Let's talk about the most OP card in the game - Goldshire Footman. I can not understand how Blizzard could afford to create such powerful card. 1/2 and taunt FOR ONE MANA? Oh god plz. And it's neutral card. Plz Plz.

Works only with spells which target something. In Paladin these include Blessing of Kings, Blessed Champion, Holy Wrath, Hammer of Wrath, Lay on Hands, Seal of Champions, Holy Light, Blessing of Might, Blessing of Wisdom, Hand of Protection and Humility (LOL). It also Works with Spare parts so you might be lucky enough to get a stealth spare part but it isn't something you can count on. It's a Paladin card so you can't abuse it with an OTK like you might be able to in other classes (eg. Warrior with charge, inner rage, rampage ect.).
Of course this gets hard countered by any hard removal and it's heavy mana cost and the fact that your investing 3 or 4 cards into one body should make it a fun but not competitive card.

Of course secret paladin still can work if it was 4/4.
Just like miracle will still work if Gadgetzan is a 6 mana, and leeroy at 5 mana.
Just like undertaker will still work if it just increase attack instead of both attack and health.

OP? Maybe, in order to have good value there is to be at least 2 Silver Hands recruits and 3 other guys to make him a 5/10 with Taunt, which reminds me of somebody. Have fun!

Silences cost 0.5 mana, examples: Silence, Earth Shock.
To deal 5 damage 4 mana, examples : Fireball, Lava Burst(the overload value is based 1 overload per each 0.5 mana value, so the card would cost 4 mana if you remove the overload).
Total 4.5 mana.
