You can't fix unethical card design by a public verdict.

To even attempt it "unethical card design" (whatever that means) would have to exist.  As it doesn't it's a moot point.

    Quote from Hooghout >>

Well before start playing you get multiple options to choose from. For instance if you don't want a matchup against an OTK deck you can choose that option. Or you can do it per class. If you don't want to meet Hunters, you ban that class before the matchup.

What would that do to the meta...….

Don't think this would do anything for the meta but it would let you create an environment that was favourable to your deck thereby allowing you an easier climb and reducing the amount of skill needed to advance.

The very fact thet you can ban OTK decks in tournaments says something how repulsive they are. That this is not possible on ladder signify 'more rights' for the tournament player. The fact that you can't ban them on ladder has its reasons. You can fill it in yourself.

FAKE NEWS! Easy to fact check as well.

The very fact thet you can ban OTK decks in tournaments says something how repulsive they are.

No it doesn't all the banning says is how weak the tournament players selection of decks was vs the deck they banned from their opponents selection.  There were several times that control priest (you're chosen class) was banned this does not mean it is a repulsive archetype.  You only have to do minimal research into the recent Europe and Americas HCT Winter games to see that whilst there were plenty of OTK decks there they were not always the target of the bans.

That this is not possible on ladder signify 'more rights' for the tournament player.

False equivalency, these are not comparable situations.  It would be like saying "that it is not possible to pick the ball up in football (soccer for the US readers) signifies 'more rights' for the rugby players".  Tournament players are not seeking for an opponent, they are in a fixed 1 vs 1 game facing a number of decks so can ban one of those that could pose them a problem.  Totally different from the ladder situation where an algorithm is trying to match you against one of thousands of people around your skill level.

The fact that you can't ban them on ladder has its reasons. You can fill it in yourself.

On this one you're actually correct, the reasons are pretty simple really and have been covered in multiple posts before.  If you could ban on ladder the system could fall apart, as at the most simple of levels aggro would ban control, control would ban combo and combo would ban aggro and at this point no one is able to play.

posted a message on Why are many players still using these non interactive decks although the win rates below average
    Quote from Hooghout >>

A very good question OP. What is willed by developers knowing the psychology of target audience, the fanboy that  doesn't want a game of skill and control, but rather either mindless aggression or OTK railroadism?

Although non interactief decks are above average in winrates - as a reason why they are used - it is the uninteractive part that is especially skill-denying and skill-contemptuous. More interested though why you ask  then,  instead of why developers know the choice psychology of the masses.

Can I ask what kind of decks do you like to play specifically?  I know from all your posts you only play control but what flavour?  Do I recall you saying you played control priest?

Where do you think the high skill play comes in control?

Where is the proof that Roman rulers knew in advance that the masess would love blood, sands and gladiator fights? They just did and the masses became the huge fanboy target audience. Enough to keep them sheeple.

So, as ever most of your points are just poor however this one was particularly jarring for it's wrongness.  You do realise that the movie Gladiator and the TV Show Spartacus are just a fantastical view on how Rome worked and not very historically accurate don't you?

So whilst I can't prove or disprove what the Roman rulers knew in advance it doesn't take much research to find the origins of Gladiatorial combat and how that evolved over centuries into the grand games people associate with the Colloseum.  The rulers didn't just have a whim that this would be a good way to control the masses, it had nothing to do with any of that it started as a way to worship and appease their gods during funeral rites and grew from there.

When you are intellectually cornered, the  'that's not how it works' is not even close an easy way out. It just shows you're fraud, pretending to be knowledgeable, but in the end just a loud common fanboy.

Much in the same way that when you're intellectually challenged saying:

I, myself take a step back and analyse the performance of developers based on provided skill, balance, diversity, questions mentioned and more.

is "not how it works" and doesn't really add any weight to your crazed ramblings or desire to feel unique and superior.  It's the same reason there's no point trying to debate with conspiracy nuts, they have made up their mind, they've found their evidence and done their "critical thinking" and everyone else is just a sheeple or a shill.

You're like a toddler stating they've done a thorough assessment of the nutritional benefits of chocolate and despite what their nutritional fanboy parents say they're just naïve and it should be chocolate for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Team 5 doesn't pick or create decks, they release cards that sometimes suggest specific archetypes, but they don't makes cards like Baku and go, "We want Odd Paladin to be top tier," then when it's too strong, nerf CTA because "Okay now we want EVEN Paladin to be top tier."

Team 5 doesn't give a fuck what specific deck or class is the best.

Fundamental BS. T5 print specific for aggressive decks to rule and even dominate the meta.  Seen it every expansion. It's card design politics. Who thinks that they don't know in advance which archetypes will be top tier, is fundamentally ignorant how HS became a succes (feeding mindlessness).

     Source?

Just look back at all the previous posts, the source is clearly the same as Trumps.  The little voice in the back of their head that keeps reassuring them that they know best, they have the biggliest view of Hearthstone and how it should be.  In fact there has never been someone who knows about Hearthstone, card design or game design as much as them.  All these people who use reasoned arguments to show all the errors and inaccuracies in their wild ramblings about mindlessness and how Blizzard control the game to keep it aggro are just FAKE NEWS and out to get them.

Probably got their own little MHCO hat as well (Make Hearthstone Control Only)

Sorry all of you, but the MTG argument is ridiculous. In MTG (or other physical card games) you can just sell any cards you don't need! You get back real money!

So don't act like crafting would be a player-friendly feature. Being able to trade cards with other players would have been the right way.

And as someone with cupboards full of MTG cards I find the physical product argument ridiculous.  You're right you get back real money however it is a miniscule fraction of the amount I've spent and generally not really worth it.

I dont mind quit things, but when a man cry about something he couldnt get (skin, bundle, etc.) that makes him a girl. Man needs to do something and go forward, but not cry, thats why men are here on this planet.

My point is that crying does not lead to anything. How can we influence or how did someone influence the company's policy in terms of money? This discussion is meaningless. You either play this game, or you do not.
But when a person still plays and whines, does that mean he's a whiny girl?

Or do you want to discuss the so-called equality of the sexes? :)

SWEET BABY JEEBUS how ass backwards are you?

Not only did you fail to grasp the point of the comment made by Dendroid but you then doubled down with your behind the times sexist bullshit.  Then raising the equality of the sexes which has literally nothing to do with how men or women react to things.

    Quote from Maxym_Bykov >>

Let me answer this for you, possibly, if that person is A - a girl and B - whining.  If that person is a man then there a whiny man

What I find hilarious is your Signature and yet you're arguing with a person from Ukraine about sexual equality on the internet xD Calm down, if you're offended by A) his statement or B) his doubling down then I got bad news for you. YOU have some deep emotional shit going on that you need to sort out. Words are words, if they hurt you then its because you LET them hurt you.

To be fair I hadn't noticed where they were from but it wouldn't have made any difference as I'm not in the habit of assuming everyone from a particular country is the same.  I have met plenty of Ukrainians who have very different views from the poster, so their response to me suggesting that where they're from is any excuse is just pish.

Enlighten me, in what way does me being offended and calling out someone for being openly sexist show that I have some "deep emotional shit" going on and what exactly do you think I need to sort out?  If you think that just blindly accepting people being racist/homophobic/sexist demonstrates some kind of emotional issue because well they're only words then you're a pretty shit human being / Trump supporter

    Quote from Stanley427 >>

I agree. More than a full price game and you don't even get the full expansion. And an expansion != full game, not even close.

So, you already have the full game it cost you absolutely nothing.  What you are lacking is the additional expansion content which is also absolutely free you will just take some time, effort and sacrifice to get it.  So essentially you can have the game and all its expansions for free.

The problem you and many others on here are having is with your perception of what you're entitled to and the comparisons you're trying to draw between Hearthstone and AAA games.  As was said in another post:

    Quote from 1xbenx1 >>

A digital CCG is not a PC game...smh

This is totally true, people need to stop thinking of Hearthstone as a PC game and more as a digital representation of a CCG (which as was said above is exactly what it is).  The comparison that is more accurately drawn is with Magic, $80 would barely scratch the surface of getting you a single full release set.  Hearthstone by comparison is far cheaper.

And what about the Building WTC 7 that wasn't mentioned in the official Commission Report?

The buildings and their collapse weren't the focus or intent of the official commission report though, it was in essence a lessons learned document around what happened before, during and in the aftermath of the attack.   It is a fascinating (albeit lengthy report) with a lot of insights into what went on during the day.  Do you perhaps mean the NIST investigations which discussed WTC 7 at length and had an entire report (NIST NCSTAR 1A) dedicated to it (this is not an interesting document it is a remarkably dry technical assessment as you'd expect).

Back on topic can't say I saw any differences from pre-ordering, I was a lucky with my pack draws as I always am.

Nope, I feel fully whelmed by this release.

Day one and I have a full collection and it was great opening 270 packs, those two pre-orders you decried in a previous post were well worth it.

Loads of interesting decks to try out and I'm seeing way more decks with new cards in them than previous expansions.  IMHO one of the best day one expansions in a long time.

270 packs opened (incl both pre-orders) and a complete set of cards achieved which was nice.

After opening was only missing 9 epics and 5 legendaries and the dust I got easily covered those.
