Perhaps you two are mistaken or you simply didn't read.  Jungle Giants itself was not nerfed.  Cards that interact improperly with jungle giants were fixed to work consistently.  Stop looking for free dust and complaining all the time.

We apologize for not offering notice in advance of these changes before they went live. We understand that this wasn’t a good experience and that it also had an impact on some of our esports competitors as well. This wasn’t an acceptable situation all around, and we’ll do better in the future.

Sute, but for a company making millions of dollars every year, this is really poor change management.

I guess in your make-believe world in your head, people are infallible eh?

The chances of the above actually happening are so minute as to being far to little of a concern, one would say.

Wow, thank you for your condescending post!  Seriously though, are you always this arrogant and rude?  Of course it's a valid complaint,  I'm a little taken aback by the opinion piece on the front page, but yes I'm dead serious.  How are any of these inconsistencies in alternate heroes "minute"?

Ok, you got me. Now I dont know if you’re still being serious or staying in character. 😂 Bravo.

On the off chance you were, not really sure how you thought anything I said there was either rude or condescending in the slightest. “I’m not sure that word means what you think it means...” (for ref, THAT would be considered more condescending). I was genuinely pointing out that the chances of getting a Hallucination in the draft, THEN meeting a Warlock or Shaman and  THeN on top of that managing to find a DK etc are all pretty slim.

All I did was disagree with you. Are you unable to handle someone doing that? If so, I’m happy to move on...

Please do move on then.  Seriously you are probably the 2nd rudest person I've met on these forums.  If you don't want to provide a positive response then just don't bother making a comment in the first place.  EVEN IF I was trolling...what's the cardinal rule?  "Don't feed the trolls".

But also, you are completely misunderstanding the situation.

Hallucination doesn't only find Jarraxus or Hagatha. Hallucination can find ANY DEATH KNIGHT.  Meaning if you hallucinate against a mage?  Oh look, Jaina DK.  Hallucinate against a paladin? Hi Uther of the Ebon Blade!  I figured someone with over 2000 posts such as yourself would be aware of this...

And not being able to draft Hagatha for shaman arena runs is not cool either.  She's not a Death Knight, but still is banned.  And this next statement goes for everyone in the thread, not just you:

None of you find it the LEAST bit problematic that really COOL or FUN cards like Death Knights, or in the future any other Alt Heroes are just going to instantly be banned?   I mean if you take the current standard year of expansions (ungoro to present)...

2/4 of the CORE mechanics from those expansions were removed/banned. (Quests/DK's) .  Don't get me wrong, I understand WHY they were banned,  Quests require synergy which is nearly impossible to draft for, and DK's (notably Guldan and Jaina) were seriously overpowered.

And to that degree, I KIND of understand why hagatha is banned, but at the same time technically she shouldn't be.  And as I stated above, is this going to continue?  If so, it's kind of concerning.  If core mechanics continue to be removed from arena, perhaps Blizzard should consider different mechanics.   If Blizzard is worried about not everyone getting super powerful cards, they could do what Faeria did for it's draft mechanic, and just guarantee every player gets the same # of artifacts (in fact, the Dungeon run system is very similar to Faeria's arena system).

Welp, since we have a news article that pretty much condones complaining/bashing Blizzard...I do have a complaint I'd like to air as well.

I'd like to cite https://us.battle.net/forums/en/hearthstone/topic/20758787441 as Exhibit A,  specifically this section

    • Death Knight Hero cards can no longer be drafted in Arena.

Seems fair right?  Jaina DK in arena was pretty much GG, and I think while I enjoyed the spike of powerlevel cards that DK's in arena provided it was a massive RNG swing if you did or didn't draft one.  But wait....what's this?

Hallelujah.  It's my very own Arena DK finder!  Complete with massive RNG!  But...wait it gets even better.  It's just for ONE class!  And what's that?  It's one of the classes that is consistently in the top 3 contenders of arena?  Thanks Blizzard!

Oh wait....think I'm done?  Well stick around for our special made for TV offer right now!

Well hello Hagatha!  You aren't in arena either.  But wait,  you aren't a Death Knight!?!  That's odd,  so one class specific legendary card that happens to be a hero is ALSO banned from arena even though they aren't a Death Knight?  I guess 8 mana cost alternate heroes are 'too stronk' for Arena eh?

....eh...wait....they aren't?  Well hello there old friend!

I see you're still in arena.  You're rare, but I know you still exist there too.  And you're 9 mana!  Well that's not far off from 8 mana, but I guess if you're a "hero" your banned, but as long as your a battlecry minion you're immune!

    I love consistency...don't you guys?

I remember them being announced,  and it was during a time I wasn't playing Hearthstone a ton, but I've been playing a ton of arena lately and have not seen them at all.

Did they get taken out or something or are they just extremely rare bucket picks?

Or is the 3rd option, that Blizzard forgot to put them in buckets and they are just sitting in a dusty corner of some OracleDB taking up memory?

Great deck, Fire Plume Phoenix adds even more tempo compared to Nightmare Amalgam. Thanks mate!

Fire Plume is better vs midrange/aggro decks for the immediate value, but amalgam is better versus control decks, as it survives most popular aoes currently (hellfire, duskbreaker, Blizzard+ping)

Are there enough elementals to trigger Kalimos?
I count only 5 and one of them is Kalimos himself.

I mean, there's not a plethora of elementals...but careful planning should make it easy.  The difference here is that you're not running low elementals, so you should be able to plan your turns out in advance.  Even if you don't trigger kalimos it's generally ok.  Often times you'll want to play Fire Elemental and then buff it with earthen might to give yourself an extra "emergency" elemental in case the next turn doesn't go as planned.

I dont think many ppl would like it (after a game or two), but i would be down for it. Tavern Brawl is 100% the place for crazy experiments like this :)

What if instead of the toggwaggle swap effect once at the start of the game,  he swapped decks every other turn.
    So like this:
    • Turn 1 (going 1st):  Draw a card from (your) deck.
    • Turn 1 (going 2nd): Opponent draws a card from (opponent's) deck.
    • Before Turn 2 starts ToggWaggle appears and causes mischief.
    • Turn 2 (going 1st): Draw a card from (opponent's) deck.
    • Turn 2 (Going 2nd): Opponent draws a card from (your) deck.
    • Before turn 3 starts ToggWaggle appears and causes MORE mischief...
    etc etc.
That way, every other draw is from your opponents deck.  I think it would be interesting at least...

Wow,  just browsing through threads, and I decide to read this one.  I don't know who you are, (or rather who you THINK you are)...but all I can say is you're arrogant AF.

I'd go more in-depth about some of your logical fallacies you cleverly avoided admitting, but honestly you seem like the type of person who A) takes Hearthstone WAY too seriously for your skill-level (my hypothesis there: moderate at best) and B) someone who deflects topics (read: the first sentence of your quote here) when arguments are turned against them.

The correct adjective is not arrogant. You should learn the difference between confident and arrogant, they are similar, but have a very important difference between them. That's as much as I'll say regarding that, as you are feel free to think whatever the hell you want of me.

The fact you made that statement actually negates your (biased) viewpoint of yourself.  A confident person wouldn't make such a statement...only arrogant people have to make such claims because of the level of insecurity they inherently have.
Also, even if you are truly confident, well there's always the Dunning-Kruger effect.  Which means either A) you're an expert, or B) you're an idiot, as both are statistically found to have higher than normal levels of confidence.  Since TRUE experts are few and far between, I haven't heard of you, seen you stream, and you don't seem to have an affiliation (that I know of) with any Hearthstone stat sites (i.e. VS, HSreplays.net, metastorm, etc)....then I have to assume your confidence probably stems from the low end of the dunning-kruger scale.
You can retort with your next arrogant reply whenever you like. :)  I'm sure it'll be entertaining, if nothing else.

Can we please stop arguing about piloting it correctly, the Warlock Control decks are super easy to pilot if you've got à bit if experience with the game and the meta.. As said, I could predict each play before he did it, I just pushed my luck because I knew it would be the only way I'd win this game. I knew hellfire was coming, I didn't play my totem in order not to get the 1/1 one and get defiled, never overextended because of the incoming Twisting Nethers... You must be a Warlock player in order to say that your deck implies more skill than another, this isn't even the point... There are bad match ups which I can win, and then there is (was) Warlock pre-nerf and maybe post-nerf.

I mean, we can stop arguing about piloting decks correctly, but just a fun fact, that is what should be the most important aspect of the game, the way the decks are piloted. Hearthstone, or any card game, when stripped down to it's basic concepts, should award wins to players depending on solely two aspects, Strategy and Technical play.
Strategy being the deck and game plan you have, which is one you decide is good to face other players, something that you control, and Technical play being the player executing the game plan correctly and according to the matchup you are facing.
In Hearthstone, those two aspects to play a part, and specially over large sample sizes of games, that is extremely important. When it comes to an isolated instance, a single game, then Luck is 75% of the deciding factor for that single game. The clash between strategies will determine a lot of the matchup, the luck of the draw and random elements will determine almost the rest, with the Technical play of the players in that particular game deciding the rest.
I'm not saying Control Warlock decks are hard to pilot, they simply require more Technical play than a deck like the Shaman you are playing. Again, if you don't believe me, you are welcome to try the 200 game experiment, you will understand what I mean when you finish that experiment.
I'm not a Warlock player per say. I'm a player, I play every single class, although I barely tough the Priest class. In fact, thematically speaking, Warlock is my least favourite class, with Priest being the class I simply don't like. I enjoy the other 7 classes far more when it comes to thematics, and when it comes to play styles, Warlock is my 5th class.
The thing is, I have played this game far too much, I don't hold particular bias towards classes, I am more concerned with Balance and with aspects that are far more important to me, like diversity of strategies and existence of tools to deal with those, rather than what a particularly bad matchup plays like, specially in a single isolated game, rather than a long sample size of games, which is what you provided us.
Wow,  just browsing through threads, and I decide to read this one.  I don't know who you are, (or rather who you THINK you are)...but all I can say is you're arrogant AF.

I played it a little more and my main problem where the god damn even paladins and the lack of aoe. Also I felt like 2 Corpsetaker are too much. Yes, they did help in certain situations but I never had 2 of them with at least 2 buffs.

So I replaced 1 Dire Wolf Alpha and 1 Corpsetaker for 1 Wild Pyromancer and 1 Zap!. I did better with that version going 10-5 so far. Zap! in particular helped me a lot(!). Wondering if I cut the Pyro for a second one because it feels so bad keeping Pyro on hand for a little longer ...

I was considering zap for awhile as well.  I just felt that if you run zap, you need to run other spell synergy cards to help with a little value (i.e. Pyromancer as you suggested, or perhaps Violet Teacher even...)

The deck itself is fun but stands no real chance in the current meta. Something is missing for success .. like each game. 2-4 so far.

I know this seems like crazy talk, but currently between rank 8-6 (I keep bouncing around with this deck, but I've also refined it a bit) I've noticed some under-performing cards. (Note, these are all cards I've ever stopped using in this deck, or have noticed lower efficacy from.)
Primalfin Totem - This card is just not that great in a deck without murloc buffs and/or bloodlust.  Often your opponent removes it for free (being 0 attack) so you're left with a 1/1.  If that's the case, you're better off running the Murloc Tidehunter since it's a 2/1 and can at least trade up in some instances.  Also, Primalfin totem is notoriously bad if you summoned  0/2 totem on turn 1, since it creates a perfect defile curve of 1 (murloc), 2 (Hero power), 3 (Primalfin totem).  Often warlocks will just ignore it and play defile or hellfire.
Dire Wolf Alpha - I know, many people would think this is a dumb move, and they may actually be right.  In some instances the wolf provides enough of an edge to squeeze out a win, but like the primalfin totem, it's often removed quite too easily.  @ 2 health with no other special mechanics, the sneaky devil honestly feels like a better alpha, because often doing 1 face damage is inconsequential, and against warlocks playing into board clears is tough.
Sneaky Devil - While I think this does outperform wolf, all in all I feel like it's still sub-par when it comes to a buff/snowball mechanic.  The saving grace on this card is that it's stealthy allows it to survive minions and thus continue to provide SOME teeth with totems.

posted a message on Shuddy Shammy but it's actually Zoo

Since you mentioned you are open to criticism let me make a few points (not sure if you've addressed this already or not, I skimmed your guide)

I've been playing two versions of shudderwock shaman since WW released.  First version was the OTK slow version with massive board clears, far sight, and all the stall cards you can think of.  The goal of that deck was to obviously draw the combo pieces to continually play shudderwock and kill your opponent.  Very good against control, horrible against aggro.  (incidentally I believe that deck actually MADE the meta go hyper polarized with Baku Hunter, Aggro Paladin (both even and odd), as well as Spiteful decks (highroll to kill you fast).

Then after I got bored of that, I tried a value shaman deck with Elementals.  I eventually dropped the Earthen Might spells (very good cards btw, I love them, in favor of a keleseth for a more value oriented shaman deck).  Overall it was fun and I still play it from time to time.  (I've already got my golden Shaman hero for awhile now, so I'm working on different classes at the moment so I stopped playing it.)

Anyhow with that preface out of the way (I promise it's related somewhat...) the deck you've built here seems too haphazard.  You either commit to the OTK deck (which TBH is vastly different, the point that you really shouldn't bother saying "play 1 lifedrinker with grumble and you can OTK" or you commit to the value wock.

I understand what you are doing,  you're trying to create a "meta killer" and hedge your bets against all types of opponents, and in some niche situations it will maybe squeak out a win that a different Shudderwock deck would have outright lost, but overall if you dilute your deck with too many tech choices, you actually hurt your win condition.  Just my 2 cents...

My own thoughts on some changes to this deck...

If you wanted, you could throw in a Vicous Scalehide for lifesteal procs on Corpsetaker (and subsequently on Shudderwock).  This allows shudderwock to be used for value AND defennsively as well since with corpsetaker you can give your wocks divine shield + taunt.  Myself, I'm leaning more toward an elemental package, so I use Tol'vir instead, but either way there's a lot of flexibility to the decks and lots of tech choices you can include to counter specific decks (i.e. The Darkness to soft counter spiteful decks).
