razor565 posted a message on The New Meta Breaker: Freeze Shaman / ***hole shamanPosted in: The New Meta Breaker: Freeze Shaman / ***hole shamanGreat deck! Won the first three games I played with it,including a incredible come back win against a imp warlock.
Take Shamaniacs comment about UNLIMITED POSSIBILITIES! to heart, this is no one trick pony deck like most shaman decks are.
Would love a mulligan guide.
Thanks for building it!

Card_Lord posted a message on Kanrethad Warlock (the new meta deck??)Posted in: Kanrethad Warlock (the new meta deck??)Just played against this list on ladder and immediately searched it up. I love seeing lists that hone in on one mechanic (primes) like that. Ultimately a real nail biter with a few bad decisions on my opponents side and I managed to narrowly beat this with spell mage. This was in legend by the way. Not particularly high or anything but the deck managed to utilize every single aspect of how you built it. Just wanted to let you know cause it's the kind of thing that I'd be happy to hear if I made a deck list this interesting. Keep it up, you're really on to something here and the talent to back it up!

Lucero posted a message on Kanrethad Warlock (the new meta deck??)Posted in: Kanrethad Warlock (the new meta deck??)Great reply to OP commentor's remarks. His ideas are basically "change the nature and spirit of this deck" and you said "but that's the nature and spirit of this deck". I concur. Not sure I'm brave enough to take this to ladder at D2, but I am intrigued.

BrindlePoint posted a message on Lothraxion Paladin (73% winrate)Posted in: Lothraxion Paladin (73% winrate)Just wrecked a control priest with this. His legend card back could not save him from the dudes. He did double corrupted clown. Two old gods (n'zoth and Y'Shaarj). Tons of corrupted shit. He even got a Barron Gedon out of the corrupt auspicious spirits. Blademaster to apoesthesis all the cheese. Cleared my board like 5 times at least.
I even ran out of cards. Still whipped his ass after 29 turns. He couldn't deal with spawning buffed divine shield recruits every turn. He conceded all salty no well played. this wrecks control esp if you get pursuit of justice early
PS - I play a lot of dude pally and played it a lot last expansion (DMF), hammer of naru is way more consistent vs aggro than snack run. I subbed one snack run for hammer. Thinking about removing the second snack run as well. Also better vs control usually (9 weapon damage and a big body). Also better vs face hunter/harder to trample with rhino and stops their little shits

Beautiful game! :)

Hi! I also had a desire to put more control tools into the deck in the past. Spammy Arcanist and Insatiable Devourer have both a "home" in the deck because you can copy the effects with Brilliant Macaw. Sadly this direction was going towards a control deck and lost too much momentum for me to think it was worth it. If you can somehow make it work, hit me up! I would be interested :)
Meanwhile I just made a small update on the post; alternative build for the deck that is working even better (atleast for me).

You nailed it! To be honest I stopped playing for over a year because din't like the direction where the developers were pushing the game. They wanted faster games and more "clear" paths of building your decks win conditions because they wanted to make it easier for the players... I do not like it easy :D I like to think. And I wanted to give the game one more change and came up with this beautiful mess! It's more about to know what to do with given resources gainst your opponents deck... than "finish your quest and win against doesn't matter who".

Druid is one of the worse matchups for the deck in any case (43% wr for me). The wins I get against it are usually to do with going for the face with good manacurve and pretending to play aggro. Somethimes seen druid make the mistake to get their board full with example tobio the shrubbagazzer's effect. By freezig it and maintaining a strong field enough to deal with the armor, it's possible: https://hsreplay.net/replay/BdeMUgsByCcTf328vFSa7q
If you're talking about the "freezing marathon", I think the best way to learn is to watch my recondings and just play. The biggest and hardest trick to explain is to know how to keep the mana, field space, atk values and the enemys HP in check at the same time. For exxample if you have 10 mana and you drop Snowfall Guardian to bounce it back with Youthful Brewmaster, it's already been 8 mana, and there's not too much else to do for that turn. But if you have made it so that the last battlecry from you last turn was Snowfall Guardian and you have Brilliant Macaw, then you need to use only 3 mana for the freeze, opening many different ways for healing with 7 mana.
For you also I can offer private tutoring session within the game if that's something you would want :)

Hi! I also often find mysef in a situation when I'm like "Oh shit! He's playing some kind of combo deck!" such as your Fel DH for example. Then I know I only have limited amount of time to finish them off with the some varient of Astalor, the Flamebringer OTK -combo OR get "lucky" and let them to build up a board that is counteractive for their own strategy and keep it frozen with Snowfall Guardian marathon until I win. So many of these combos need certain amount of room from the board, especially with something like Duid, and if they dont have it or anything to destroy their own field with, they're just doomed.
Evolve shaman surely can manage to pull the turn 3 11/11 magic trick. Just take deep breaths and try to think every turn how to make dmg to your face as low as possible with cards such as Windchill, Sleetbreaker, Snowblind Harpy ext. until you get to turn 6 and drop your first (of many copies) Snowfall Guardian to completely block them for the turns to come. It does not matter if you have 1hp at this moment, the current list of Evolve Shaman doet not run any direct dmg spell or anything that deals with your board without using their own minions. This is how it goes on paper, surely I feel your bad luck about them getting the Warlock legendary minion, but if you keep trying and do everything right multiple times, eventually you have won more games than lost becouse you had 0,01% change of a bad luck ;)

Actually a good adition! I had forgotten his existence for some reason, ty for tipping him out!
Now I need to change 8x copies of Astalor Bloodsworn to 9- infinite x copies xD

The best card for replacement is Vectus. It's not perfect by any means.
With Kanrethad Prime + potential Youthful Brewmaster combo it is a 10 mana turn; summon boarfull of minions and make favorable trades with your 2x Nightshade Matron's that you dont fall behind in tempo.
With Vectus + Youthful Brewmaster u'll have 7 mana turn; summon small minions that don't do anything immediately. At maxium you can have the leftover 3 mana used in a form of removal with Blood Shard Bristleback.
Also when using Vectus, U'll have to remember that there's actually 3 deathrattle minions in the deck; Taelan Fordring, Death's Head Cultist and Envoy Rustwix! Just keep it on your mind when playing the game and play the cards in order that gives you the value or healing you'll need in that specific situation.

1. True, you could! Vectus would also add some extra healing to the deck because of Death's Head Cultist. But It would make the Nightshade Matron + Hand of Gul'dan combo to come down one turn later when using Lorekeeper Polkelt's effect besause Vectus is a 5 -drop. Also Brewmaster might be clunky when making duplicates of Kanrethad Prime, but when you have the "need" to do it, it's usually forgiven because then you are against control. When against aggro, brewmaster is higly less clunky, because you can re-do Blood Shard Bristleback op battlecry multiple times.
2. That would fight against activation of Blood Shard Bristleback's effect by increasing number of cards in your deck. Also after Lorekeeper Polkelt's effect the Soul Fragment's would just go to bottom of the deck and be rather useles(?)
3. True, Backfire is one mana cheaper and draws same amount of cards as the Nightshade Matron + Hand of Gul'dan combo. But Backfire is not a Demon that would make your turn to drop Kanrethad Prime more "active" than just put 8 drop on the field - "do nothing". Also the whole idea with Lorekeeper Polkelt's effect is to have guaranteed card draw instead of "potentially having 2 backfires on bottom of my deck".
Having a conversation, nothing against if you make your changes yourself or not.

You probably didn't read the whole text and notice that there's C'Thun, the Shattered in the deck (makes four +5 spells).

Try to avoid playing card draw battlecries before the quest is complete, unless U truly have to get some bodies on board against aggro. Against control there usually is not a hurry to complete the quest, U can save cards to play them later for maxium value.
