If you're a casual player, it is the perfect "fun" card to play with. It will not be used competitively though.

So how long do you have to get the full disenchant cost for the nerfed cards, before they go back to being 1/4? Or is there no window?

That's because Blizzard has no fucking clue what they are doing with this expansion. New meta will be a giant RNG bullshit fest. Blizz really dropped the ball here after us having to deal with this horribly stale meta as it is right now and now we have another horrible meta coming our way we will have to put up with for months on end. GG Blizzard. Good luck getting people to play this trash expansion.
