These results don't mean anything in the grand scheme of things.

    Never going to happen

We don't know that haha. Some day they'll add something like this for sure. But it may not be soon, as we know f2p players are not high on their priority list.

^ Can you double click on your phone? If yes, then it is another possibility.

Try coming up with a business case for the feature.
I have done exactly this - I made a poll to estimate the percent of users who would want this. Let's say this poll is not accurate and the real percent is 4 times smaller than this in the results. We still end up with 10% and more users who would want this. So it is pretty much a needed change, which pays off over time.

I think that's rather a very small minority.
Let's see then how small is justified a 40 hours Team 5 time? I'd say 0.01% is more than ok (and players who would want this are much more). Remember that such change is a future investment. It slowly pays off with time - for example "My collection" button to skip the "back - menu" iteration - very tiny qol change, which is already paying off.

I'd estimate your feature would take at least 40 working hours to create.
I'd say it is totally fine since it will boost the overall players' time in-game by a lot. Just as a better ladder system would, which already should have been here.

Any "simple" change is not easy because Hearthstone is on multiple platforms.

I disagree, right click or pause/resume tick (like the "X" for left click quest re-roll) is easy-to-implement 1 hour work of a programmer and designer.

Yes, I agree, we don't miss that much more, but still for a f2p player this easy to implement qol change would be very nice.

Would be good if we had the option to pause/resume daily quests.

As a f2p player I often tend to skip the 40g quests waiting to re-roll them the next day. This potentially means I skip the opportunity to play with 2 classes, which in turn may lower my overall play time during the day. A possibility to pause/resume daily quests through right clicking on them would solve this.

    Positive sides:
    - More gold from quests
    - More control over quests
    - More overall play time

posted a message on Cards I think should be rotated out of Standard

I'd say balancing is the way to go. If not a good balance is possible bring the card to wild.

And I am pretty happy with such a decision from the devs. There is nothing more boring than seeing year after year the turn 2 warrior play Fiery War Axe or the 6 mana drop Highmane from hunter. If the HS team tracks percentages of how often these two are played on their turn it should be more than 95% when the player has them in the hand.

Keep standard fresh no matter how!

Also, patch the 0 mana 1/1 charge with battlecry draw a card, oh I mean patches the pirate! Do we have to see the same turn 1 for so many classes during the next 2 years, c'mon!

posted a message on BWC2016: Finals! - DrHippi v.s. Pavel

    Gz to Pavel!

He was also my pick. He got lucky, but the tournament format is not build around that. It's build around entertainment thus the structure of the tournament. If we had 1 big group with 100+ matches this would lower the variance, but also it would lower the entertainment value. And in such format Pavel would surely rank in top 3, so getting lucky doesn't mean he doesn't deserve the title.

The only thing I didn't like about his play is he sometimes played too fast, and when you play too fast you give information about your cards, but I'm noone to tell him about that, in the end it doesn't matter anymore.

Yep, that is the downside of playing fast. The plus however is that you put pressure on your opponent  and when he tries to match your tempo he can make mistakes (JasonZhou VanCleef misplay). You can also make misplays (Pavel last year vs Lifecoach). So on theory if both players play optimal (no mistakes, tilt etc) you should wait the same amount of time at every turn to not give information away. But if that is not the case, you can put pressure on your opponent by playing exploitative. These are concepts from poker and there they apply on much stronger level.
Once again, gz to Pavel, toughest Blizzcon field until now! He managed to conquer it!

Are you experimenting with AI? If so, do you think AI will be able to beat the top HS players in 5, 10, 20 years from now?

My first question got answered right at the Blizzcon Opening ceremony. They are already experimenting with AI for SC2!
