Non battlecry effect. Perfect for getting cheated on the board. TAUNT DEMON. And warlock healing.
This card has such a sick combination of traits that have been traditionally VERY desired in warlock and very succesful in the class. I think it will absolutely find its way into the control archetype, in a future expansion if not right away.
Between Fandral, Ixlid and now this does druid SERIOUSLY not have enough "remove immediately and at any cost or lose the game" cards? No one likes these, this card would be good enough as a battlecry.
Just less legendaries that don't really make an appearence in more than 1 deck. I assume a great number of us want to play several new and fun decks from the expansion but we're always a legendary or 2 behind it and it's not worth crafting since it sees very little or no play outside of that one deck.
I think the rotation is going to help a lot there.
A cool alternative would be to just make more events, give everyone more dust to play with.
HS is one hell of a cash cow, Blizzard is not market-naive in ANY WAY, and they seem to be thinking long term with the introduction of varied renewable experiences like standard, wild, and the rotating years.
This game is not going away any soon, you can pretty much be certain of it.
I had quite a bit of second thoughts when disenchanting my golden Ironbeak Owl back when it was nerfed, it saw so much play with me already, several decks had that trusty 1 golden copy.
But I did it anyway because I'm a dust hungry heartless monster :)
Spiteful summoner - A mana cost increase most likely.
Dark pact - I wouldn't know how to nerf this one, making it demon only would be ok. I only think this will be the hit card because control warlock's power has always been directly tied to wether he has access to burst healing or not. Remove burst healing and control warlock becomes really underwhelming.
Divine favor - Mana cost increase. It's just nuts for a single classic card make an entire archetype viable (if not top tier) at basically every single phase of the game.
Because yogg was specifically nerfed with the purpose of removing excess randomness from competitive matches. Capping it at 20 would not have achieved that goal.
It's a year opening expansion. It's meant to not be flooded with powerful cards, else all other expansions of the year have either to powercreep to oblivion or have no impact.
I couldn'y possibly be any less interested in watching. I find it hard to even compare luck or anything of the sort, since streamers usually open an unnatural amount of packs.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't stream it though. Best of luck.

Because, even though they have decision making of their own, they have typically either less of far less of it than most other deck archetypes.

It will make HS as sick and feeble as that last kitchen ant that bit your toe.

Is that not basically every combo deck ever?
