Bit of a tricky question to answer since face hunter isn't really a competitive archetype in wild tmk. There are far more synergies for secrets in wild, so you could certainly move in that direction. My recommendation to you would be to go with mech or beast hunter, as they are essentially wild's version of this deck. Relatively cheap and super aggro with high WR, but they rely more on minions sticking to the board to kill the opponent. You should be able to find some mid 60 percent WR versions of those decks on HSreplay. GL!

Wild is a good place if you wanna play "home brews" as you can go quite far without facing a lot of the op wild meta decks and as for standard, I have had some success with my home brew decks even against the op top tier decks and the current meta isn't that aggressive anymore since rogue isn't as dominant as it was let's say a month or two ago.

     Way too expensive.

Wild is cheaper then Standard, wdym?

That depends. There are quite a few high tier wild decks that are very expensive to craft (cubelock, any form of res priest, darkest hour warlock, new versions of jade druid, any highlander deck since there are more highlander cards available in wild, etc.). Some of these decks blow any deck in standard out of the water with regard to crafting cost. With that said, if you've been playing for awhile it is obviously easier to make use of cards in your collection in wild than in standard since nothing rotates out of wild. So wild isn't necessarily cheaper than standard, at least not if you're looking to craft some of the crazier super OP decks and you don't already have the cards to construct them.

So the winstreaks stop at diamond 10 or diamond 5? Is diamond 10 equal to rank 10 or rank 5? Anyone know?

     it's equal to rank 5.

    rank 10 is plantinum 10

    rank 15 is gold 10

    rank 20 is silver 10

and rank 25 is bronze 10

So what equivalent do the 5's have, for example platinum 5 would be rank 7 or 8, diamond 5 would be rank 2 or 3? Also when do the bonus stars/winstreaks stop at? Some say diamond 10, others say diamond 5.

Looks that way. I have to say, I've read the whole blog post and I'm still somewhat confused about how the system works. Is everyone reset to bronze 10 at the start of each month, and then the rate at which you progress from there is streamlined depending on which rank you ended on last season? How exactly do win streaks work? Are the rewards for each rank cumulative, or do you only receive rewards for the rank you end up in at the end of the season? How do you reconcile matchmaking matching you with someone of similar mmr if they're not the same rank you are?

This all seems unnecessarily complicated to me.

Maiev is much better statted, doesn't leave them a body to trade with, and can be used on anything, not just taunts. If your plan is to kill the opponent very quickly, they might die before they even get their minion back, which would make her super efficient removal on a stick.

This is all well and good if you can kill your opponent within two turns of using Maiev. If you can't, there is no other silence effect in the entire deck. This restricts the overall utility of Maiev in that you cannot play it optimally without having guaranteed lethal within the next two turns. There is no such restriction with silence minions like ironbeak owl; once you deal with khartut or zilli its dealt with for the rest of the game, unless of course they are not removed and you're playing against a rogue with shadowstep in hand. I don't disagree that Maiev is efficient, but her battlecry also has considerable limitations that have the potential to hinder the rate at which you achieve your win condition, which is the last thing you want in a super aggressive aggro deck. Also keep in mind that silence effects are often played by aggro decks in order to achieve lethal on the same turn, in which case Maiev is slightly less mana efficient (4 mana) than say ironbeak owl (3 mana). That 1 mana could be the difference between lethal and leaving your opponent up with 1 or 2 health and potential outs or lethal for you the next turn.

This is alright. I think Maiev isn't that good and can easily be replaced by ironbeak owl, which essentially does the same thing but better and costs less. Metamorphosis is good, but maybe a bit greedy for a face deck. Acidic swamp ooze has the potential to be an effective tech, but I'm not sure it will be in the upcoming meta. Otherwise this is a decent deck. Eyebeam doesn't exactly fit with the typical ethos of what a face deck is, but I see the value in it's inclusion. I have no doubt this archetype will be refined once the expansion is released, but not a bad first attempt.

Hi everyone, long time had since I quit playing Hearthstone and few days ago I decided to play a couple of games and got addicted to again :). I wanted to make a no duplicate deck which also synergizes with dragons and after few tries I liked this one. It struggles against Hunters and sometimes Treant Druid( if that's what is called ?) What do you guys think about this deck ? Any suggestions ?

P.S: I'm a non-paid user so probably wont purchase any adventure.

    Thank you.

So let me get this straight: you claim to be a f2p player and to not have played HS for some time, and yet you have 3 legendaries from the most recent expansion and 3 from the expansion before that? I've been playing HS consistently for the last year and even pre-purchased the last expansion, and I still don't have Kalecgos, DQ Alex, or Reno the Relicologist.  Not sure why you're lying about being f2p and not not having played for some time, but ok.

You're missing some pretty crucial cards for the archetype. Book of spectres, luna's pocket galaxy, siamat and stargazer luna are all cards that would improve this deck significantly. Otherwise you could make marginal improvements like Mackie suggested like cutting raven and spellkin for bone wraith and khartut, but you are essentially netdecking the highest WR highlander mage from HSreplay at that point. Which is fine, it just wouldn't be your deck.

Why are you flaming the dude for lying about being f2p? why would he even lie about that lol. Like the fact that you don't have those cards doesn't mean he couldn't be lucky and open them when he came back or as he said, he just dusted a bunch of shit to craft them, as I said he has 0 reasons to lie about that so stop being a dick, he just asked a question and wasn't rude at any point.

Not really flaming so much as wondering why he would be dishonest about that. I agree, it makes zero sense to lie about that, lol. It also doesn't make a lot of sense to have 6 relevant legendaries from the past 2 expansions when you're apparently f2p and you haven't played in a long time. It is possible that he dusted a ton of stuff to get those legendaries, which I admittedly did not consider. Also a strange thing to do just for highlander mage IMO, but I suppose zeph and DQ Alex are usable in a variety of highlander decks and frizz has some fringe utility in some dragon oriented decks. Just struck me as odd, so I expressed my opinion on it. No more, no less.

Wild doesn't see much of adjustment/balancing bc Blizzard gets most of its profit in HS from standard. They have very little incentive to "fix" wild, particularly when you consider that the entire concept of wild is essentially to be completely unhinged. As such, wild has been pretty broken/unbalanced for many years now, and that's probably not going to change. Frankly I'm not sure how this is news to you, unless you just started playing the format recently? Infirc makes a good point as well that this is a big part of what makes wild so fun for many people that play it. Keep these things in mind when you play wild and I assure you, you won't be nearly as frustrated as you otherwise would be by how absurdly powerful decks in wild can be.

Leeroy is good, but keep in mind that it's rotating out in less than a week. The main reason I didn't put him in is bc he's a legendary and therefore expensive to craft, but if you do have him and want to slot him in I would suggest replacing one of the lifedrinkers.

posted a message on There is some advice to get legend?

This question seems to get asked once every few weeks on the forums. Inevitably you get people providing actually constructive advice, then you have others that say you just need a 51 percent WR, and then you get the people that say it's pure luck with no skill involved and you just need to mindlessly spam que with t1 decks until you magically hit legend.

My advice: listen to the people that provide information that you can act on and use common sense. Breakfast pretty much hit it on the nose when he said you need to stay calm and keep an analytical frame of mind. If you don't get tilted you will inevitably make sounder decisions, and if you think things through before you do them you will make even more sound decisions. Remember that legend is a grind; it doesn't have to be a sprint. Set realistic goals for where you want to be each day (I.E. if you're rank 5 3 stars, you want rank 4 1 star) and proceed with said approach. Try to stick with 1 or 2 decks max (but preferably 1) during your climb. You don't want to have to learn how to play an entirely new archetype well in the middle of your climb. Of course, you should make sure that the deck you're using is legend-capable before you attempt to use it to get there. Best of luck.

I don't like it because I literally have to go +14 games to improve from 900-800 which is about 110 games for me... It doesn't feel like the games are as important. Don't get me wrong I'm still having a blast; I love hearthstone. But I enjoy climbing and seeing legitimate changes to my rank. Going from 922 to 916 as I just did is after a 20-minute game is not nearly as satisfying.

This for me would be extremely demotivating, especially considering how much rank you typically would gain at this mmr. Definitely requires action from Blizz IMO.

Thanks! Certainly doable without hurting the deck overly. One toxic is certainly more budget friendly, but I also did it this way bc I didn't want people to feel as if they have to complete the first sidequest immediately so as to minimize potential DR upon draw of the second one. This makes the deck more flexible and makes it so that you don't feel forced to HP 3 turns straight in the early game when there are potentially slightly more optimal plays, as you will still get the 3 gnomes and 6 damage on board eventually without having to worry about having a dead second reinforcements in hand. With all that said, you can certainly replace a gnome with a second sidequest and the deck should still be just fine for it. Just good to be aware of how this might change your playstyle. Cheers!
