So I played it the first time and won on turn 6! Awesome! Unfortunately if you don't get the exact draw you need, you are fucked royally.

He makes it look very easy in the video when everything is topdecked perfectly, but 9 of 10 games played I have gone down in flames.

Yup, 5 consecutive games against  Aggro Pally  with Baku, all with Sir Assholi-o hero avatars shouting “hello!” Lost every single one of course, playing a T1 hybrid hunter that ranked up beautifully just 2 months ago. Guess I should just give up and craft one too, like every other motherless asshat out there.

Problem is, the big combo is so hard to get that by the time you have all the cards needed, you are already nicked down to 10 health or less with a board full of opposing minions.

Amazing. I just spent all my dust to craft this deck, and my first match was against another Priest with the exact, same deck. In rank 20.

Tell me again how Hearthstone isn't rigged?

Add-on: 10 games now and haven't won a single one.

OH, HOW I HATE THE FIRST OF THE MONTH. All the a$$holes down in the lower rungs of the ladder, climbing on my back to get back up to where they were.

I should just spend a day conceding to clear out a couple hundred or so.

Sounds great, if I had $500 to blow on cards --> dust. Guess I'll just wait for this to start showing up in ladder at rank 18 so I can feel my blood pressure spike.

This sucks balls. No matches against anything but Priests and Mages who stomp me without breaking a sweat. Mulligan for Keleseth works about 1 time out of 20 tries. Healing trick with the Lightwarden gets killed as well since there aren't enough taunt to protect her.

Lich King in general seems like a good card, but it's pretty useless in reality. By the time you can play it, your opponent always has enough cards and mana to one-shot him, so you're lucky to get one draw off him and then he's dead (so the Taunt is useless too). Overvalued card, IMO.

It does seem that the matchups in the lower ladder ranks have become much more challenging over the past 6 months. More same-class battles, often with opponents using the same or quite similar decks. The importance of timely draws is often the deciding factor in these matches.

And yes, as noted elsewhere, you can't use this against an aggro Pally - they simply overwhelm you with numbers.

I've come to the sad conclusion that unless you spend $500 a month to get packs and dust stuff to craft legendaries, you cannot rise past rank 18 any longer. Some of us can't do that, so we play our dailies, buy the bundles when they're offered, and try to scrape together enough of the powerful ones to make a winning deck -- but even getting two packs a day isn't enough. I've just been playing what is claimed to be a "legendary" Mage deck with a 75% win rate and 400 upvotes, and all I can get is 50/50 thanks to the sheer numbers of Cubelocks, Even/Odd decks, Big Spell Mages and what have you which seem suspiciously overpowered to be lurking around the bottom, smashing guys like me at rank 19.

With all Blizzard's talk of "equitable FTP gaming", I just don't see any way this game isn't stacked against the low-budget player. And it's soul-crushing to sit and grind through 50 games (which are taking ever and ever longer to play, BTW) only to wind up at the same level (or lower) than you started, even with a deck worth 6,000 dust.

I've said it before, but I think I've about had it. Oh Hearthstone, why can't I quit you?

It is an amazing play guide. Unfortunately the deck is broken now. 20 games in, I started at rank 18 and finished at 20, with a 25% win rate. I'm not a horrible player; I read the guide and watched the vids, but it doesn't stand a chance against the aggro face shamans and cubelocks infesting Wild.

Yes, this is a fun deck to play, but 20 to 5 over 50 games? I don't believe it. I tested it out tonight, starting at rank 18 with 2 stars. I played 20 games in a row, all to the bitter end. and wound up winning 10 and losing 10. I never got a run going; win 2 then lose 2, ad infinitum.

There are too many weaknesses to make this deck effective on a consistent basis. There's no board clear capability, no higher-cost minions to work late-game, and no silence capabilities. This is a 50/50 deck at best.

Trying to play any kind of Warrior deck these days is like cleaning your ear with an ice pick.

God, I'm sick of losing with loser decks like this. No chance against Frost Lich Jaina or even a couple of Giggling Inventors, which is what everyone and their brother seem to be playing these days,
