Displayingaccount posted a message on Legendary Tier List & Crafting GuidePosted in: Card DiscussionBru'kan should be promoted to Tier 1, 2 or 3 since elemental shaman is a tier 2 deck at the moment.
Inara Stormcrash to tier 1. Doom shaman is nuts at the moment
Zixor, Apex Predator, and Keli'dan the Breaker should go to Tier 4 or possibly 5 since they don't seem to see play.
Murgur Murgurgle paladin's power has been weakened severely and this card isn't that strong that it used to be. Tier 2 or possibly a 3
Death Speaker Blackthorn should be a tier 1 because big and deathrattle dh is now a thing and those decks are nuts
Tickatus to tier 3. Warlock isn't good in this meta but it might stay where it is.
Archdruid Naralex to tier 1 since it's a great card played in a huge variety of strong decks
Besides that keep up the good work, the guide is very helpful :D

Avaidaocu posted a message on VS Report is WRONG, Control Warrior is Legit!Posted in: General DiscussionThe VS Data Reaper Report #198 is out and im very disappointed at how people are seeing CW as bad, which is far from the truth. Got legend this month with a list of my own:
Wailling Control Warrior (62% winrate to Legend) Unknown Deck by Avaidaocu - Jun 10, 2021Minion (14) - 1x Archdruid Naralex
- 1x Kargath Bladefist
- 1x Kresh, Lord of Turtling
- 1x Lord Barov
- 1x Rattlegore
- 1x Silas Darkmoon
- 1x Taelan Fordring
- 1x Faceless Manipulator
- 2x Armor Vendor
- 2x Shieldmaiden
- 2x Venomous Scorpid
Ability (13) - 2x Bladestorm
- 2x Brawl
- 2x Rancor
- 2x Shield Slam
- 1x Coerce
- 1x Corsair Cache
- 1x Cutting Class
- 2x Slam
Weapon (3) Loading Collection The stats and proof are attached. Started recording at Diamond 3 but was playing with it and testing since 5! People are just having a hard time figuring out a working list, too many crappy lists being netdecked on youtube! A couple notes:
1. C'thun SUCKS! DO NOT PLAY C'THUN IN WARRIOR, EVER. It doesnt improve your control matchups at all, ppl just throw crap at the board to soak most of the dmg, screws your other matchups, overall not worth it.
2. The Silas OTK is ok, but mediocre. It only rly matters against Priest and even then I didnt need it, as shown in my stats. Theres a much faster way to win control matchups. EDIT: it is much better at Legend since the meta there is always slower, feel free to switch Naralex for Ashtongue then. For the climb, the current list is better still.
3. DOUBLE RATTLEGORE. Yep, thats the stuff. Play your big boi on 9, Faceless it on 10, watch your opponent panic throwing their kitchen sink at them! Priest used Soul Mirror? Steal their copy with Silas! Thanks buddy! Tutor your big boi with Taelan, run a bunch of card draw to get Faceless, worked very consistenly, even in other non-control matchups.
4. This list farms Face Hunter and Elemental Shaman very easily, which are the most common lists ppl are using to get Legend. Doom Shaman and DR DH are tricky, but winnable. All control matchups are coin flips: if their Mutanus chomp your Rattlegore or Faceless you lose, if it doesnt you win.
Hope this helps my fellow warrior players out there. Control is a solid tier 2, nothing stellar, but also not a "failed experiment" as says the report! Thanks in advance!

BravoTeam posted a message on Archdruid Naralex's RNG is Rigged?Posted in: General Discussionits nice to see someone like 3nnu1, i always think that everything its rigged in HS , its logic and its common sense, no company will rely on luck his incomes, they need a 50% winrate to maintain everyone happy and playing (and paying)
When you're right you're right. They do have a system which keeps everyone at 50% winrate. It's this big secret, so make sure you don't leak it, or the Blizz police may come knocking on my door: It's called MMR. It stands for Match Making Rating, and it's a number which roughly tracks your skill. They match you with people of a similar number, so that if you're good your opponents are also good and they're more likely to beat you. When you're at the correct MMR for you, your opponents should be of equal skill to you, and your winrate is at 50%. It's a fiendishly clever way of not needing to do all the complicated work of programing rigged RNG into every card.
As for your Felmaw streak - that is actually some data, and pretty suspicious data at that. Legitimately, good job, this is the best argument I've seen for the rigged RNG hypothesis. That said, I'd love some proof of this data, because it's truly extraordinary - the probability of it is one in several hundred billion. If the RNG for Felmaw was this heavily rigged it would be impossible for people not to notice - I've had Felmaw hit a single minion a few times, and I've played a little less than a hundred billion games where a Felmaw was up against one minion, for instance - which casts shade on the authenticity of the data. I'd be probably willing to take something that doesn't have such astronomically low odds of happening (and thus doesn't clearly prove your point) at face value more than this. It still wouldn't be definitive proof of anything because of the usual problems with stuff like this on forums - small sample size, a lack of control groups, possibly counting only the hits and ignoring the misses - but it would be enough for me to not see the conspiracy position as based on literally nothing.

Lycaon55 posted a message on At last a healthy meta!Posted in: General DiscussionSome of you seem just to rely on their personal experience to judge if the meta is healthy or not. Statistics is the way to go. On Hsreplay and Hearthstone Meta stats you get at least 7 classes out of 10 having decks with decent win rates enabling them to reach Legend.
That has nothing to do with how frequently you are matched with certain decks, it's more a question of the popularity of the decks per rank.
The fact that 7 classes out of 10 are in the top decks is good and can be qualified as diverse. You can argue about aggro vs control decks that's another question.

Kinkyjohnfowler posted a message on Archdruid Naralex's RNG is Rigged?Posted in: General DiscussionThat's strange because me and my friend carried out the same experiment, I'm currently on a 118 streak of Felmaw hitting a minion. which is odd because in 89 of those cases there wasn't even another minion on board.

Good post, thank you!
It is also obvious that the text on Unbound Elemental was made before conditional overload was considered an option.
Updating more cards retroactively would not hurt, especially for cards in the Core set.

Updates for the Wild section, all the cards are now in the guide!
The Amazing Reno To tier 3
Ysera, Unleashed To tier 3
The Fist of Ra-den To tier 4
Sky Gen'ral Kragg To tier 4
Grand Lackey Erkh To tier 5
Galakrond, the Wretched To tier 5
Brightwing Removed from the Wild section.
Taelan Fordring Tier 2 to 1
Lothraxion the Redeemed Tier 1 to 2
Valeera the Hollow Tier 4 to 2
Jandice Barov Tier 1 to 3
Valdris Felgorge Tier 2 to 3
Boommaster Flark Tier 3 to 4
The Storm Bringer Tier 2 to 4
Feedback appreciated as always!
1
Yup, you are right, thank you.
Tirion Fordring Tier 1 to 3
I'll check the others soon.
1
Thanks!
Inara Stormcrash Tier 2 to 3
Murgur Murgurgle Tier 1 to 2
High Exarch Yrel Tier 1 to 3
High Abbess Alura Tier 1 to 4
Ace Hunter Kreen stays in tier 2, as his winrate seems to be improving, and his flexibility makes him a better craft, even if the decks he is used in are viable without him.
1
Updates for the Standard section, more cards which have seen very little play and seem weak over all have started to find their way into tier 5.
The Nameless One Tier 4 to 3
Kiri, Chosen of Elune Tier 4 to 5
Disciplinarian Gandling Tier 4 to 5
Ysiel Windsinger Tier 4 to 5
Al'ar Tier 4 to 3
Also some text updates in tier 4 to better reflect the current decks, the effected cards are marked with * even though they have not changed tiers.
For classic:
King Mukla Tier 3 to 2
2
I see a big fat "Overload" on it. For other interactions, it does not matter if the feature is chosen or discovered.
What about Tunnel Trogg?
?
I know the wording is slightly different, but they should trigger the same way. "Whenever you overload mana crystals" would remove any doubt.

Sounds like one of many bugs this patch.

The best thing to say about this brawl is it reminded me Unidentified Maul is a card, but having 3 of them in hand is not very fun.
But I won
with slip-slop-slap,
one and done,
the pack was crap.
1
That was a very good idea, they have not done well after the rotation:
Speaker Gidra Tier 2 to 3
Lothraxion the Redeemed Tier 2 to 4
Grand Totem Eys'or Tier 2 to 4
Thanks!

Updated the list to reflect the upcoming changes. I am not sure which cards will benefit indirectly from the buffs, if any.
Also, for the Classic section:
King Mukla Tier 4 to 3
