    You're welcome!
No Steam Cleaner : it's not useful because you are favored against plague DK without it.
Right now I have Jaraxxus, Theotar and Coroner. I change it a lot, and sometimes I take Rustrot Viper or Yogg-Saron.

What did you fight against ? If you only played against Mage, Warrior and Rogue then yeah it's quite possible to lose 5 games in a row. But that doesn't happen ! There are too many paladins, DK and sludge warlocks in ladder at the moment, and those are relatively easy to beat.

If you lose against these guys, maybe it's because you clear the board too soon ? Very often the best play is to let the opponent hurt you and clear later. That's why I have to play Renathal. I tried a lot of time to remove him from the deck but the 5 extra life points are too important.

Or maybe you play for early win ? That almost never works, even if you get the perfect start (2 6/8 on turn 4). Just consider the forge and big guys to be defensive. Against aggro, you play to get the opponent to fatigue, and only that. You only go face when your opponent made a weak turn.

With 4 forge cards in the deck I have no problem to use Ignis, but it's not a key card. Ignis is mostly here because it gives hope to win against mage and warrior (just like Theotar). It can sometimes save you against aggros but I wouln't include him if there were no control decks in ladder.

Loken is not a key card either but it's not only there to generate a big guy. Sometimes you are not so hunappy to grab azshara, theotar, sylvanas or even an armor vendor or astalor. It depends on the situation.

In ETC I currently have: Lord Jaraxxus, a Coroner for aggros and Yogg-Saron. I can't run Yogg in the main deck because you need Taelan to always draw Sargeras.
I change the ETC cards very often.

Mulligan basically is only 3 cards : Gloomstone guardian, mortal eradication and defile.
Exception 1 : keep Forge of wills if you also have Gloomstone or Anubisath.
Exception 2 : against warrior, mage and priest, mulligan is : Azshara, Theotar, Symphony of Sin, Ignis. And if they play a 40 cards deck, your main goal is to get them to discard 12 cards, which happens quite often. If they play 30 cards, you are very unfavored and the main option is either lucky Theotar or armor weapon from Ignis.

By the way I changed the deck in legend and I'm quite happy with the new version. But low rank legend is not the best test for a deck - many people experiment for next month. I will publish the new version if it goes to legend in march.

    Hi, cool refresh!
I reached legend every month except December with control warlock.
Since there is at least one intererested person, I will publish my current version :)

Really, Jaraxxus is in the deck only for control priest. Most times they will copy Sargeras and Jaraxxus is there to make a difference.
I don't think Steamcleaner is needed because I almost always win against plague DK and other warlocks.

You already have Prince renathal... it's a very good tech card against plague DK.

Yeah, why not. The thing is Theotar is completely useless against aggro while Azshara can save the game with a lucky colossal minion or draw.
And I don't think there is any game that requires Rivendare to win :)
A good replacement for Azshara is starfish : great against paladin, rogue, druid and you can also use it for a surprise attack with Sargeras and Anubisath!

One starfish in the deck and another in ETC is very good. I had one in ETC before the buffs but I cound't resist 8 mana Jaraxxus.

I couldn't reach legend in July. Working on the Titan update now.

yeah ruining Guff druid is one of the most satisfying thing that can happen in hearthstone at the moment :) I have very bad stats against it, though

    Also agree 100%

I feel the meta is wrong since Denathrius, now replaced by Astalor, and I've never felt anything like that before. Astalor is OP, sure, but the real problem I have is that it's in every deck (including mines, sadly). You can put the card everywhere, it's just a 2 drop, it gives you a ton of value and there is no drawback for including it. As the original poster stated, this is not how such a card should be designed.

I don't like this card but I can generally accept its existence. It's interesting to try to play around it.

The problem I have is that the battlecry can be repeated. It's just too powerful for that kind of effect, makes end of control vs control games very stupid. You're playing an intense game against a druid and suddenly he plays Brann+Denathrius and it's over.

I only play control (other styles bore me) and that kind of games ruins my experience at the moment. But Denathrius is not my only problem : Bran+Jace is just as stupid.

In my opinion, some very powerful battlecries / deathrattles (from legendaries obviously) should become something like "Single battlecry" which would mean that a player can only trigger it once in a game. Only dreaming though, I know such a change will never happen :)

    What I want:
    1) A major nerf for denathrius
    2) Increase the mana cost of Theotar
    3) Increase the mana cost of Guff
    And I will be happy.

posted a message on When are the next batch of nerfs coming, devs?

Denathrius finally killed my love for this game. That love resisted to a ton of stuff during the last years but I can't stand effects like that... you're enjoying a nice game with a lot of action and suddenly *puff* it's over because you just lost your 30 life points out of nowhere.

There are solutions, sure. You can play aggro ... but what if you don't like aggro style ? When I play an aggro deck I don't enjoy the game so I don't do that.

You can also use disrupt cards, but that's so random... I play a ton of games where my only hope is to eat or steal Denathrius. That's so interesting... so I bore myself slowly to death using Mutanus or the mad duke.

I don't know if the problem is Denathrius himself or the fact that several classes can duplicate his battlecry but I have never needed a nerf so much.
