Well, regarding the cultists, I can say that they unless they are more inspired than vanilla stats with the same old battlecry as Beckoner of Evil and Skeram Cultist it'll likely be labeled a noob deck. Twilight Elder and C'Thun's Chosen are great though, fun and a little different.

For the remaining Neutrals I'm hoping for something like "At the start of you turn, Give your C'thun +2/+2", making it bait for removal. The Class cards will hopefully play with class themes a little more, like Ancient Shieldbearer does, but Klaxxi Amber-Weaver does not.

I agree, I think the current cards are pretty vanilla. I want to see some cool cards to mix it up... 2 things I am thinking is a priest minion that would actually decrease an opponents C'Thun. I think that would be a neat mechanic for a control priest. The other was a 1-mana deathrattle that would buff C'Thun by +1/+1. It would just be a bit different from the battlecries we have gotten so far. I even think this minion could be corrupted... A corrupted Lightwarden called Warden of Darkness or something like that

When WOG was leaked, it was said there would be 16 minions that would buff C'Thun's Attack and Health.

So far there have only been 4 (Beckoner of Evil, Twilight Elder, C'Thun's Chosen, and Skeram Cultist) These minions are a 2, 3, 4, and 6 drop.

I think 16 may be a bit excessive, or (more likely) it was misinterpreted and minions such as Klaxxi Amber-Weaver and Ancient Shieldbearer are counted towards that 16

Personally, I think there will be a class specific C'Thun card for all 9 classes, and then 7 neutral minions 1-7 mana that will buff him.

I am curious on what you guys think the remaining C'Thun card may be like, or what you would like to see from them, and even what you think of the ones released so far. Really this is just for us to discuss what we think of C'Thun and his cult. ALL HAIL C'THUN!!!

It isn't random, here is the math...

Assuming they have 2 fiery war axes in their deck and are going first the odds of them NOT drawing it are (28/30)*(27/29)*(26/28) = 80.689%

So they have just under a 20% chance at having it

Assuming then they mulligan all 3 cards and try again they also have an 80.689% chance at not getting it for that specific time, BUT the overall odds of them not getting it either time are 80.689*80.689 = 65.1082% meaning, yes they likely won't get it in their opening hand, but when they hard mulligan for that specific card, they will get it about 35% of the time, so it seems quite frequent

This also doesn't include the odds of them getting it on their turn 1 or turn 2 draw which would increase their odds by about 15%, or if they are going second they can mulligan 4 cards and have roughly a 44% chance at getting it before they draw on turn 1 and turn 2

I like the idea Champ, but I agree it be so broken unless it had awful stats. Like maybe a 3 or 4mana with 1 health or something like that would be fine. Something that is easy to kill, and just requires you to kill it before playing a battlecry. I think I would prefer it being a secret tho. Just cancels it... although if you play Eater of Secrets would probably cause a glitch in the matrix o.O

Nope eater of secrets would just destroy it because battle cries occur before a minion is in play so to speak. Which is why if you play Kevan mystic into Korrie entity you'll steal the mirror entity as opposed to mirror entity proccing and kezan effect fizzling
I was honestly just joking with it glitching... It is just cool to think about some weird interactions and counters within the game

    Why Summoning Stone?

I'm not sure what Cerebro's opinion on it is, but the games that I have played the Stone I have had some sort of lead on the board, and one of two things will happen. It will either be killed immediately, and that provides me the opportunity to buff my other minions, or it will be overlooked and I run away with the game. Additionally, when it is played behind a taunt, it usually requires some sort of hard removal from your opponent to kill it, and that loss in tempo from them helps you take a bigger lead and win the game.

posted a message on New Card - Eater of Secrets

Against Hunter it may eat 2 secrets on turn 4 so it is a 4/6 that would be hard to deal with as Hunter

Against Mage it may eat 2 secrets as well so it be a 4/6 and die to fiireball

Against Paladin (in Standard) they are losing avenge, so at most you see 4 from mysterious challenger so on turn 6 you are playing a 4 mana 6/8 which is huge! but... less people will play secret paly, and the ones that do may only play 2 or 3 secrets... this is best on turn 4 against a paly that gets secret keeper turn 1 and then buffs it up immediately the next turn

My point is I don't think this is as over powered as a lot of people are making it out to be since less people will play secret paly in standard, and there is no more mad scientist, so people will actually have to burn some mana to play their secrets

posted a message on So, will 5/4 for 4 be considered better than 4/5 in standart?

Standard will def be a slower game which bodes well for Prist, and Auchenai + Circle will probably be even more common of a clear with the loss of Lightbomb

Would work a bit like inspire and add the irony? (I don't know if that is the right word) of control priests often "healing" to a 30 health face on turn 2. Would definitely be aggressive in the sense that it is a 3 attack 1 drop

next up a Shaman card that adds synergy with totems

    posted a message on Dragonz'rilla

I've been playing with Nefarian so far and it seems to be working pretty nice in the control games, and even a bit in the tempo. Against control you normally win by making it to turn 7/8/9 and playing big minion after big minion forcing them to to use hard removals on them. By playing Nefarian first you get 2 more cards to control the game and force them to take him out ASAP because they won't survive long if they leave him. This then gives you an opening to play your big minions with passive abilities like Chromaggus or Ysera. In tempo matches it doesn't matter as much even tho it is a bit slower than King Krush These games are generally won when you can control the early game with King's Elekk and Twilight Guardian and still maintain good card draw with Acolyte of Pain. If you make it to turn 7/8/9 in these matchups you have effectively won anyways no matter what big minion you play at this point.

I know this is a bit of ways away, but with the standard format coming Gahz'rilla is the only card in this that will need to be replaced, assuming there isn't a viable replacement in the new expansion, what current card could replace it? I was thinking Nefarian or maybe Gruul

Other than Sneed and the Pilots idk how much it really gets nerfed... I think it def gets nerfed, but you can also look at it as a better chance to take Sylvanas which I find myself doing a lot in a control priest anyways. We also have to wait and see what good deathrattles come out of the new expansion. Point is, I don't think curator is hit too hard
