posted a message on Frozen Throne Mage, Paladin, and Warlock Legendary Death Knight Leaks!

I hate to break it to you guys, but if you look at the card art for more than half a second, you can see that her outfit is really close to the trailer. The pauldrons, the chest piece, even the gems around her head. You can claim it's fake all you want but this is still original art we haven't seen before.

Except you're missing a major point, dude.

The white lock in her hair is bright violet in the trailer. There is no such lock in the linked "leak".

The damage on her face is also missing, the crest on her chest is different, and the top of the skull at her belt is wrong, as is the necklace she's wearing.

They obviously took some "Lich Queen Jaina" fanart and made a fake card/set of shit from it.

This is also supported by the fact that the card behind it has text on it, which does not show any other time Blizz has three cards like that;  and of course the fact that it's a computer-based phone emulator.
And that's not taking into account the fact that this account is obv someone's throwaway for retweeting contests, and that nobody else in the world has been able to access this supposedly early... ad? That's fullpage and three tabs for some reason?

Playing that much in general is unusual, as someone who buys packs for real money would also theoretically have a job and not have time to play that much. But I suppose I am assuming there, so I'll take that as truth, as it doesn't matter that much.

But besides that, that also means that the majority of your games were pre-patch, so clearly there cannot have been a change this patch (as it only dropped on the 10th). You would have hit 34 packs before the patch if you did not open ANY arena rewards until the last 8 days, which seems unlikely.

The only thing I can think is that possibly the addition of the new 10-pack pity timer for new sets reset the existing one if you got super unlucky and were at the very end of that 40. But if it really had been changed on purpose, #1 why would they add a new pity timer and remove the old one, and #2 why are there only two people who have noticed? Logically, there should be dozens if not hundreds of people with the same issue. But there aren't, there are no posts on official forums, there's you and one other guy here, and the one you linked to on Reddit. I don't mean to be rude or anything but it seems pretty obvious that the issue isn't the game, it's either that you were opening packs too fast and didn't notice, or that you got a dupe and dusted it and forgot, or like I said, that you actually pulled that leg later than you thought you did.

I will say that if it isn't user error, it is most likely that the changes just reset the timer by accident, but I highly, highly doubt they would remove/edit the pity timer as there's no reason for them to do so.
Playing an average of 2-2.5 hours a day (under 2 hours on weekdays, over 3 hours on weekends) for the past 3 weeks is "unusual"? Seriously?
Are you brand-new to Internet gaming?  Or just trolling me?  I expected and am perfectly fine with people being skeptical about my post, as the pity timer has worked for myself and millions of others prior to this recent patch.
But being skeptical of someone playing Hearthstone for a couple of hours per day is some tinfoil hat level idiocy.
As for the rest, it's not just "2 people" claiming the pity timer hasn't worked.  In this topic alone, myself, perivfb, DiamondDM13, and rudeteenger have stated we have gone over 40 packs without a legendary.  That's four people.  (Are we ALL hallucinating or forgetting an entire legendary?)  In that Reddit topic, there were several users who had noted the same thing.
And it's funny that for someone who claims I miscounted you failed at counting higher than two.  More projection?
You just told me that an arena run takes you about 100 minutes for 10 games. That's about ten min per game (22 games in 18 days, and you implied most of them were since patch so 8 days), plus brawl, dailies, and enough games to hit rank 5. Little more than two hours there.

But again, like i said if it's true the most likely explanation is just that the pity timer reset by accident, not that they magically removed it for no reason.

    You're right. I was confused.

-12 Un'Goro packs as part of real money sale since I got a Legendary midway through.

It would actually be pretty simple to show that you only have one Un'Goro Legendary in your collection.  Make the search, take a screenshot, and upload the screenshot.  The result should show only one page with a bookmark.  It wouldn't prove that you missed the pity timer, but it *would* be evidence.

It would help if you bothered reading my posts, or understood their contents, before repeatedly claiming I have made a mistake.  I have written earlier in the topic that I have a total of 5 Legendaries from Un'Goro, as I have opened packs before the sale in late June, obviously.
    Quote from SinAscendant>>

But I mean, according to your timeline, you bought 20 packs, and then proceeded to do 22 arena runs and THEN buy 13 packs in 3 weeks? I mean I'm not going to say it didn't happen, but that seems like a whole lot of buying/arena at once in a tiny period. That's what, assuming an average of 3 wins, 132 games in three weeks just by themselves, not counting the games for quests? So you're telling me you played nine to ten games a day, every single day, for three weeks straight right now?

Yes. I average 6.5 wins in Arena (so I lose very little gold per run, if any) and after attaining Legendary rank in June, wanted to make the top 150 in the Americas for Arena in July.  Is playing lots of Arena unusual?  A typical 7-3 arena lasts 90-110 minutes for me.
And I play far more than 9-10 games a day, because I also do Tavern Brawl, complete quests, and got to Rank 5 in Constructed during the early part of this month.
Playing that much in general is unusual, as someone who buys packs for real money would also theoretically have a job and not have time to play that much. But I suppose I am assuming there, so I'll take that as truth, as it doesn't matter that much.

posted a message on How come quest priest isn't a strong card in the current meta

Yeah, it's only viable in Wild sadly. There just isn't enough good deathrattle in Standard to make it worth it.

Maybe it will be better next set, I imagine Lich King will have a lot of deathrattle.  But right now it's Crystal Oracle, Shifting Shade, and Shellraiser. Anything else has to be non class, so stuff like Mistress, Loot Hoarder, maybe Thalnos, MAYBE Harvest Golem, and Cairne? There's no actual good neutral deathrattles at all right now.

It sounds like you just misremembered when you got the legendary, honestly.

The easiest way to prove it would be, as they said earlier, post what your Un'Goro legs are and which ones you crafted. If you really did open 51 packs since the last leg, there is likely going to be an extra leg in there that you haven't accounted for. But like I said, the more likely answer is that you actually either got some of those other packs earlier, or just miscounted.

But I mean, according to your timeline, you bought 20 packs, and then proceeded to do 22 arena runs and THEN buy 13 packs in 3 weeks? Quote from DiamondDM13 >>

Mage is strong because most of their damage dealing cards have no target restriction. Also mage has good early, mid and endgame options. Bad mage cards do not exist. So discover or random effects in mage are better than in any other class. The only way to win vs a mage is by pressure with big minions and lots of healing and some classes have no healing. That makes mage better than most classes.
No bad cards hum? I see a bunch of them in my collection... Arcane Missiles? Mirror Image? Shatter? Vaporize? Potion of Poly? Freezing Potion? Kabal Lackey? Arcane Explosion? Flame Geyser? Twilight Flamecaller? Shimmering Tempest? Demented Frostcaller? And so on. Mage has bad and underwhelming cards. Some can be useful situationally, but most not. I personally don't like random effects and discover even in Mage because there is a 30% chance or higher for you to get useless or underwhelming. They have great possible outcomes, but also terrible ones.
Lol what? Half the cards you mentioned are great or at least decent... Flame Geyser is fine, Tempest is a 2/1 Babbling Book,  Flamecaller is a 3/3 with Whirlwind, Vape is a free minion kill that forces your opponent to make subpar plays, and Frostcaller is just basically Frost Nova if it stays on the field more than a turn

i dont see quest rogue since one  week and i am rank 2... the deck its bad with 4 minions, with 5 terrible and with 6 the worst trash...

Also the the quest of shaman and hunter are easy too.

Then you got lucky. It's not a great deck in terms of consistency, the problem is that if they get good draws it's a fucking OTK.

And yeah sham and hunter are easy, but they're trash and take a fuckton longer. Ten murlocs? That means it has to be at LEAST turn 7 before you can finish it and that's assuming you drew all murlocs and nothing else. And hunter's requires you to lose a bunch of tempo with onedrops and then you get to drop a bunch of 3/2s your opponent can ignore and kill you because they got you to 15 health while you were dropping 2/1s for six turns, and they got up to a 4/6 with three other minions on board.

So does the first 10 packs work for every expansion, So when the expansion comes out for every expansion that i open 10 packs from i'll 100% get a legendary?

Yes, you will always get a legend in the first ten packs of a new xpac. I don't imagine it's retroactive to old xpacs even if you never opened them though.

Blizzard thought that by giving shamans too many powerrful elementals would maybe make the Elemental Shaman deck too strong and since shaman was the number one strongest class since Whispers, they didn't want shamans to continue this ugly spree. And now that the developers see that Elemental shaman is barely playable, they understand that making Halazeel and Jade Spirit elemental will be a just buff for the class, not something owerpovered.

     >Barely playable

Ele Shaman was Tier 2/3 depending on what site you go to. P sure if you're in Tier 2 and you get buffed that pushes you towards Tier 1

I told everyone the nerf would do nothing, and I got downvoted hard. Who's laughing now? Making the quest five minions instead of four only stalls the Quest Rogue, but it doesn't stop them.

It's not meant to stop them. Where did you get that idea? It was only meant to delay them a little more and make the deck more inconsistent.
Probably from 80% of the posters on here. Even looking through this thread it's all "waaah Caverns rogue is dead gg blizz for making it unplayable"

Note the "Elemental" tag on all of these.

Flame of Azzinoth was originally a demon but obviously you can't do that as Neutral and it's the same type of creature as Flame Elementals.

Nerf until July 24th... That's too bad...

... I didn't think they would overlook something as obvious but with the new legendary rule, and with all legendaries owned, I thought I would dust it for full value, then get it, dust it, get it, dust it... get it ? ;)

Hey man, if you want to waste gold going through Un'Goro packs until you get the legend pull then feel free
