All I need is your opinion on which one you like better as my last Warrior Common. Path to Glory or Blood Magic? Also, opinions on my new Druid Legendary (post #167).
If only we had Blood Magic during good old Combo Worgen days... Between these two I would go with Path to Glory, as I can see no place for Blood Magic in any Warrior deck.
Okay. I'm going for Phase V (if I make it) full crazy with VooDOOM! New ideas, balance, etc. for the card are welcomed!
Holy shit yes! I would ditch the 1/1s. The problem with Twisting Nether is wiping the board without establishing your own. +1 Mana for getting a bunch of 1/1s seems really powerful to me. But them it would be strictly worse than Twisting Nether without the Voodoo, with I think it's only fair, since with the Voodoo it's insanely strong.
Feedback hugely appreciated, especially on fave/least fave cards!!!! And please let me know if I owe you a review/what # post your set is :)
also omg I have to do a whole third class ahhhhh
Priest
OR
(ignore rarities)
OR
Warlock (UPDATED!!)
OR
Chilling Bolt might be changed to 2 mana deal 2.
yup, sadistic succubus needs a watermark change.
Sinister Mist & Sunfury Eradicator - I think both are strong, especially Sunfury Eradicator, which I consider to be OPAF. Would makes me pic Sinister Mist.
Dejahna & Tyrande - Tyrande, the effect isn't that nice to afford a big clunky card.
Blinding Sun Spirit - Yeah, much better as a 3-mana 3/3 :)
Greater Wind Spirit - Certainly more playable now.
Xavius & Kil'jaeden - I like neither to be honest. There aren't that many nice warlock cards around that make me want to play a 9-mana 6/6. Kil'jaeden just looks as impactful as a Faceless Behemoth.
Chilling Bolt - I like this new version better, more balanced IMO.
Saddistic Succubus - With the new battlecry, I think it can be a 6-drop. A 7-Mana 9/9 is not longer that impressive.
Path to Glory mostly exists because I didn't know what to make and I didn't want all 3 of my Warrior Commons to be minions.
Naturewalker is a card that I just really liked the design.
Severend, Ravenlord gives Druid some AoE (like Fatespinner), and also allows you to specifically draw key Legendaries in your deck.
Path to Glory - I am sure you can come up with something more interesting :p
Naturewalker - I would ditch everything in the parenthesis, weird mechanic.
Severend, Ravenlord - I can only think of Druid running Aya, so the second choose one looks kinda bad to me.
It is unnecessary for every card in a expansion to be "interesting", especially the common. Some cards are made to support certain decks or certain archetypes. There are several cards in each existing expansions that are not interesting but defines the game, such as Stonehill Defender, Bog Creeper (arena), Death's Bite, Ravaging Ghoul. Do you think these cards are failures? I don't think so. I admit that we have to make our example cards as interesting as possible to gain votes, but for non-example cards, simplicity is also an important thing.
Yeah, I agree with you, but Demonxz95's are mostly cool and interacting with the Void Orbs. Some simple cards such as Death's Bite and Stonehill Defender are good and not failures at all. A card such as his/hers Flying Daggers is pretty simple, yet mechanically interesting. Path to Glory just seems too bland to me personally, looking at his/hers set, most of the set is pretty interesting or mechanically pleasing.
This card is absolute PAIN to balance. Hopefully I did okay.
I feel like this is the best thing that makes sense from Hunter's thematics and probably the most fair as well. It being a Chimera also kinda has a Greek mythology theme going on seeing as they also get Underworld Cerberus. This would be a pretty bad roll to get from itself or from Jeweled Macaw (unless you're playing Void Hunter, then it can be amazing!). The art perspective however is very similar to the Cerberus, so that might be a problem.
I do not think it is crazily unbalanced. Some Hunter decks don't even run 2 copies of Jeweled Macaw. But I would change the card tho, make it slightly more aggresive. Maybe a 5/3?
Is it clear that Underworld Cerberus is also supposed to trigger when it's attacked during your opponent's turn, not just when it attacks? Basically Foe Reaper but the effect also works during your opponent's turn.
Yeah, I think it's clear. But I don't think it makes it good enough. I can't see this card supporting any kind of control Deck, specially Hunter. Reall would make it cost at most 5 mana
For some people, their joke card is a Rager, just for fun. For other people, their joke card is a Giant, for competitive play.
Me?
I USE WISPS Y'ALL.
Unfortunately I don't see it as a meme card, lol. I think this is actually decent. It's only worse than Innevate if you want to combo Innervate and Gadgetzan Auctioneer. Just checking, the battlecry would trigger first, then the stabilize, right? Seems to be the pattern with the other Stabilize cards.
