I'm sticking to the build similar to your 3rd build, I play less Yeti, no Gadgetzan. So far I'm having good result with it vs huntard. Sorry I can't bring my Hearthtracker stats to prove it because sometimes I play vs control hunter too (the one with Highmanes). Just feeling in general, I can often have lethal next turn if this turn I have Ice Block :P
On a side note, just crafted Al Alkir 2 days ago, the card sure brings up alot of options.
Edit: I'm at rank 4 so control hunter does exist...
So no yeti, no gadget...what do you fill those 4 slots with?
You're missing the whole point of a trading card game. Do you play shooters and complain about the guns and would rather drive a tank?
There is no set way to play a game. On the note of shooters, if someone only plays multi player and never the campaign are they missing the point? No they play it as they choose.
Pretty sure you don't need to do daily research to play a shooter game effectively
With that analogy it would be the same as asking if someone played against the AI in Hearthstone and never casual or ranked is that wrong?
Exactly =)
I am sure there are people out there who do exactly this and enjoy themselves.

Yeah maybe something along those lines, I just find the deckbuilding a chore. I'd love to be able to just log in and play, knowing that I will be competitive
I understand this is part of the game, but it is by far my least favourite part. I am a net decker 100% and always will be just as I have been in every game I play (I google/youtube strategies for every game I play)
I know people out there will probably flame me for this, but I enjoy playing this way.
I would enjoy HS a lot more if a) decks were standardised and you just picked a premade deck every time
b) the meta never changed so you could play one deck forever
I have been playing shaman for a long time, have been level 60 for a while.
Do you keep or mulligan feral spirit vs rogue/warrior? I feel 90% of the time they die to fiery war axe / deadly poison and I feel behind from the start.
Also how do you go vs hunters? I have an abysmal rate vs them
I ran a very very similar deck which also took me from rank 11 to 5, but I have since had an absolutely horrid run and dropped back to rank 9...now looking at options for changes

How long do we have to DE for full value? I am still using pagle but really not liking him much now =(

I just totem'd and passed, won the game pretty easily a few turns later so I'm guessing it was the correct play

OP here. Still getting owned by hunters even though I have dropped to rank 9. 75%+ of games I lose I don't even get him below 20hp
Currently running three variants, non really better than others vs hunter:

If you had access to every card would you add some e.g. Rag / Thalnos / Pagle / other?

After only playing arena for the last few days I actually just opened an Al'Akir. Might be a sign?
Have added him in and lets see if this helps me out at all..

I seem to only win when I have a perfect hand. Too often if I don't have a turn 2 play its over before it began
My hunter win rate compared to other classes;
