I imagine the 3 Jurassic Park steps that King Krush does, but replaced by the Pixar's Lamp jumping in the ball sounds.

Lucksnipe3040 posted a message on Introducing Catch-Up Packs!Posted in: NewsTo all the people who are going to say "why are the dedicated players not being rewarded" please look at it this way.
Blizzard doesn't owe you anything and you wouldn't be complaining if nothing was being given out at all.
If you're a returning player, you get free cards to catch up to the crowd. If your a dedicated player you get to enjoy your game with more than just bots. Everyone wins

sPacEtiMe19 posted a message on Multiple New Druid Cards RevealedPosted in: NewsPeople constantly underestimate mana in this game.
Dropping a 5/4 on 4 while clearing a minion is a chasm better than doing so on 5.
3 mana draw 2, ehh. 2 mana draw 2, insane. Same principle

MysteryboxHS posted a message on New Death Knight Epic Card Revealed - Corpse FarmPosted in: NewsI could actually see this being the corpse sink card.
The closes comparison was the 5 mana 4/4 that summoned up to a 10/10, but that's far less flexible.3 mana is also a lot easier to "get off" than 5, despite it not seeming so.
Think this will just go into most decks splashing unh.

Breakfast1 posted a message on New Rogue Epic Card Revealed - Tar SlickPosted in: NewsIt's good on the same turn as Crabatoa. It's good with Serrated Bone Spike. Ransack is another beneficiary. They may print more aoe's, or better spell damage for Fan of Knives. By itself it can pop dshields or kill a smaller dude while setting that stuff up. I think people are underestimating this and comparing it with things that don't cost 1 mana and don't deal 2 to something by themselves. I can see this being good.

The only good-ish hit that's rotating is Lakkari Felhound.
They're adding Doomguard, which is huge.

Why is Pop-Up Volcano so cheap? Adding Lifesteal to a card that does that much damage is enormous. Pop-Up Book is really nutty too.
Does Shaman have an awful match up vs. midrange/aggro or something?

Only one of these cards actually cheats mana. This is actually a pretty involved combo package if you want any significant mana discounts.

They're talking about wild.

This card is cool as heck, and even without seeing most of the set already has a *ton* of good targets.
In Overheal Priest this is cool. He gets extra Groovy Cats and Free Spirits. Automaton Priest. Obviously Amitus. But maybe Cage Head.
3
My GUESS is that it'll check the original stats of the card. Not altered stats.
So minis will count, but cards that have been changed to 1/1s won't.

They'll likely add more frost spells (though I IMAGINE given this card they'll be cheap), but the average frost spell is 3 mana. With only Blizzard and Remorseless Winter costing more. I think the hardest thing will be getting value out of both generated cards.
This is clearly a mid-late game value card. Almost every frost spell either freezes something or heals you. So they're all good control tools.
At the end of the day this is a 3 mana 3/3 that's a +2 in the late game, that's really good value.

Honestly Deepholm seems more like a main set than a mini-set. Maybe the first set of next year? Probably all four elemental plains, though. Deepholm on it's own seems a bit thin for a main set, but too robust for a mini-set. (Plus it has *NOTHING* to do with Badlands/cowboys/the League of Explorers at all)

Use some of the broken cards they just got to win the game?
Not... this card. And I still don't understand the highlander legendary. But the rest of the set is like nothing but 4/5 cards at least.

I mean it's not really weak when not outcast. 6/6 with rush is pretty good. I think that's really what makes the card maybe worth it. Is that even if it gets stranded in the middle of your hand it's still fairly playable.
