The issue with Trogzor is it's very hard to tell if he wins you the game. Yes, his ability doesn't trigger very often - but that's because your opponent is trying desperately not to play a spell, as that will give you huge value. And by not playing a spell at the optimum time, they may lose tempo and ultimately lose the match. You may struggle to link it directly to Trogzor, but he can still win games, even when his ability doesn't trigger once; it's just harder to tell when he's good than with other cards.

wafffles43 posted a message on Gahz'rilla analysisPosted in: General Deck BuildingQuote from plsDontShoot »why would they cap the amount of cards in your deck? why by 60?? ive also heard from others that the game ends on turn 50 by destroying both heroes, even if immune.
Plenty of games have various 'unnecessary' or superfluous constraints as safeguards against unintended loopholes, exploits, etc. For example, some fpshooters have instant-kill regions outside the map, even when the map is completely contained inside walls. "What a waste" you say, until someone finds a tiny hole in the walls and manages to escape the map, only to be mopped up with that "pointless" kill region. When games don't have those safeguards, glitches and exploits can be much bigger and much more annoying problems. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare does not have any sort of "kill players outside the map" redundancy, and the Detroit map was absolutely filled with players who found a way to jump up on top of the building, out of bounds of the map, and shoot down at other players with almost no chance of themselves being killed.

RevutionaryArtillery posted a message on Northshire Cleric players...Posted in: Card DiscussionOk, help me out. I am a golden shaman player and I have always wondered why when priest opens with Northshire Cleric and I open with hero power into Healing Totem, the northshire never taps the Healing Totem. That is a free card for the priests because the Healing Totem will heal itself. Do priests just not recognize it? WHY DON'T PRIEST PLAYERS DO IT?
It has always been a pet peeve of mine.

Remhouse posted a message on which class can be the controliest?Posted in: General DiscussionNot seeing Handlock on your list is making me sad. I hitted Legend 4 times with this amazing control deck.
Not saying it's most ''controlish'' deck out at this moment, but it is still one of the best in this matter, no regard for what the meta is bringing out.
Massive AoE clear, big minions, ways to come back from behind and to actually switch out games with tremendous tempo play (molten giant + taunt).
Handlock is my favorite deck, my point of view may not be the best, but I assume you it's in the top 5 of the control decks of Hearthstone, if not amongst the top 2, with Control Warrior.
Actually, I'm quite sure the best two control decks are Control Warrior and Handlock.
Handlock is amazing, playing a control style with lot of unfair minions (Twilight Drake, Molten Giant, Ancient Giant, Mountain Giant, Lord Jaraxxus)
Control Warrior is just a slow-type that can frustrate the opponent by having access to many ways to control the board at any point of the game (4 removals at 1-mana, Brawl, many weapons, and on).

Very interesting. Still prefer sunwalker to sludgebelcher any-day though.

You ask our opinions, we give them to you. Leeroy is not a dead card, and will continue to be often used. Wait and see what happens, you'll see.

Well, I would have rather Leeroy be made untargetable by spells, but I suppose this works too...

Where is this new nerf rumor that everyone's talking about? What did I miss??
1
No, you probably just assumed that you couldn't attack around it because it had taunt. If you actually tried it, you would see that you actually can attack around it.

I personally really enjoy long control vs control matches. They're my favorite games in Hearthstone.
To each their own, I suppose.

5 mana crystals / 5th season finished * 3 pirate stats = Half Life 3: Scourge of the Seas confirmed?

In 100% pure honesty, Aroblaze, I personally do not foresee Cenarius being changed from here unto the end of all civilization as we know it.

Blizzard never deceived me. They gave me 1) a free game that I can 2) pay to get ahead faster or 3) grind to get competitive without paying anything. Pretty much the same model that every free-to-play game has ever been. Not to mention a million times better than what a regular, cardboard card game is. If you want to play competitive YuGiOh or MTG, you have to pay hundreds of dollars. You can't just grind out a good deck for free.
Blizzard never tried to deceive any of us. If you insist that you were, in fact deceived, then you deceived yourself.
