Kovachut posted a message on PAX' Elemental ShamanPosted in: PAX' Elemental Shaman1) I think what Slvrshot says, is true - your deck would profit from Spirit Echo, because you can refill your hand and you will almost always keep the chain going; I would also suggest adding a second Mana Tide Totem in there too [though it is possible, that Spirit Echo can slow you down, it is used more often in value decks];
2) do you want to hear an interesting thought? - use Master of Evolution instead of the 4 mana 7/7 and i'm not joking:
In the previous versions of my hybrid anti-aggro deck, I used him, because he filled the 4 mana curve pretty well - I figured Flamewreathed Faceless punished me pretty hard with the overload. Master of Evolution, at least for me, was really a strong card pick, because at his worst he was a Chillwind Yeti (which isn't bad for its mana cost) and because the elementals are expensive, I could cheese in a strong unit from a damaged minion; I would suggest this, if you want to stick to the aggressor's role
[because i was looking at the curve of your deck and i was thinking what you would play after being overloaded for 2; with this change you still won't be able to play an activated Servant of Kalimos, but i believe with this minion you have better options with full mana crystals;
this and normally 4 mana 7/7 is good in the early game, not so good in the late, whereas master's effect scales with the time]that or I would suggest having Jinyu Waterspeakers instead of the 4 mana 7/7 so that you can heal your board/face [and this deck relies on the board to win]
3) tbh even as an anti-aggro deck, aka control, i hardly ever find a good target for the second Hex, you could cut it for something else [most of the meta decks rely on a big board, so Hex doesn't do much, having 2 copies of Devolve is more than enough]
4) dunno, why not return the flametongues, they work so well with cheap minions (Fire Fly, tokens from Maelstrom Portal, Stonehill Defender, Fire Plume Harbinger, Stone Sentinel)
edit: let me know what you think and I would suggest to try some of these tips in casual (in a copied version of your deck)

mamie posted a message on 1 Day to Legend Keleseth Rogue (61% W)Posted in: 1 Day to Legend Keleseth Rogue (61% W)I tried it, but I'm not conviced. It requires to draw Keleseth early to be competitive. I observed many problem with this decklist:
- No AoE like Fan of Knives to compete against zoolock, paladin token & co.
- Very sensitive to silence effect, since your MVPs are Edwin VanCleef and Hench-Clan Thug.
- No comeback in general like Vanish
- Can be stopped by opponents playing (big) taunts like druid.
I do not tell that the deck is garbage, sometimes you win, but I've serious doubts with the title "Legend in one day"...

Posted in: Crow MageGood deck. But I don't like Archmage Antonidas here, he is too late, he is useless after Aluneth, all token-spells are spending to get value from Vex Crow and Mana Wyrm. Replaced him by Ghastly Conjurer and thinking about adding the second one.

buttercuppers posted a message on TFT- LEGEND Control EvolutionPosted in: TFT- LEGEND Control EvolutionI wished this deck worked, but it's too slow in ranked. Most people have early minions and are building up their board before you can make a presence. It's so aggravating when you get a lousy mulligan and just have to wait till you have enough mana, which is usually the case. Thanks for sharing. Good luck.

It's very slow. I've had more success with the Secret version of Naga Sand Witch 20 deck. Early game Mage is very vulnerable.

According to HSReplay the Highlander variant is a tier 3 deck. The nerds to Conjurers Call was a huge blow. I think they could have made LPG a 6 mana card instead of going right back to making it unplayable. The secret package is still not great and often not worth playing. Cards that could be like Janailai or Malacrass are either too slow or too expensive. We have no good one drops....no reliable ways to heal, defend, or stack armor...What is a Mage player supposed to do in Standard?

This is a really old deck with the added Masked Contender

Add tess and cauldron for more fun

Nothing unique about this deck

Bullshit

The secret package is kind of weak right now. I don’t see a point in having it in this deck. It would be one thing if it had Ice Block but this doesn’t, so you’re left with some the weaker secrets like Frozen Clone [/card] and [card]Vaporize which rarely see play. I think this deck is far weaker than the Kobold's Secret Mage. Also there is no way to shut off the Aluneth 3 card draw, like we had withMedivh, so in longer matches you will fatigue. I was already at rank 10 before the new expansion and can't seem to get pass rank 9.
I think it makes more sense to run an aggressive Elemental Crow package, with minimal spells but cards with Battlecries that can get you spells or pull out spells like Raven Familiar. As it stands now the secret package hybrid decks are probably at best a Tier 3 borderline 2 deck.

could you tell us a better mage deck?

I like that Master of Evolution idea....Hmmm.
