Tempo Mage isn't difficult at all, you're just playing a Mirror matchup basically, the deck with the best start will win most of the time. Just be sure to play around the secrets optimally. For example if there is a secret on turn 3, equiping the Bow is safer than playing Huntress (because of the Rune stuff) or Animal Companion (because of Counterspell). Wandering Monster and Cat Trick are awesome traps in this matchup.
Cubelock can be tricky but it's mostly about killing them before they can have Voidlord on board. Adding Spellbreaker / Leeroy instead of Highmane will help a lot in this matchup ;)

There isn't really an optimal change for these matchup, adding Leeroy instead of a Highmane will help slightly to close out some games but that's pretty much it

Yes as suggested in the guide, Explosive or Freezing Trap are perfectly fine here ;)

Venomstrike can easily be swapped out. Actually I often felt like it did a better job than Snake Trap most of the time, was surprising to me.

Flanking Strike is just too good in tempo matchups, would never get rid of it ;)

Well this is indeed a start-reliant deck, as very often with Mid Hunter. I was playing with Alleycat instead of Highmane originally but I found out that I was missing some mid game pressure so I made this swap and it ended up this way, feeling pretty stable. So you can try it for yourself ;)

In this matchup you want to kill before it happens. Otherwise tech in Spellbreaker will just seal the deal (swap Highmane for that, it's not useful in that matchup)

Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed ! I was playing with Alleycat instead of Highmane as well early on, but I found out I was missing some mid game pressure to close out game, so ended up this way. Good to know it worked out well for you :)

I tried it myself, it just doesn't fit because you dump your hand as it comes so you would rarely benefit from its effect. And even then, somewhat underwhelming honestly.
If you desperately wants to do so, go for Highmane but it's far less effective and even less useful than things like Leeroy or Spellbreaker

Honestly you can't really replace these, pretty much core to the deck. Cat Trick very important against Control, but you can try some Explosive Trap / Freezing Trap / Spellbreaker / Leeroy here.
Cloaked Huntress can be replaced by Bearshark then. Can be fine but still less optimal than Cat Trick + Huntress.
DK Rexxar doesn't fit in this aggressive playstyle btw

See comment below : Hydra, Spellbreaker, Leeroy, Bearshark. Find the mix you prefer ;) Corridor is somewhat a key card though, so that will hurt. It's a very safe craft as it can fit every decks so I'd recommend working on crafting this one ;)

Corridor is way better than Giant but if you don't have it why not. I don't see 2 of them fitting though, you're not flooding the board that much. So maybe think about Spellbreaker, Hydra and stuff like that

Not sure how it will perform but this card is a killer against Control so that may hurt =/
Explosive can be good against Aggro though, but still a problem for Control. Just try it this way and see if you want to craft those or not ;)
