I know the achievement point system is basically the same as WoW, but it just sucks seeing all these points accumulating and knowing you can't do shit with them. Like, I don't really care that I played 50 minions with rush, or gave X amount of Silver Hand Recruits Divine Shield. Sure, winning with Yogg is a pretty cool one, and those atleast grant some XP, but these points? They're worthless, so I don't care about my achievements. Why should I?
Keep in mind, I just brainstormed this, math could be off, etc, but anyway.
Why not give us a flat amount of XP per match? Idk, 5% for a win, 2,5% for a loss? Because 40xp per match out of 3000, is fuck all.
That means 20 wins, to reach the next level, not counting losses or quests. Doesn't that seem appropriate?
"But then it won't be a challenge to reach the max level"
Yes it will. You still have to play matches, the ones who play the most just reach it quicker, as it should. You should reward your most dedicated players.
And let's say a game of Hearthstone takes about 10 minutes. To level up once a day, you'd have to play about 3,5 hours. And always win. Again, not counting losses or quests.
And that's a one level PER DAY. That's a lot, considering the reward track is supposed to be across the whole expansion. Cut that in half and you'd have to play 2 hours a day.
And keep in mind, again, each reward track spans over an entire expansion, more than 3 months. This way, both casual and hardcore players will be able to earn the rewards from the reward track.
I mean, Blizzard isn't really known for their consitency... MANY cards have, and still have this issue of same keywords doing different things. For example, the "WHEN you cast" text is sometimes different. And it's not even hard to fix, I'm pretty sure.
Pre-ordered both bundles. I'm happy! :D
Cards like Dark Pact, Preparation, Undertaker and Knife Juggler are all unnerfed. But some cards like Barnes, And Dr. Boom are still nerfed? Doesn't make sense.

It's not like card games are inherently RNG or anything. People have said this game is dead ever since launch. If you don't want to play, then don't.
