Varian is offered as the diamond legendary of the Reward Track.
In order for people that'll buy it but that'll open their packs BEFORE and get Varian in a pack, they can get a dust refund so they don't get "screwed" for having the same legendary twice.
Let's be realistic please. Tickatus is unfair for control players, yeah. Tickatus can solo win games sometimes, yeah. Tickatus is a 8/8 for 6. That's right.
But I really do love "empty your deck Warlock". And i love uncorrupted Tickatus... And the deck is as bad as it is to not nerf one of its cards... So maybe just nerf the corrupted version ? =(
Because Gonk reduced to 4 while you never drawn it in 10 turns into Sathrovarr the non-beast minion that cost 9 are a 3 cards combo to you ? You also needs attack on your hero.
And it was already do-able with the usual druide in wild bullshit with Avianna and Kun, so nothing new.
Why would a control deck would destroy his own deck and win conditions with a deck supposed to SURVIVE ? Would be a good effect for a zoo deck to suppress your own deck as it would simply cards you would not have drawn anyway, but here it suppress also YOUR board so... that is just bad ?!
Imagine making Kazakus a card that require real deck restraints for a high reward rather than a card with no deck restraints for a high reward, along with making it playable by every class rather than "every class but mainly classes that have cards for the archetype". And along making him preeeeeetty good, but not OP a heck so you don't make it a Zephrys-like that everyone want to include in his deck. And while keeping the essence of what Kazakus is : a card that give you a lot of versatility.
Let's say it's Kazakus indeed : why would it NEED to be for a singleton deck ? There's already a Kazakus for singletons, and singletons are horrible decks with high reward, no deckbuilding risk, and, more importantly, tons of "highlander only cards". It would only be fair to create and / or support new archetypes and designs if a new Kazakus was coming with the idea "Kazakus is a legendary dude that must be a core card from the archetype" rather than trying again and againt o bring back the same one.
Remember : the main point showing that Blizzard is REALLY trying to make something good with the core set is that they removed the Blizzard card. And that means a lot ! :D
