That being said, question: After cutting Malygos, do you think Living Roots provides enough value in this metagame? The tokens can't really touch a lot of the early drops any more, we don't really pack Power of the Wild to synergize with it, and cards like Maelstrom Pulse just set us dangerously back in tempo. I have been thinking about cutting one to put in a Doomsayer.
I got 50% win rate with 10 games at rank 12-14 when I decided to stop. Too painful to climb with those numbers. I'm 5/1 with the current deck (only one Shaman in that small sample though). Real test comes in the 10-5 range, I suppose.
I'm honestly not a big fan of Violet Teacher right now. Too vulnerable, and it doesn't address the big problem of Druid needing aggressive board clear to handle tempo decks. 2 Swipe and 1 Starfall, supplemented by 2 Feral Rage and 2 Moonglade Portal seem to stall out aggression quite nicely.
Then there's also the Beast decks. Mixed results so far. I think it has the same problem.
It basically evolved out of Hotform's anti-Shaman deck a few months ago. I ran it with Malygos for a short while, and now that Yogg is out, I went back to the original concept.
Oh, and I forgot: This deck 100% needs Emperor Thaurissan. It's like an Innervate for all of your two-card combos, like Stone + Moonlade for 9 or Stone + Swipe for 7.
Well, if Shaman rears its head again, I might just go back to 2x Moonkin + 2x Starfall. It really eats the board. Hotform's original Spell Power Druid actually was specialized for that matchup.
This will hardly be the end of the deck. Yogg is just unpredictable board clear with the possibility of a good body. He usually dies himself, especially if you play him with a high spell count. You can play him earlier with a much higher chance of survival.
That being said, I have been running a variant with a Moonkin and Starfall (Malygos is optional here). I might just add another Starfall or Medivh (which works great with Moonglade and Starfall). Another option is Soggoth, if you happen to have him. Incredibly hard to remove for some classes, great for stabilization.

Malydruid is pretty consistent against Shaman.
My list has a 77.78% win rate against Shaman so far:

I've added Harrison to mine as well.
It's insane how the meta keeps suddenly moving.

I've actually been moving away from the cheeseball build with Malygos and Yogg myself. Mine focuses on getting value from Medivh and Portals though: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/531368-portal-druid

Not sure if it's consistent enough without Yogg or some major changes.

So I was wrong. The deck is a lot less consistent than I had thought.
Well, it was fun while it lasted? Here's the version that I've been playing recently:

I disagree. Just play Yogg a bit faster than you normally would. He typically survives at lower counts.
