posted a message on Why is Rockbiter Weapon a nature spell??

The Rockbiter weapon(Axe of Cenarius) is literally a weapon made with nature magic by elves, it was given to Broxigar and it was the only weapon to ever wound Sargeras(The big bad guy) until that point

I can assure this man is correct, climbed to diamond with Quest Mage, Robes of Protection is an instant loss if no Fire Sale or if it is buffed, I simply concede and move on.

There is a big difference between playing a 20 minute match against most control decks out there and playing against this season Priest, the deck is garbage fire and does very few interactive plays and rely on card generation to win and that you would win anyway.

There was a very similar deck a long time ago with Lyra, where you would win with sheer card generation to everwhelm your opponent, and this deck was actually good and didn't piss off anybody, because it played like a normal control deck with plenty of interaction, had alternative wincons and all their bullshit happened really quickly in a single combo turn with Lyra and Radiant Elementals.

posted a message on Honestly I don't understand why people play this game anymore.

I don't get these complaints, card games are notoriously hyper competitive, thats the thrill. You want to push the mechanics to it's limits, figure out optimal strategies and win and most people sign up for this. However the casual crowd is waaaaaaaaay larger and in the case of physical games, it is split into very small groups of friends that never set a foot into a LGS during a tournament to witness the cutthroat competition and have a unreal view of the actual thing. Hearthstone is 24/7 LGS Tournament, there is no room for kitchen table decks, if you to do so, either play with friends, git gud or wait for a meta shift.

Except for Crabrider, none of these nerfs is actually relevant imo. The nerf to Hysteria is a freaking joke.

1st Day of School is not even a real nerf actually. Paladin will still win everything in standard and it's boring, shaman still sucks, Frenzy still sucks. And Refreshing Spring Water is still way too good in spell mage. Hunter has received no changes at all?

The buffs are mostly irrelevant. BG might become a little less one-sided, but that's it.

On a sidenote: WIld and Duels are close to unplayable right now in higher ranks, but who at Blizzard cares anyway.

    Just my two cents.

This paragraph gets written EVERY single time there is a balance change and it almost never ages well.  Single mana nerfs are a big deal and they continuously affect the meta whenever they are introduced.  Hysteria - for example - is a card which has become more and more problematic as it has proven to be WAY too efficient of a board clear for a relatively cheap cost and when you combine that with the high potential for discovery in Priest decks then you are left with an extremely frustrating situation where one player is continuously punished for attempting to establish any board control.  Allowing a player a single extra turn to establish board presence and do potential damage while robbing a Priest of 2-4 mana per game (depending on discovery amount) is absolutely a big deal.

Can't play it with Kazakus too.

Pretty good nerfs, the Mankrik one is a bit out of place.

Buffs are okay, although some of them are completely useless.

The amount of priests in your screenshot disgusts me, how come people insist playing the worst competitively and boring priest deck to date?

posted a message on Fellow Control Warlock players...

Well, he explained with his list, he chose to drop the top heavy Corrupt package for extra taunts and healing and tech cards, Mortal Coil is pretty good and has too much utility to forego, specially with Tamsin Roame. For instance:

Bait Oh My Yogg! as he said.
    Cheap cycling
Good for popping First Day of School minions, dudes and the guy that draws.
Can finish off a Crabrider on turn 3 after Soul Shear or Drain Soul
Excelent interaction with Tamsin Roame as I stated before as it is very easy to cram it along another spell for additional damage/draw

Just play the standard version, the less gimmicky the better, although there is room for some tech cards.

As for the mage matchup, all decks hate Ogremancer and all you need is to play for the board and push for damage, they may have to use burn to clear minions, Tick is pretty good to clear out some burn and potentially brick excess draw cards. Only mulligan as it is No Minion, all other mage decks suck way harder than lock.

I personally dropped Ogremancer for Oozes to better handle Paladins and Warriors, plus it's fun to play it against opposing Jaraxxus.

posted a message on Control is so bad in Hs atm

Most players have a difficult time playing control decks well, as they tend to go for the Stall gameplan everytime which is not the plan you should choose against a greedy high end control deck or a control, specially ones with an Inevitable plan. You need to put pressure on them to disrupt their plan. Tick is not the first of their kind and all past instances of this gameplan also a bunch whiners complaining about it just as much as right now.

posted a message on Tickatus is good or bad for this game because...

Tickatus is fine, we had a bunch of Control played Control Buster cards in the past and there was at least one absolute dominant control deck at least once a year every year, Tickatus just does it instantly instead of dragging you for countless dead turns, Justicar Warrior would simple press HP every turn and fatigue you to death and there was absolutely nothing you could do as a control deck if you were playing passive, KotFT Warlock would crush any control deck if you took your time, you can't keep up with constant full boards of sticky minions and Drain Hero Power.

Tickatus at least does not win on the spot or flip the game on it's head, if you were winning before Tickatus, you are still winning after Tickatus.
