You guys haven't played the game enough if you can't tell the difference between a "saving time concede" and an "APM salty rage quit as fast as possible to prevent the final humiliating blow concede".

allanime01 posted a message on Ez rank 20-legend in 3 daysPosted in: Ez rank 20-legend in 3 daysi guess im just completely retarded cause im 10 matches in and only won 2 of them with this deck. nothing but fucking taunt druid, odd quest warrior, and mechathun priest with obnoxious heals and psychic screams.
But i switch to any of those counters and this will stomp my ass in a heartbeat.

Evil_B posted a message on Group therapy! Need to blow off steam? Mega salty? Here is the place! V2Posted in: General DiscussionBlizzard is making a HUGE push for new players. Every game I play (and I mean every game) features a perfect draw either by me or my opponent. It is completely mindless. Puke the cards out as they are dealt and top deck the game winner. How fun.
I miss strategy.

inferno147 posted a message on Group therapy! Need to blow off steam? Mega salty? Here is the place! V2Posted in: General DiscussionI realize this is personal preference but I keep facing boring ass combo decks and big mages who don’t do anything hung on the board and just wait for ten minutes before playing. They’re so boring to play against it just pisses me off. At least when I fight a board centric deck I can see us fighting back and forth but these decks are just sit for ten minutes before you don’t have any more cards and the kill you. And it’s not like I can just concede and go onto the next match because they are all I face. Like can I just play a fun game. Plus I get heated way more from these games than other ones. Hearthstone actively hates its own “fun and interactive” gameplay and encourages boring games where two people sit doing nothing before one of you looses. Whatever I’m just super salty right now and I’ll probably not care later but that’s what this thread is for so I don’t really care

TD3000 posted a message on Increasing use of The Wussy MovePosted in: General DiscussionIn my experience, it's a minority of players who BM and drag games. When you give them an out to play and don't take too long on your turn, most players will not slow roll you.

Kedalin posted a message on Increasing use of The Wussy MovePosted in: General DiscussionWhen it's obvious I've lost, I'll give my opponent the opportunity to take the killing blow if they want it, and hover over the Concede button. If they have a couple minions on the board that will kill me, I'll let them attack. They've earned a victory. The INSTANT I see them going to their hand for extra crap, I concede. Everyone wins. If you're the type who likes to get the KB, hooray, you get to do that. If you're the type who likes to dunk on their opponent by playing extra cards you don't need to secure the win, then hooray, I probably annoyed you by denying you the KB after all.

PinkiePieYay posted a message on Increasing use of The Wussy MovePosted in: General DiscussionI try to not concede, let my opponent feel the satisfaction.
Unless he won with an irritating (to me) deck or if he is clearly BM'ing me.

TD3000 posted a message on Increasing use of The Wussy MovePosted in: General DiscussionI agree with the OP. Conceding seems so habitual on Hearthstone that it's as if your opponent is hovering over the button. This can be timed in a really annoying way to interrupt your action, while not actually saving more than a few seconds. It can be interpreted as poor sportsmanship or a quitter's mindset, whether or not there is some rationale behind it. Sometimes conceding is appropriate and if so: I end my turn, let my opponent see their next card, hit concede, and maybe emote "well played".

Problem is, the big combo is so hard to get that by the time you have all the cards needed, you are already nicked down to 10 health or less with a board full of opposing minions.

This sucks balls. No matches against anything but Priests and Mages who stomp me without breaking a sweat. Mulligan for Keleseth works about 1 time out of 20 tries. Healing trick with the Lightwarden gets killed as well since there aren't enough taunt to protect her.

Won't someone please delete this damned thing so it stops showing up in the listings?

One more Frost Lich Jaina and I swear I will pack this whole MFing thing in. One. More.

Gotta say, this is SO MUCH FUN, even playing in Wild mode. It drives the Shamans nuts :D

This gave me my first win in days. With all the Kingsbane floating around, this actually has the guts to counter it.

Has anyone else noticed that fewer and fewer opponents let you have the final blow? For the past few weeks, nearly 100% of my opponents, when down to end-game and apparent that they could not save themselves (i.e., 12th round, I have 24 HP with 3 minions on the field and they have 4 HP / 1 minion) have simply pulled the rip cord, taking their final blows and then conceding.
I view this as really poor sportsmanship. You work hard to build, tune and refine your deck, you play well and you don't get the deathstroke because the other guy wusses out and can't bear to take the blow. Just seems like a really wuss move to me.
Agree? Disagree?

This meta, in Standard, is nothing but Rogues with Baku and Kingsbane, Shamans with Shudderwock, and Frost Lich Jainas. That's literally all I've been matched with since 1 July.

That's it. It's official. Blizzard is out to fuck me raw. Started up this morning to do my quest - 5 games, all matches against my same class (even when I changed classes), every one a win by turn 6 and every one by a margin of 20 points ore more.
Ranked play is so broken (or intentionally jacked) that it looks like Amanda Bynes.

I seriously think I’m done. Played 34 games today, started at rank 17, finished at rank 18. It’s nothing but a protracted circle jerk.
