posted a message on Shadow's Card Forge

I can't find anything "wrong" with these cards so i'm just going to list some thoughts my favorites from each class.

Kael'than Sunstrider- I love this guy and i'm glad you gave him his own card. But, the maximum amount of spell damage you could gain is +4 and he would probably be dead by the next turn so you might not gain the bonuses either way. I like the card but it might need some tweaking
Runed Protector- What this card proposes is a Secret Paladin? Divine Paladin hybrid and that scares me.
Sargeras- Again, great guy who needed his own card. This one sounds really cool and by summoning demons you could potentially get really powerful ones without any of the drawbacks. It's a long term move though and it does require a semi-empty board to maximize its cost but that's still pretty damn cool.
Power Word: Fortitude- Personally, I thought Power Word: Barrier was too strong and while Priest might need an invulnerability card i don't think that's it. However, mass health boost sounds like a good idea and I think that could work out well for defensive Priest decks.
Crimson Vial- This is good because once rogues lose thier health they really have no way of getting it back, they rely on killing thier enemies outright to keep themselves protected and sometimes that doesn't work out. Crimson Vial gives health back and is a combo card, which I love, so good job.
Lei Shen- Lighting bolt may not be a powerful spell and you're looking at -3 mana next turn for 9 extra damage but it does seem like a great way to kill several smaller minions to let Lei Shen go face.
Arch Druid Lilliandra- ...There was only two there and hurricane seemed a little underwhelming. I think I would rather take Starcall.
Eagle Eye- Possible better than Call Pet if you have enough cards so i'm down with that.
Seasoned Duelist- ... I like it better than the other one I guess.
Chained Dragon- You cannot buff this minion. The second you give it a spell it will silence itself and turn into a regular minion. I'm still uncertain whether 5 attack for a 3 cost card is worth it.

I loved pretty much all of these cards and I think you did a great job.

posted a message on Simple Question: Is reaching Legend rank a good indicator to one's skills?

I personally have never been able to get past rank 16 in any month, and I think the biggest contributing factor is that i'm not very good at the game. With time and effort i'm sure I could get closer but i'm pretty sure it won't happen until I "Get Gud" as the kids are saying these days.

posted a message on Karazhan is fun

Just something that I wanted to say after two wings of the Karazhan adventure has been released, regardless of what i thought of the cards before they were released... the expansion is just fun and that's really all that matters.

Every wing in this adventure, from the large scale magic duel between Medivh and Malchezar, to the living chess match, and even a recreation of Romeo and Juliet or The Wizard of Oz to be fun and challenging without feeling overly cheap. In the end, a game's success can be based on how fun it is to play and this adventure definitly fits that criteria; just some food for thought

posted a message on A Dark Recipe - Tavern Brawl #61

This brawl makes you fight against some of the most annoying archetypes the game has: Divine Shield Paladin, Mana Druid, Deathrattle Hunter, etc. I found this really disorienting because, unlike random decks, you only have one strategy and if it doesn't work you are straight fucked.

posted a message on Ysera or Ragnaros?d raf

I honestly like Ragnaros better than Ysera, but they both have thier usefulness. When I crafted Ragnaros i put him in every deck that could support him because i loved him and I find him useful. Now, he can be taken out by the usual removal cards like Shadow Word: DeathBig Game Hunter, and Polymorph but I think it's worth it for that damage whether its face value or taking out a rather strong minion.

    I'd pick Ragnaros over Ysera.

posted a message on I dislike the theme of Karazhan

I don't mind that Karazhan is childish, what I do care about is how disjunct it seems. The way I see it each of the expansions gave us new options to use: Naxxramas gave us Deathrattle and new ways to fuck with our opponent, Blackrock gave us new dragon cards and more damaging spells, and League of Explorers gave us Discover which let us find new and exciting minions and also gave us the infamous Reno Jackson

Karazhan... doesn't seem to be giving us anything new, instead it has a lot of token based monsters and it seems to focus on a little bit of everything and emphasizes a random deck. Also, most of the legendaries aren't that interesting in my mind save for Medivh himself and possible Prince Malzahar; I don't want 1/1 copies of a minion in my deck, I don't want your stupid 1/1 stewardess, and i can't think of a beat, dragon, or Murloc that I want in the same deck. I feel like Blizzard didn't have a lot of great new ideas for this one so they put in a bunch of stuff for us to pick and choose what we really want.

Also, i'm sick of people talking about how meta or non-meta these cards are going to be... you're killing my buzz before the cards even come out.

posted a message on New Warrior Card - Fool's Bane

Okay... wow. I really wanted to build a Weapon based warrior deck and now that this thing has come around I know that I should do it; now only is this a 12 damage weapon (which is very hard to come by) but you can play this and then boost it with Heroic Strike and your opponents minions are super screwed. This is enough to take down a lot of low cost minions but leaves you susceptible to a lot of damage so... I feel pretty good about it.

posted a message on Would appreciate advice on this Scarab Rogue deck

Umm... well I might not be the best person for advice on a deck but it looks pretty solid so far. Just a couple of things I want to point out:

    1. The SI:7 Agent will not work with Brann Bronzebeard because it's ability is a combo, not a Battlecry.
    2. If you're looking for variety in your deck and you want to combo with BronzeBeard I would recommend crafting Nefarian because the extra spells that you can get are usually very useful and it's good for filling up your hand if you're low on cards (which may not be a problem in this deck.)
    3. I think the Summoning Stone is a weird choice for this deck because most of the spells in this deck are 1-2 mana spells which may fill your board up fast, give you less than exemplary minions, and take the space of minions who would have better board presence and synergy with the rest of your deck.
    4. Assassinate is the best instant death card to have for a rogue and fits well with your mana curve.
    5. This is just a personal recommendation: Bronzebeard is a huge target and whenever i see it i try to take it out as quickly as I can so make sure to either keep it well protected or have  backup plan if he dies.

Other than that, this is a solid deck which (while not the most offensive) is definitly versatile and can net you a lot of minions so i think it'll work out great for you. Play a few games with it and if something doesn't seem right, change it.
