Blizzard: "Here's a new toy for free. You don't have to play with it, but if you want to, we can enhance your experience if you pay us."
Community: "How dare they do this to us!? Hearthstone is ruined! Sham of a company! I only want a full and complete game for free!!"
Did I get that right? Just play it if you want to, and if you like it, spend money on it. If not, don't play/buy anything.
When BGs came out, I tried it a bit, didn't really find it that fun, so stopped playing it. Then when they released the cosmetics recently, I didn't take to the forums to complain about how Blizzard is so greedy for trying to make money off of it. Just let people who like it, enjoy it.
Also, I've played plenty of gacha games and never spent a penny on them. No matter how many times they give you that splash screen with all the cRaZy dEaLs!!! They usually give you plenty of free summons or whatever during your playthrough to enjoy the game. And if you really hit a brick wall and have to pay to continue playing... well, that game gets uninstalled and forgotten.
The thing here is that mercenaries has not replaced regular Hearthstone, it is simply an add-on mode. It's not a problem at all.

Did you get them before you got all new commons or after? Because if after, why wouldn't it give you more copies?

I don't understand your issue here. You had one blade of C'thun and received another, no? Them being listed as different cards is somewhat silly but duplicate protection works.

Rexxar will not be buffed. Even if he is kinda slow for wild, he will be very playable in any Twist and KFT has many more heroes that are weaker
Gormok and Rafaam are cards from the current Twist and... I wouldn't expect buffs soon.
All other buffs are likely.

Change the card text to "can only be cast once per game" and the problem is solved.

11 out of 16 games against quest decks. No, I don't mind when some type of card is popular...
I mind when... THERE IS NOT A SINGLE CARD IN THE GAME TO PUT IN MY DECK TO COUNTER THAT!!
It is not how card games should work. If there is a strategy, a popular card type, then there should be an answer. And no, "play aggro and kill them before they finish their quest" is not an answer,

As someone who is willing to play tier 4 decks against big priests and company, this shifts a lot for me because if they buff tier 10 archetypes to tier 4 then I am gaining many more decks to play and enjoy even if tier 1 stay the same.

I am really curious if any C'Thun deck will rise to a decent tier in wild. Buffs are substantiation and if they print some new class C'thun cards it may become really, really good.

They try to buff archetypes that existed before Un'goro, both good and bad: C'thun, jade, renopriest, beast druid, totem shaman, mech mage, discard warlock, control paladin, etc. I think their focus is to make a really fun September Twist, with wild being of secondary consideration.
