Countess Ashmore won't be played in any Tier 1 decks.

Shudderwock is really powerful, but it won't bring Shaman back from the dead yet.

Quest Hunter and Odd Quest Warrior will both be Tier 2 decks.

    Rebuke won't see play.

    Glinda Crowskin will break wild.

Dollmaster Dorian will se no play whatsoever.

Aggro players will have to tech something to counter Witchwood Grizzly.

If Midrange decks are viable, Rotten Applebaum will see play.

Marsh Drake won't se play in standard.

Shudderwock isnt that good its a very complex deck that can easily be countered with Dirty Rat, so if sudderwock becomes popular the rats will become popular too. Mage quest still an otk and people doesnt play it too much.

    Dirty Rat  is rotating, mate

posted a message on Dire Brood - Wild Quest Hunter

Firstly, that's an amazing guide. I really appreciate your effort on it.

I really would like to try a deck like this, because it looks fun and potentially better than previous Quest Hunter decks. But I don't think the meta will allow this Midrange-ish deck. Midrange decks have now to pass the Voidlord Test. Can this X midrange deck pressure Control/Cube warlock enough before it plays and ressurrects Voidlord or can it deal with all of them? The only Midrange deck I think that passes the Voidlord Test right now is Spiteful/Combo Priest. This deck can't really pressure enough during the early game, 1-drops are easily detroyed by Defile or Hellfire, and during the late game it can pass through the waves of Voidlords efficiently.

That's sad, I really want this deck to succed, but I think Voidlord won't let that happen.

Do you have any thoughts on how this deck would win against Control/Cubelock?

posted a message on [POLL] The most hated card in Hearthstone history

I don't hate most of the cards you listed... If I were to make a top 10:

    1. Yogg-Saron, Hope's End - I loathed the pre-nerf version and I ain't really fond of the post-nerf Yogg. It is so frustating to be completely destroyed by Yogg. It does not happen that often, but when it does happen it is such a helpless scenario. You have had complete control of the game the whole game, you're about to win. Then your opponent plays the Hail Mary, i.e. Yogg and it completely destroys your board, deals damage to your face, draws cards for your enemy, restores him a lot of health and makes him a board. It was fun to watch Trolden clips, but awful to face it.

    2. Undertaker (Pre-nerf) - That was a long time ago. But undertaker was a big problem. If the enemy plays it on turn 1 and you have no answer immediately, your chance of winning the game just got really low. It would snowball fast and, as it could be played as soon as turn 1, most classes had no way to deal with it before it was too late.

    3. Starving Buzzard (Pre-nerf) - Oh my... The patch that nerfed the 2-mana 2/1 Starving Buzzard as well as Leeroy was what I consider to be one of the most deserved patches thus far. The old Buzzard was such a card draw powerhouse.

    4. Voidlord - I am actually surprised that this card isn't on the poll. I don't hate Voidlord itself, but the abilities to cheat-summon it early on and to ressurrect him over and over again are really impactful on the meta. I know the meta is a complex thing and we can't really say "If not for this card... the meta would be like...". But I reckon Voidlord IS (and will be) what killed Midrange decks. I don't hate playing against it, because I play decks that are equipped with tools to deal with it (as long as you draw them soon enough), but I hate the impact it has on the meta.

    5. Leeroy Jenkins (Pre-nerf) - Leeroy is one of the best legendarys at the moment, now imagine it when the game had way less powercreep and it costed 4 mana. Pre-nerf Leeroy was INSANE.

    6. Patches the Pirate (Pre-nerf) - Extremely powerful in aggro and token decks.

    7. Gadgetzan Auctioneer (Pre-nerf) - Before GvG, Auctioneer used to cost only 5 mana. That made the whole miracle engine way easier to get started.

    8. Ice Block - Usually the cards I hate are cards that either you can't deal with them effectively or soon enough. My problem with Ice Block is the former, the only neutral secrets counter is Eater of Secrets, such a bad tech card that it wasn't played in the Secret Paladin meta. Without any efficient counterplay, Ice Block is just too uninteractive to play against.

    9. Flamewaker - A card with potential to win you games completely at random.

    10. Flamewreathed Faceless - They introduced it in the same patch they nerfed Big Game Hunter. That's my problem with the 4-mana 7/7. Most classes couldn't deal with a threat that big as soon as turn 4 for a while.

Honorable Mentions: Corridor Creeper, Shielded Minibot, Raza the Chained (Pre-nerf), Tunnel Trogg, Spirit Claws (Pre-nerf), Warsong Commander (Pre-nerf), Mad Scientist, Mysterious Challenger and Mana Wyrm.

I usually hate cards that you either can't play against at all, effectively or soon enough. Most of the cards in the poll don't fit in these categories.

    Noob question i'm sure:

How do you get access to the wild adventures ?
I started playing the game 2 month ago so have only access to standard packs/cards at the moment.
But recently I have "unlocked" the option to choose wild format when i play on ladder.

Should that not give access to wild cards and adventures ?

     You pay 700 per wing.

I think Mire Keeper is worth mentioning as well since it does a real good job for ramp druids.

I did consider it, but it is quite out of the limelight in the current meta

You forgot Netherspite Historian. I don't think we see allot of dragons in the year of the Raven.

Warriors not losing much but they will need some love nevertheless.

It's in the Neutral cards section, it will surely be missed. I love that card.
    Quote from EverBrawl >>

I see you put effort in that list, but I really disagree with the following cards being included in the meme list: Devolve and Firelands Portal are top tier cards and their place is not anywhere near meme cards. Same goes for Evolve which alone brought a new shaman archetype. 4 mana 7/7 was the bomb during shamanstone. Yogg wins games out of thin air and he was nerfed for a reason. Babbling Book, Swashburglar and Medivh, the Guardian are great cards and used in a lot of meta decks. Bomb Squad is a fantastic arena card. I can't see why is Shaku included as well.

You missed the point of the "Meme cards" a bit xD
@VirginMinion point hit the mark. Good cards can be meme cards. Just watch channels such as Trolden and you will see some great moments created by these cards. Kripp had a really great moment with Firelands Portal recently for example, check this video later, really funny:

posted a message on Impactful Cards Leaving Standard (+Meme-ful Cards)

With the Year of the Raven cards form the following sets will be rotated to wild:

    • One Night in Karazhan
    • Whispers of the Old Gods
    • Mean Streets of Gadgetzan

I list what I consider to be the impactful cards present in Tier 1 and Tier 2 as well as some cards that are not really in Tier 1 and Tier 2 decks at the moment but are quite impactful themselves. If you have any different thoughts or want to add some Arena insight, comment below :)

    DRUID:

The Mean Streets of Gadgetzan rotation is really harsh on Druids, the Jade Mechanic is finally fading for better or worse.

    HUNTER:

Not many impactful cards are leaving Hunter, but I consider Hunter was already missing impactful cards prior to the rotation

    MAGE:

Mage is going to lose a lot of the core cards in the modern Tempo Mage.

     PALADIN:

Stand Against Darkness was a trash-tier card for so long, it's sort of sad to see a card that finally claimed its spot on a Tier 1 deck go away so soon.

     PRIEST:

I see the cards taht will soon rotate and I remember the state Priest was before Mean Streets of Gadgetzan...

    ROGUE:

Rogue isn't going to lose a lot considering it is at most a Tier-3-Class at moment... Poor Valeera D:

    SHAMAN:

It's quite funny that the INFAMOUS 4-MANA 7/7 isn't fit for the list...

     WARLOCK:

I think Kazakus and Abyssal Enforcer even though not really present in Tier 1 and 2 decks were impactful cards that will be missed by Warlocks.

     WARRIOR:

When Pirate Warrior became trash. So did warrior itself. Just as Rogue and Shaman, even though it has no Tier 1 or 2 decks, these cards will be missed:

     NEUTRAL:

MEME CARDS THAT WILL BE MISSED:
