posted a message on If you are wondering what blizzard thinks of you, take a look at this.

We don't know if this number is reasonable or not (anyway, for sure, it is a big number in order to have the full equip). There is for example a streamer who spend 10.000 in stream, and he has not received any 5 stars full legendary gem (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5ZStBfuWQQ).

In my opinion, there are also 2 things very bad that are for sure true:

    • Blizzard's lies. With Cheng that said: "There is no way to acquire or rank up gear using money"

    https://twitter.com/Zizaran/status/1533134376015364099/photo/1

(so :) 2 pity timers for the 2 legendary crests, which is the same item, ahahaha) --- Scammers!

This company needs to burn in hell. They are raping people, workers, women and customers (physically and mentally with scams and abuses).

Anyway, I am already on the boat of the refund with Apple in order to have my 25€ back. This situation is too shady. My little hope is already all lost. So, HS is dead for me, Diablo Immortal also. At this point, I can only boycott Blizz for these shady/scams and all this mess that they made in the past years.

    Another video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FsbZodR_nAs

                                https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YF--ytWn8mU

Unfortunately, Blizz, this is so true. You do not only violence on your workers, and the women (for which you have a lawsuit), but also the customers.

I also would like to underlay the shady/fraud that there was. With Cheng (the magic guy of "do you guys have phones") writing in the official forum, 4 months before the release: "There is no way to acquire or rank up gear using money".

Anyway. What I am very curious to know about is the refund policy. Obviously, the Blizz's one is to go to fuck off (because they obviously are a company that cares about customers). Anyway, in all these transactions (because it is mobile) there is always another actor in the middle.

So, if I purchase something, and then I realize that I don't want it any more, Apple, Google or Amazon will give me back my money or no? That's a big question. In my experience, I received my money back thanks to Apple in transactions with Ubisoft.

Because if these polemics against this game will continue, Blizz is risking to receive massive requests for refunds from his clients. Anyway, I don't think so that Apple, Google or Amazon want to be associated with something "shady" that seems "gambling".

Tl;dw: the biggest problem with the game isn't it's p2w nature, it's that it uses predatory monetisation techniques designed specifically to prey upon those with addictive personalities, or kids with their mom's credit card etc.

There is for sure a big issue with the monetization. Everything is so shady and if it will not become very clear in the short period*. I am already ready to close this game forever and to ask my money back (yes, I spend few bucks on it now but there is Apple in the middle of the transaction this time, so refund policy is the Apple's one and not the Blizz's terrible one. Sign Blizz :(   Mobile game can be refunded on Apple Store, no Battle Net crap ;)    ).

Anyway, for now and I enjoy it but if everything will remain so shady I will email shortly Apple.

*short period= 14 days from the date of the purchase in order to be eligible for the refund.

You have the skills trees. You have starting from 60. 60 is like the starting level. Then you have 300 levels up after 60 where you receive points for the skill tree. You can customize the character in the following way:

    • Skill tree for all levels up to 60
    • Essence of the legendaries
    • Legendary gems and gems
    • Charms
    • Horadrim
    • Helliquary
    • And slot of the ability (because they are limited, and you can use only 4 spells + 1 of the 2 normal attacks)

If you like immortal, you should play Diablo 3. It costs $40 one time and it’s a better version of the same game. Monetizing the Diablo loot loop is a terrible idea, there is no part of the loop that works out ok for microtransactions. It’s predatory, expensive, pay to play and a worse version of a game they released over 10 years ago. All of the discussions here are focusing on only playing as one character and one class, I couldn’t imagine only playing one class per season of Diablo 3. If you like immortal, play Diablo 3, it’s better. If you like playing it on the go, get it for Nintendo switch. Even if you don’t own a switch, buying a new system and Diablo 3 will be cheaper in a short amount of time.

In reality, as I said, I like the idea of having it in mobile. I wanted a simplified version of WOW with BGs and PVP, and it is Diablo Immortal. Unfortunately, there is no rogue or classes with stealth. And if I have also to spend a small amount of money, it is fine for me, also because, HS is uninstalled, so what I will not spend in HS I will in Diablo Immortal, I will be actually even.

I really don’t get you sometimes. I mean this respectfully, I agree with you 100% on the mercs fiasco. Immortal is really such a low tier version of Diablo 3 and has an even more aggressive monetization for less information. It just seems that your logic for why HS is irredeemable is even more applied to immortal. If you can convince yourself that a Nintendo switch is mobile enough, Diablo 3 ultimate edition is vastly superior and sounds more like what you would like for a portable dungeon crawler.

I know Diablo 3 and 2 I have both, and I played them, a lot (indeed I grew up with Diablo 2 and Warcraft 3). Diablo Immortal is not bad, I like it, especially for the BGs like WOW. Anyway for sure, if in the future I will realize (because like now we don't know, regarding what people are saying) that in order to acquire some items we can only open our wallet, my opinion will change very fast. Regarding HS instead. This game become very boring for me. I am very disappointed for mercenaries and the 130 pre-purchase, and I am very disappointed for the game that it is recycling stuffs without adding something really new. So, for me, it is a natural shift from HS to Diablo Immortal now.

This number, I can assure you, that it is totally wrong. And nobody is nearby, full.

Yes. I know. I also posted the article before you in this thread. But you know who is the source of this calculation? The YouTuber Asmongold, therefore, I can tell you:

    • He has no a real idea about the game because he is not playing it
    • He is not a skilled person in maths. Furthermore, he tells want people want and not numbers. He is not for sure a skilled analyst
    • Nobody knows the actual situation because nobody reached the level to really judge. As I said, the max level is like 360, In my server the highest person is maybe 80. (And when you increase the level, you unlock features that we don't know).

I am often very controversial with Blizzard's work and their monetization. But I can tell you that this is a retarded number, wrote it only to make viewers in his stupid channel, and regarding the game....it is particular, it is massive, for certain things I like it a lot, for others things I dislike it.

Blizz's bad reputation is fighting against them. If you try this game, you will realize that it is good. Shady (for the unknown issue in in-game purchase) but good.

As I said. Nobody knows that. We don't know if we can't complete a build for a normal amount of money. Nobody knows that because we don't know what it is inside the various "hells". Read my previous post.

Indeed, if I have to tell the true, I am becoming enthusiastic about this game. It is a mix between a simplified Diablo and WOW (similar pvp and battleground). It is indeed what I expected to see in Warcraft Arclight Rumble (which is crap for me).

We do know because they had to release the odds for some drops, because some countries' laws demand it.

We don't know because we discovered recently that this game is very huge (enormous). You can level up until level 360 (at least, I said 150 in the previous post, and it was wrong, it is at least 60 + 300). And since you increase in level, you can do new things and drop quality increases. So, again. Is it pay-to-win? For sure, if you pay, you can reduce the time that you need, but we don't still know for sure if certain items need only money. And my guess is no.

I will explain it better. My understanding is that Blizz puts some boundaries to players in order to avoid having people too strong. For example, if you are too high in level (based on the average level in the server) you will take less experience, you can do damages to players up to max 10% more (so no one shoots) and same things for the in-game purchases. Therefore, you can purchase something but up to a certain level it will become crazy expansive because it is too early. That's my guess, I hope I'm in right.

I am level 60 + 10. I finished the campaign and can confirm that it can be completed without in-game purchases. The longevity is truly impressive.  I am astonished about the quantity of contents of this game. There are a lot of things. Now that I understand it better, I can tell you this.

Yes. There is an issue with the legendary gems that are like now only purchasable (you will find very few of them due to missions). It is anyway true that this game is truly massive. At level 60 you theoretically end the game, but there are after hell 1, hell 2 hell 3 and hell 4 (hells are the same maps and raids with stronger enemies and stronger drops). Max level is 60 + 150 (at least, if not more).

So, is it pay-to-win? Yes, and I don't know. If you pay, you can accelerate for sure. The main issue is that this game is so massive that nobody know, like now, what it is in hell 2/3 and 4. For example. Before hell, it was nearly impossible to find normal gems (and now we can find them in inside the raids in hell 1). So I don't know if in hell 2/3 or 4 we will be able to find the legendaries gems.

There are articles, like this one: https://gamerant.com/diablo-immortal-pay-to-win-legendary-gems/

My opinion is that it is a very stupid position. Because the reality is another, nobody knows what it is inside the levels up to hell 1. So we don't know, and for sure this estimate is dumb.

I was serious when I asked before though. Forgot the microtransactions issue, forget the pay to play issues...what makes Diablo (any version) a fun game? I'm not being critical, I'm genuinely curious. From my very limited experience, it feels like button mashing, easy combat on repeat.

Have you ever played WOW? It is the same. You have to farm the equipment. It is fun in the farm, and it is fun to do what you like. There are generally 2 separate worlds in these games. PVE and PVE. PVE is the fight against NPCs with other people (raids, dungeons and so on). PVP is the fight against other people (BG, arena and so on). So, if you like PVP as me, for example, where is the fun in playing BG or arena? Well, it is similar to play a game like Call of Duty, you fight, and you make the kills.  Then you have to optimize your equipment, your skills and so on to be more effective.
