Basically Miracle Rogues forced this to happen. Miracle destroys slower decks and the only decks that can outtaunt/outheal Miracle's removals and still stay alive seem to be Handlock and MAYBE ramp druid.
Yeah I'm pretty confused. What are you talking about? The meta is really slow at the moment.
I'll go over the general popularity of classes atm from most popular to least popular: Warlock - zoo and handlock are about evenly represented. The past month or so it has been almost all zoo, but control is making a comeback now. Rogue - Almost all rogues are playing miracle rogue, which is a combo/control style. Aggro/midrange rogue is pretty rare these days. Warrior - While aggro warrior is making a small comeback because it has a good matchup against miracle rogue, control is still by far the more popular variant Druid - Token druid, the most aggressive variant is on the rise a bit, but still most druids are playing ramp or midrange (although there's a popular variant mixing watchers and Violet Teacher/tokens) Shaman - Shamans are not aggro decks, 99% of them are midrange and go for board control over face damage. Mage - Mage aggro is a rush deck, although it's not super popular and gets hard countered by zoo and warrior. Priests - All control, although Mind Blast + Velen is being played a bit. Paladin - The rarest class on the ladder. Most of them are playing control or midrange. Very rarely do I run into an aggro pally.
This is coming from a 4x legend player. This season though I've tanked my rank to 20 though and I play from 20 to 10 then concede back to 20 because I am grinding for a golden hero.
For budget, I like the Temple Enforcer over the Boulderfist Ogre. You gain some good upside while only sacrificing 1 health. This is what I would use. I'm assuming you have 1 Cabal Shadow Priest and Faceless since you included them in your original deck. The Black Knight could also fit in.
Changes/Notes: -I took out the Ancient Watcher package as I feel like it's too defensive. I left in one Argus but the general trend I'm seeing now is for priests to go with Sen'jins as they are very good vs zoo and hunters atm, while the Ancient Watchers will be better vs control but still harder to set up.
-I added a Wild Pyro and Clerics. This will combo with the cheap spells you have and I also added a SW:P. If you are looking to change the build a bit to make it a bit more late game, you could try a second Holy Fire or The Black Knight.
-I also only included 1 Soulpriest. I've seen Amaz switch to one Soulpriest and just purely try to use it as a combo card with Circle or on Turn 6 with a ping. 2 can clog up your hand. I've tried it out and I like the 1 Soulpriest better as well.
-Took out the Harvest Golem. It's fine I guess but one Harvest Golem alone won't help your early game much.
I play both Handlock and Control Warrior, and Shamans give me the most trouble for sure.
Totems are rather tough to deal with as a warrior as your removal is great single-target, but shamans can build the board every turn without running out of steam. Often I've been forced to Brawl with like 4 totems out, a mana tide and maybe a creature like Defender of Argus because there's no way to remove the Mana Tide or Argus without using a Shield Slam or Execute, which I'd rather use on a bigger creature.
As Handlock Earth Shock is a perfect counter to Twilight Drakes and Hex for Mountain Giants. Smart shaman players will keep me around 15-20 health and then burst me down and there's not much I can do aside from get lucky and hope they didn't draw answer to an early Mountain/Twilight.
So I've been playing this game for ~6 months now so I've built up a pretty solid collection. I have all the popular legendaries, and am looking for advice on the next 2-3 legendaries to craft. I'm definitely looking at both class-specific ones as well as any neutrals, just the strongest ones left as I like playing a variety of classes.
Here is what I have:
Lorewalker Cho, Pagle, Bloodmage Thalnos, Leeroy, Old Murk-EyeHarrison Jones, Gelbin, Sylvanas, Cairne, Hogger, The Black Knight, The Beast, Baron Geddon, Rag, Ysera, Alexstrasza, Onyxia, Cenarius, Jaraxxus, Grommash, Tirion
What exactly can't druids deal with? You have the best silence creature in the game for Cairne/Sylvanas/Ysera, and BGH and Black Knight as options to kill big creatures and taunts.
More midrangey version that I've also been testing out. Lots of silence bait, so Ysera actually does work. Because the goal is to get some midgame damage in, Alex is not needed.
when comparing the battlecries of Farseer to windspeaker...
-windfury costs 2 mana and a card and is considered reasonably strong.
-2 mana and a card, healing would be 6 health (paladin card), and is generally considered a reasonably weak card.
So I mean, your argument might be at least somewhat valid if farseer healed for 6. as a 3 mana card, its probably a 2-2 or 2-1. as a 4 man card, it should probably be a 4-3 or 3-4.

It's pretty much the deck to beat at legend. Just as common if not more than midrange hunter.

What rank are you at now?

Cairne is an excellent second pick.
I crafted mine a while back so it was in a bit different order (Sylvanas, Rag, Bloodmage).
I think now Rag/Cairne/Leeroy are the definite top 3 and give you a lot of variety on what decks you can run.

Hey Kitkatz,
Wanted to thank you - got to legend this week rather painlessly because of your build. Onyxia is a beast!

This.
