Why not make a Casual and a "Pro" version where Casual is free and Pro is 50-100G entry fee with the top 4 getting rewards like arena? Will definitely drive a lot more hype that way, and people who just want to play for fun won't be forced into paying gold

Starlk posted a message on Hearthstone Battlegrounds - How Do They Work?Posted in: NewsI mean yea its fun but when u are winning there should be atleast something to cheer about, for me would be better some small entry price like 50 Gold and Reward shared for top 4 or like in Rank mode - at the end of the month some rewards depended on ur Battlegrounds rating. No need it to be some huge rewards, i mean atleast something - its rly important and if staff in blizzard cant understand this little psychological thing than we are fcked up ...

Twitchy posted a message on Hearthstone Battlegrounds - How Do They Work?Posted in: NewsNo rewards... I know we always get shit for "asking for free stuff", but just a simple goal or motivation to play would seem pretty fair? Even a simple yet satisfying ranking system could do the job.

VonBarbhoul posted a message on Hearthstone Battlegrounds - How Do They Work?Posted in: NewsHum... What's the point of this mode ? If i wanna play autobattle then i'm gonna play TFT or something else but there's no way I'd go for some submode in a CARDgame... And there's not even a single reward for the real Hearthstone in the end ? At this point, even if it IS fun there's no concrete reasons to play it more than a few times
Feels like a waste of funds and it's a shame because there is still many ways Hearthstone could be improved.

Tandem21 posted a message on Hearthstone Battlegrounds - How Do They Work?Posted in: NewsWeird that there’s no reward while changing tacticts costs (albeit minimal) amounts of gold... but this can stack up to a quick gold drain over several games.
so yeah I’ll play this once or so, but where’s the incentive?

Here's my take.
Legends of Runeterra looks and feels like it was developed from the start to be a mobile game, there are a few tooltips and descriptions of cards and mechanics that desperately need to be ironed out (which is what a beta is for), it also feels very uninspired, most if not all of it's mechanics are taken from other games.
I will say however that Legends of Runeterra made me incredibly angry, angry at Blizzard and the current state of Hearthstone. Legends of Runeterra has such amazing systems in place, an amazing tutorial with actual rewards, faction loyalty rewards and an amazing monetization system. While Hearthstone only has packs for purchase, a weekly brawl for 1 pack and maybe some events that aren't set in stone.
Blizzard needs to take notes and they need to stop bending over for that china money.

Anything for that Chinese cash.
Blizzard aren't even a shadow of their former self. The sooner the company sinks, the better.

There's this little thing called punctuation. Also sentence structure and lets not forget paragraphs (just because you can write the entire post in a single block doesn't mean you should). Maybe more people would listen and take you seriously if you didn't write like an 11 year old that just found out what curse words are.
Also effects like discover are the sole reason why this game is still even a thing, it gives players who can't afford the good cards a chance to play with them and it gives players that might not understand what the game mechanics are a chance at victory. It also makes so every single game doesn't play out exactly the same. I honestly don't know why you're here if you despise the game so much. Go play mtga or yugioh if you want a boring, bland and "skill" intensive card game then.

opened 46 packs (3 from previous brawls + 3 for login quest)
I know these are actually good rewards (rogue quest especially), but I'm really not interested in them at all, except maybe the Druid quest for some OTK shenanigans.
owell at least I got all the Common cards and about 95% of the set's Rare cards.

Then maybe you aren't seeing what this guy is saying? Calling people clueless for seeing the advantages of versatility is really moronic.
Also there's no denying that these reno decks will be overshadowed by whatever aggro flavour of the month deck comes out next, but there's this little thing called "fun". A lot of people seem to have forgotten that this is a children's card game.

ssshhhhh I only played the quest deck while it was in standard, was some of the most fun I've ever had in this game along with pre-nerf Raza Priest. Though we can all agree the deck was really bad when it first came out... Galvadon the last Kaleidosaur, he has stealth and a whole lot more...

Best fucking advice in the entire post. Jesus how people worship every word he speaks is simply daunting. I do agree with the other points in your post as well, just look at Solem (wild youtuber), he's currently building a lot of Reno Decks and is finding success with a lot of them.
I will say that bomb warrior absolutely destroys most of these decks unless there is a way to tutor for them. Paladin has a way with Call to Adventure (if Finley is the lowest), hopefully we get a "Destroy all duplicates" card this expansion as well.

Dear Lord, this is nice change of pace from the meme that was The Last Kaleidosaur.

You're right, mage is sitting in a good spot right now. Let's not forget that in Wild, Mage already has access to Kazakus and Inkmaster Solia. Having another strong Reno card would push the class beyond it's other reno competitors.
