I've been playing for a while, and watched a lot of stuff from before my time, and yeah this is one of the more stable metas, like top 5. You just gotta admit to yourself you don't like hearthstone anymore fam
yeah commander is the ultimate goal, funnest format and every magic player I know plays it primarily. But it's not a good starting spot unless you're like a card game god who can pick shit up instantly
Dude this is just control warrior with some weird shit in. You're gonna have to go all rush and fire fly-ish if you wanna actually make something midrange. A midrange deck is a deck that stalls in the early game and goes hard in the late or midgame
Honestly I'd just do some hardcore reading up on it before you try anything. It's one thing pondering it, but watch tournaments, look at deck lists, common tech cards, just learn everything you need to get into it. then look at the cost, and what's good, and think if you can support it
Aggro decks are generally healthy for the game. It's when they get out of control like pirate warrior that I have an issue. I hope you are correct, speaking as a control/combo player. Nobody wants a ladder full of combo or control mirrors, that is just boring.
Yeah I was getting kinda bored of facing nothing but control in both formats. And odd pally is borderline pirates for me
