Tram will probably be that one card nobody puts in the deck, but ends up being really good as a discover.
Just grab one from discover, copy the value and nuke the board.

xskarma posted a message on New Hearthstone Expansion Leak? - Showdown in the Badlands!Posted in: NewsI just prefer their Mean Streets of Gadgetzan takes on lore vs their One Night in Karazhan takes.
Wild Wild West would definitely be more the latter. xD
But, the art they used for the Tshirt says they might be leaning towards the former.

Eqo posted a message on Apparent Restructure At Blizzard Hearthstone TeamPosted in: NewsI think, but it’s wildly suggestive, two things are happening.
1. It might have something to do with prepping for the Microsoft takeover, and if that’s the case, I think we should see it as a good thing. We all know Hearthstone has been dipping its toes in multiple new modes, mechanics and other forms of cosmetics. Most of them, sadly, didn’t work. Duels, Twist, Mercenaries, all fell short. I don’t think Diamond portraits did very well either, while I can imagine they take up a lot of resources.
2. Linked to my first point, the game lacked focus for a long time now. I don’t want to discourage gaming studios trying new things, but Hearthstone’s track record of launching those new things and then not supporting it after, is bad practice. In my opinion, the game was best with just Standard, Wild, Arena and Battlegrounds as its main modes. Duels could’ve been fun if it received more support. And Twist, well, I think it’s a super ambitious game mode that is just not profitable. They can make it more accessible, but I don’t think they are willing to cut deep.
All in all, I hope it’s a good sign, as painful as it is for the laid-off employees. I hope it’s a sign of renewed focus and perhaps a bigger focus on retention instead of attraction of new players.

Ophion-EU posted a message on TITANS Mini Set Announced: Fall of Ulduar - Launch Tuesday September 19th!Posted in: NewsCho'gall seems bad. Even if you benefit more than your opponent from most anomalies, the low 25% activation chance makes it too unreliable. To play it you'd also really want the body, which to be fair is pretty decent, especially in Twist.
Chaotic Tendril will probably not see play by itself, but if there are other cards that are useful and generates one or more tendrils, it might see play that way.
The Hunter cards all seem good. Celestial Shot in particular is going to be huge for Arcane Hunter.

PetiteMouche posted a message on TITANS Mini Set Announced: Fall of Ulduar - Launch Tuesday September 19th!Posted in: NewsBecause without defensive keywords it's a liability in the deck and it would be played far less than intended by Blizzard.
Boulderfist ogre is unplayable and irrelevant so don't pretend you're mad because there's a strictly better card, ogre wasn't even good 10 years ago in vanilla and powercreep of bad cards is good design.

hydrafrog posted a message on Balance Changes Preview for Patch 27.2.2Posted in: NewsFaithful Companions is only busted because Hunter waits until the manathirst ability can be triggered to pull two buffed King Krush for lethal or two buffed Hollow Hound and beat up the board and gain life back. Increasing the cost wouldn't make sense. However, if they made it so that it will summon an unbuffed version of the card, that would help to balance it a bit.
As for Halduron Brightwing , the issue with him is that for 3 mana he buffs your hand and deck and has a 3/4 body. I wouldn't be surprised if they beat him up a little on the health side or increased the cost by (1).
The wild seeds couldn't have been more disruptive honestly. A card that bring minions to the board that have additional effects can be rough to deal with. Even with the 1-3 turn dormancy. The taunt went down in health and it was needed. I wouldn't be shocked if they made the rush seed a 2/1 instead of 3/1 and the stag give a smaller weapon.

Blizzard will just increase the mana for Odyn to 9 mana. =p

I had this game when I copied his Sif randomly, and used it on turn 7. He used the mage skill to cloned my Sif (oops) and proceeded to hit me a few times. I survived because the spell damage was not much.
Then I used whirlpool on turn 8 to wipe the Sif off his deck. Had a great game after knowing he lost his win condition

Ask yourself… if you don’t come back, what will you be doing with that extra time?
I took a break from hearthstone for a year, and found myself with more time to build my (neglected) business and read more books.
But if you stop hearthstone and use that time to err… play another time consuming game, then seriously it’s not much of a difference. Every game has its fun and flaw…. So come back and play for free, and see if it’s really worth the experience

Awesome build. I’ve got up to diamond 5 with a control shaman build. I found dragon breath x2 to be crazy good against aggro (even though I only have 4 dragons).
I had squallhunter to replace Phoenix because I’m greedy and it works better with landslide (6 mana AOE, which can clear the Murloc prime for paly, and also the treant respawn deathrattle for druid)
Now making comparisons to see how I can better my build with yours. Really helpful, thank you

Same. I lost polymorph. Restarted the game and it’s back

Same, I just concede. I’m rushing for my 500 wins, no time for slow games.

I watch Kripp. His ranking is about 11k now. His videos has some skipping, so if u are at bob’s tavern for 60 seconds, a little after he finishes his pick in say... 40 seconds, u skip direct to the action.
watching the pros play is important. I never even knew spawn was that good in the early games till I watched the videos. Ya, I’m a noob. Haha

Cabal shadow priest? Good idea, though 6 meta seems somewhat expensive in today's meta.
