posted a message on Why are people conceding at turn 5 or below when facing my freeze mage?

Because most people in this game are just playing casually for fun, even in ranked their rank is just something secondary to care about. There is literally nothing less fun in Hearthstone than playing against freeze mage, they stop you from playing the game for 12 turns then point click on your hero with spells and win without any counterplay.

If you are playing a deck with heals/armor gain, then you can win. If not there is no point in even wasting time.

posted a message on Dog's Deathrattle Rogue

Played a ton of this last night and today, climbed from rank 15 to rank 6 currently. Seems really cool but lacking in single target removal and draw in long games. I made some changes listed below to be better against the endless control C'thun/Reno and new shaman decks.

    - 1 Sap - Good for tempo swings, but against control sometimes the value loss hurts you more than it helps.

    - Edwin VanCleef - Seems bad in a heavier, minion-based deck like this.

    - Xaril, Poisoned Mind - I honestly just don't have the card, but it doesn't seem that important either.

    - 1 Shadowcaster - Strong but situational.

    - Loot Hoarder and Earthen Ring Farseer - replaced the draw with another FoK, Farseer is just opinion I actually think it's a good addition if you lack another one of the cards.

    Added in:

+ 2nd Fan of Knives - Imo needed badly against the shaman matchup.

    + 1 Shadow Strike, 1 Assassinate, 1 Sprint - all 3 help a ton against control decks.

+ x2 Tomb Pillager -  just a solid card, essentially a 3 cost 5/4 in terms of overall value, synergizes nicely with Nzoth and shifts the curve a little higher.

If aggro becomes prevalent again I'm sure some of these changes would have to be reverted but currently this list is doing extremely well.

Obviously a bad card to include in your deck, but I think getting it out of dark peddler while playing zoo in some situations would be an excellent E-SPORTS moment. Right after Implosion, or with haunted creepers ready to trade on board, I think those situations are fairly common for zoo.

I really want this card to be good, but I think even if control rogue was a thing, I doubt this card would be good enough to be included. Spending your entire 10 mana turns throwing out a 4 HP minion that doesn't do anything immediately is just terrible.

Buffs would be needed for it be good (not that I think Blizzard will EVER buff bad cards), but could be something like:

    1) Giving it more health, 8/6 maybe?

    or

    2) Making it cost less each time it gets returned to your hand. (I like this idea much more.)

posted a message on Why is rogue so bad still?

Huge reliance on drawing Sprint at the right times, high chance of having a clogged, useless hand because of so many combo/reactive spells and no minions, lack of strong class minions in general.

Oil rogue has always had a lot of little issues, but with other top tier decks being continually refined and improved through new cards from GvG to TGT (while rogue stayed the same), these problems are becoming more and more apparent.

Deck just feels way too unreliable these days.

Imo much more aggro on ladder, face hunter is still alive and well on ladder despite seeing much less tournament play.

Just tried to make a reliable, powerful but balanced minion that doesn't rely on combo to be useful. Rogue needs more solid minions than just SI:7.
