That's a hell of a weird take. Almost every "live service" game has seasonal content ranging from mostly cosmetic to completely functional. You don't have control over it in any of them, and it's one of the main ways developers can keep the game from going stale while staying in a reasonable budget.

Crawford881 posted a message on Mercenaries Gameplay! Inside Look At The New Gamemode by Slysssa, Trump and KrippPosted in: NewsWhat I am hoping for in this mode is something like the appealing aspects of Dungeon Run or some of the other single player modes, without relying on random deck drafts, and with persistent rewards. I hope the harder PvE challenges and the Heroic bounties are like puzzles rather than pure stat checks based on how much you’ve spent/grinded. These early missions look really simplistic, but, of course, these are the tutorial missions. If the challenges are well designed and the PvP has the strategic depth of something like Pokemon Battles, this could be really interesting.
I think Battlegrounds is more fun than Teamfight Tactics and other auto chess games, despite having a lot less animation, so I’m not bothered by the look of it, and I have a fair amount of hope that the Hearthstone team has grafted the collection drive of Pokemon or Genshin to the gameplay of something like Slay the Spire for the bounties.
It’s really expensive, though and they haven’t given us a whole lot of information on what the higher-end gameplay looks like, so they have a lot of convincing to do if they want to sell those pre-order bundles.

N0xshus posted a message on 90%WR B10-D10 Q ShamanPosted in: 90%WR B10-D10 Q ShamanIts shaman, it can get you to diamond 10 very easily, thats the point of this deck.
Why would anyone spend 14.7k dust on a deck, ok. Shaman is in a bad spot right now, its very difficult to climb, getting to diamond 5 with shaman right now is a task in itself, this could help fellow shaman players rank up. Or Because they have the dust, already have the cards, a Shaman enthusiast like myself or maybe they like off-meta decks.
Im apart of a shaman only Fb group and a lot of people are happy with this deck, because they are seriously struggling to rank up with shaman right now. They are happy to sit at D10 while the month finishes off. Because most couldnt even reach diamond 10 with shaman before the last buffs.
I never said it can go to diamond 5 or legend. The price of the deck is visible and the results are fair and truthful. I don't see why this is a problem. The deck is true to its words. It does not deceit people into wasting dust, so there's nothing wrong with it. If i wrote B10-LEGEND then that would be completely miss leading and i could understand your view.
I do understand what your saying, don't get me wrong. But i feel you have sort of missed the point of the deck. I make decks for fun, and i think this is a standout shaman deck right now. It has a couple upvotes, so it must be working for a couple of people, perhaps in the categories i mentioned above?
Unfortunately i wont be able to climb anymore this month. I finished at diamond 8 with the deck.
Thanks for replying in a rational way by the way, i respect that. Cheers mate!

BroF1sT posted a message on Ashes of Outland Meta Decks - Post Nerfs EditionPosted in: NewsQuote from TwistedCardmaster >>When you are F2P, you can't afford to invest your dust recklessly and you have to focus on 2-3 classes.
Dude the entire DH Class was pretty much entirely free, you had the chance to craft the only 2 legendaries you'll ever need in this expansion, being Kayn Sunfuryy and Metamorphosis.
Not having 3200 Dust available to be competetive is one hell of a lazy excuse. Also predicting that SHAMAN and Paladin out of all classes would be anywhere near competetive in this meta makes you an atrociously bad gambler as well, and thats still a collosal understatement.
3 classes for the rest of your life

Shudderwock is not essential, I even think it is kind of bad in this deck. You can replace it with whatever you want. I have replaced it with Earthen Might but basically anything is possible, maybe Al'Akir or Lich King or Thrall or Volcano/Lightning Storm... The possibilities are endless :)

First Zoolock Deck I really enjoy playing :) Still learning to use the right cards at the right time but its fun. Made some adjustments, took out both forbidden ritual for a Sea Giant and Azure Drake. Until now there was no problem getting Sea Giant out with 3 or 4 Mana :) Nice work
