It should cost 6 mana if you compare it with Azure Drake, and it's a class card...

Razzagod posted a message on Card Nerf - Ironbeak OwlPosted in: Card DiscussionCouldn't they just up the stats to 3/2 to at least make it seem playable? Because Spellbraker now is just strictly better...
It's also a 4 mana... meaning you can't play it as soon, you can't combo it as easy with other cards. Could maybe see it as a 2/2 though. -

Juggernaut posted a message on Card Nerf - Ancient of LorePosted in: Card DiscussionThis is absolute bullshit. Nerf/delete the combo all you want, Blizzard... But this nerf is completely unnecessary. AoL has been my favorite card since I started playing. Horrible value now. RIP.

turn 2: loot hoarder --> turn 3 (coin) or 4 : astral c. --> you kill your hoarder and you can play something not just heropower that turn.
turn 2: engineer --> after you play astral c. than the card you got also will nothing.

Bromanov91 posted a message on Cho'gallPosted in: Cho'gallPretty much any spell is worth it turn 7, I think. With the exit of our dear friend Dr. Boom, turn 7 is open for just about every class. Being able to get a 7/7 and what is basically a free spell is incredibly valuable. Even playing Chogall + Mortal Coil could be worth it. It's a huge tempo play no matter what. Even with 1 cost spells, the alternative on turn 7 is to play a 6 cost minion with the 1 cost spell. Most of the time, for every health you spend with this card, you're getting at least +1/+1 worth of value out of it just from the body. Not to mention how it can help you get cheap Molten Giants

There has to be some mode to allow people to test out new decks without the fear of losing ranks. I know some people don't care about the rank they end up, but other people do. I'm not going to cry myself to sleep if I don't end up rank 5+, but it is fun to try to get a higher rank. Still, somewhere along the way, I want to try a new idea out... that might not work. That's what casual is for. I don't want to drop several ranks just because I don't play the one or two decks I'm best at.

The more I play this deck the more I like it. Though I'm not laddering with it (doing so with another deck), it has a decent win rate - right around 60% with 30 games played. Above all... it's not the same old same old Druid deck with one of two cards difference. Yes, it can fizzle out if you don't get any of your draw cards, but I've found its far more consistent than I originally expected. I have lost a few games because a Shadowflame, Hellfire or Flamestrike cleared the board before I was could cast Soul of the Forest.
I like that you can confuse your opponent if you play your first few cards right. It can seem like a mill deck, then suddenly you have minions all over the board. I have enjoyed seeing opponents lose cards to a full hand, but that's definitely not the purpose of the deck. Filling your opponent's hand works well with Jeeves. All comes down to how can dump your hand the fastest. I've certainly lost to some face hunters, but beaten some as well.
I'm tempted to sub out one Grove Tender for King Mukla just for a little extra oomph.

I think the deck is a bit "draw dependent" ...and a whole lot of fun to play! One of my problems with Druid is so many of the decks feel all the same, but this one is fresh. It's similar to the Soul of the Forest deck.
I love the use of Grove Tender, Coldlight Oracle and Naturalize. They serve a purpose in the deck with the added bonus of causing your opponent to occasionally burn cards with a full hand.
Thanks for the deck. So far, so great. Looking forward to playing it more.

What if he could kill ANY minion, not just legendary?

Infinite fireballs for the win! Made it down to 1 health before I got the combo, but once I did... E.Z.

Lot of fun to play.
Made two tweaks: Felt the deck needed more draw power, so I swapped out both Shade of Naxxramas for a Cult Master and and Acolyte of Pain. Shades felt a little slow for this deck, plus when you get it to work, Cult Master + Force of Nature is really sweet. Mark of the Wild on the Acolyte of Pain is also very nice.
EDIT: Toying around with Raid Leader in place of the Acolyte of Pain. One good Cult Master play seems to be enough.
I found the deck needed a little more activation power for Dragon Egg and Nerubian Egg, so I cut one Soul of the Forest for a Defender of Argus. I do really like Soul of the Forest in this deck though.
Thanks for the deck idea! Would love to hear what you think about the edits.

I thought about Cenarius as well. My question was would it work well despite there being no Wild Growth or Innervate. You think so?

Have to agree. I've had so much fun playing this deck. So many counters in it. It's so satisfying when you Shadowform for the second time and start hitting for 3.
Great job!

Why does everyone act like the world is about to end when Blizzard makes a change like this? Sure some people hate it, others like it. If changing one card brings about and end of an deck or the end of an era for certain types of decks (which I don't think is the case here, despite some reactions to the contrary), that says to me that deck was pretty gimmicky to begin with.
So, decks will change. Some of my own decks will change. Big deal. People will figure out how to build more effective decks post-nerf - with or without Undertaker, and we all adjust accordingly.
