4 years ago i've made this post and left the game, what do you think now? Is it better now, or things continue to go wrong?

When you have 3 cards in hand there is not enough options to chose from...

Initially skill in hearthstone was to predict what cards your opponent most likely has in hand, what is his attack plan and which finisher-combo he is going to play against you, based on this prediction you was able play smart, sometimes best choice was to skip a turn, or to make obviously bad move to show opponent you have nothing, i had some decks that mimics popular ones but uses unusual finishers so noone was prepared to my deadly move.

that all ended with introduction of too many overpowered cards. when you can't predict what in your opponent's hand it is hard to build any long term strategy, and strategy to kill opponent asap is boring even when you lucky  enough to draw some interesting starting hand

my favorite cards was https://hearthstone.fandom.com/wiki/Sylvanas_Windrunner (often i was killing it myself)
    and https://hearthstone.fandom.com/wiki/Faceless_Manipulator

at the very start Legends of Runeterra was good enough, but they made same thing to their game even faster than blizzard, instead of long boring games with tricky strategies, with bluff,  unexpected combos and move prediction, it started to be a clown fiesta, when you can start a turn with one card and 1 hp and full board on opponents side, and randomly draw/create/summon/steal something ultra powerfull, you can get 30+ cards and infinite mana of nowhere and kill everything heal yourself and win -  this is not fun at all for me

It should be about prediction of expected moves, about probability calculation, an you opponent should predict your moves,
most fun way to win is by tricking opponent expectations... not by performing a lucky clown fiesta thing

    ok, for example

    1) you are playing against razakus, he played raza and hero, now each turn can be last for you depending on his hand, not on your skill -  there is very little you can do about it, you can try drop a rat to destroy his Prophet Velen or if you a mage you can try some secrets, but otherwise there is no way to defend yourself, because any next turn he may play his combo hpProphet VelenhpHoly SmitehpMind BlasthpThe Coinhp = 2+4+4+4+10+4+4 = 32

    2) exodia mage - lol he even don't care what is you class or deck, he is digging his deck for a combo, again only rat or some secret may be a smart way to deal with it

best way to win razakus or exodia is to kill it fast with aggro/tempo (play all what you draw with a very few exceptions)

    Mill Rogue

are you serious - there is no way to win with it any other matchups

Hey, you are the one saying there are no other options to win against quest mage. Just because the deck isn't top tier doesn't mean it still doesn't act as an effective counter.
Top-notch high win rate or better win rate against decks you don't like. Pick one.
I'm ready to discuss only playable decks,
my initial statement meant to be "it is getting less and less interesting for me to play ranked"
and i think that the problem is a huge amount of OP cards available, decks used to contain 80% of cards that suck more or less, now we've got 15+ op cards in each deck, what reduced importance of thinking in favor of good luck

It's so fun, seeing a poll made to thrash the state of the game, when most of the votes says otherwise.

i'm absolutley not surprised with poll results
i'm clearly understand that there are lots of people who don't know math and just love to drop a huge Yogg-Saron, Hope's End and laugh watching him killing themselves while drinking a beer.
