I think it's partially because it's a very bland deck. There's no style. It's basically just a tempo deck with really good cards, why would you want to play against that?
I think we'd need a bit more information on your current collection and what staple legendaries/epics you currently own. I would wait a few weeks for the meta to settle unless you desperately need cards. However, if you do disenchant the extras, Keleseth is a fine choice to craft and will be relevant for about a year (I believe). But if you don't want to disenchant the entire collection, you'll have to do it individually. Start with legendaries, then epics, then rares.
As for packs, I think Boomsday is your safest bet right now. It will be around the longest other than Witchwood (again, don't quote me) and my first impression of the cards in this set is that the power level is SO much higher than what we've seen recently. If it were me though, I like to have variety so maybe alternate between Kobolds and Boomsday. Don't forget it's not all about winning, there's a lot of fun cards in the other sets. Best of luck!
Since apparently "bump" is "non constructive" and worthy of being sent a warning by a mod, I suppose I'll elaborate because I'm caffeinated and very tired of seeing people bitch about this.
Blizzard doesn't give a rat's about f2p players getting gold easier. They are a business and they exist to make money. The more free shit they give to people like you, the less incentive you have to pay Blizzard money. If you're old enough to understand this concept, you're probably almost old enough to find a job and maybe spend a bit of your extra money on a hobby that I'm assuming you spend a lot of time on since you're on its forum website. If you're not old enough to understand it, then you probably shouldn't be playing a strategy game where critical thinking is involved anyway.
Ultimately I always perform better when I really want to play the game. Even if it's with a meme deck I've created myself, if I want to do well with it, I have a much higher drive to do so. The model of the game is to encourage you to feel the need to play everyday so that you stay connected to it and never fall out of touch lest you fall behind the rest of the playerbase. This is done through daily quests shoved in your face, weekly tavern brawls and expansion hype about two months out from it's actual release. It's done this way so that it's almost to your detriment to take a break from the game.
The problem with this model is that you tend to forget why you're even playing in the first place. At the end of the day, you started playing this game to have fun with a card game but Blizzard leads you into a grindy mindset so they can profit more. My solution is to walk away from the game for a few days, or stop paying attention to tier 1 decks and your rank. Maybe play a little bit of wild, use a FUN deck like Exodia Paladin. You just can't lose sight of why you're playing the game - to enjoy yourself. It shouldn't feel like work, that's what you want to get AWAY from.
Love it. Hearthstone needs to continue printing more fun, fresh, build-around type cards. Not sets with 90% "give obligatory minion type" +2 +2 or "deathrattle: summon a random whatever the fuck"
Just packed a golden one of these. Unfortunately I'm pretty sure there is NO practical use for this card lol, but I love underdog cards and I don't disenchant golden legendaries. Hopefully with some of the potential new control paladin cards in Boomsday, this will have some viability because I love the art.
Kirin Tor Mage is essential to tempo mages. I find it annoying as well but there is fundamentally nothing problematic with the power level and it doesn't limit the design space. It's simply a good card, definitely doesn't need to be HoF'd.
Problem card. In essence this card has the same design flaw as Ice Block. It also just makes matches go on way too long to the point they aren't fun in the slightest.

Wrathion
A tribeless card, that interacts with another tribe.

Because card games tend to attract nerds and this often includes people on the spectrum, keyboard warriors, and loners. Real shit.

"I. Am. Mal'Ganis. I. Am. ETERNAL!!"

I received one as one of my preorder golden legendaries. I have yet to use it. I suppose I'll try it out when the month is over.

Lmao this is easily a contender for the worst cards ever printed

130 because this game has a compulsive death grip on my bank account.

Yeah the Lynessa logic wouldn't be a problem for me if Kobolds wasn't released half a damn year ago. Come on Blizz.
