Your thesis says, that you would get golden legendarys only, once you have all legendarys from the expansion, which is not true.

Unfortunately, the quest is too slow in the current meta.

But here's the Discolock that I'm playing on Rank 1 and having good fun and succes with.

You go face with this deck most of the time and it steamrolls almost everything with it's raw power and card draw through the new Hand of Gul'dan, which I LOVE!

Just mulligan for 1 & 2 drops (apart from soulfire). You can keep Frenzied Felwing and Hand of Gul'dan too (especially vs. Control)

I play hs since open Beta and always had fun playing it.

I play mostly wild (R1 atm on my way to legend playing mostly Cubelock, Quest Mage and the new Discardlock) but standard too (about 70% wild 30% standard I'd say)

Would you recommend switching void lords in for that matchup?

I'm even thinking about running loatheb... what do u think about that?

Besides that, really nice deck!

My former list included Snake eggs for early game, against aggro and for Teron interaction but I guess Sense Demons is better atm.

If you run the dr package you might think about the cube package too (cube + doomguard)

I'd cut dreadlord & shadowflame for that.

And why the hell wouldn't you run Dragonqueen Alex?? :D

Besides that it seems like a nice tier 2 deck.

Can't compete with the updated Cubelock.

Why no quest with Plottwist x2 and all the draw?

I've always disliked the high draw dependance of darkast hour Warlock but it's undeniably a strong deck to ladder with because most decks can't counter the combo of it as it is mentoined here.

Edit: why no Ragnaros in this deck?

 I had this idea too and really like it!

In my opinion counterfeit coin & 2x sabotage isnt necessary (1 is enough), plague of madness is just a bad card in my opinion

Zilliax is a must vs aggro

And a little more draw would be nice (novice engi, shiv)

I also thought about adding a deathrattle package ( 2x necrium apothecary, 2x necrium blade, 2x deranged doctor)

As a mecha thun player I gotta say: Really nice deck!

Surprisingly fast for Mecha thun deckand plague of flames is really op in this one

But I still can't decide between this one and the one with Voidcaller, Voidlord and Gul 'Dan, which is more control-ish
