A more professional reply would be to time your kill. Don't overextend your board, and don't visibly show lethal. Count your potential burst damage, and having the Iron Beak Owl can get behind taunts if they think their safe. I've seen people at 15 HP think that they'll only take 4 or so damage. Then Owl on Taunt, PO + Doomguard (Discards Fist of Jaraxxsus), and I'm dealing lethal.
Either you kill it quickly, or you don't show off to the opponent. Keep them at 14 or more HP, and they probably won't use Reno. Use your burst wisely, and keep in mind that they can read your board. If your minion's total power, the damage you'll deal next turn, looks like it'll put their hp too low, they'll get scared and use Reno. If I only have Knife Juggler, Imp Gang Boss, and an Imp in play, they will see 6 power on my field. Them being at 15 HP or so, "I can take 6 and then just Reno next turn." and they'd play some other minion, maybe Belcher. Then you combo-burst them with Soulfires, Doomguards, Power Overwhelming, and Ironbeak Owl to silence the taunt.
Hope this helps, Good luck!

Kiv_Ridge posted a message on Anybody else loving Elise Starseeker?Posted in: Card DiscussionQuote from sneakysquids >>Yo, can you send me a list? That sounds incredible.
Sure thing! I'm using this list:Golden Monkey Rogue Theorycraft Unknown Deck by Jigsaw911111 - Nov 6, 2015Minion (8) Ability (22) - 2x Preparation
- 1x Blade Flurry
- 1x Sprint
- 2x Backstab
- 2x Deadly Poison
- 2x Eviscerate
- 2x Fan of Knives
- 2x Gang Up
- 2x Shadowstep
- 2x Vanish
- 2x Sap
- 2x Shiv
Loading Collection It plays out basically exactly like mill rogue. I don't really try to save bounce-backs for Elise if I don't have her, using them on Coldlights and Healbots as necessary. Also, don't drop the monkey once you get it if you're trying to actually win the game, and not just have fun. Try to use all of your remaining heals/removal beforehand, and just drop the monkey once your opponent runs out of steam. Its really more like mill rogue with an added win condition as opposed to a flat out "win the game with legendaries." Good luck! -

WispInEveryDeck posted a message on ShadowReno feat. Brann+ElisePosted in: ShadowReno feat. Brann+EliseCant tell if you are being facetious in your comments to nay sayers ,but the deck works. So there is definitely some thinking that has to go into this when you play it, but there are few times in this meta of aggro that they can keep up. Most often you exhaust their cards on turn 12, the ADD kicks in because the match isn't over yet, and they concede. Sure the deck will whiff here and there but navigation can mitigate some of that.
You really can toggle cards in and out with this and still get great value. Just remember Entomb [/card]shuffles the minion to your deck, and if it's a copy, like say of [card]Dr. Boom, it will keepReno Jackson from procc'ing.

DivineFromBehind posted a message on Better than Reynad'sPosted in: Better than Reynad'sMy advice is to save for Flamewaker. I have won plenty of games without ever drawing the card, but it can be a great source dmg and can really help improve early game board position.
Just think about the value of Turn 3: Flamewaker + Coin + Arcane Missiles. Or ifyou have a Sorcerer's Apprentice + Mirror Images or Knife Juggler + Mirror Images... You can push so much damage so quickly with a good Flamewaker start, it isn't abnormal for me to have my opponent down to 10hp by turn 4. Save up your gold! Use Wolfrider as a temporary replacement. :3

PlaguefistGorefiend posted a message on The Hunter class is a total failure.Posted in: HunterIt looks to me like you don't know how to play against face hunter. You know every card they can play so play around it, sure you can lose with some bad luck, but that happens against any deck. Ones you stabilize the game they usually quit anyway
As for midrange hunter beeing less viable? It's been higher ranked than Face hunter for months now, and me and others have reached legendary rank with it many times.
I think your knowledge of the game is the biggest problem here, maby watch some streams, and see how they deal with it and learn from it.

GileadsBalm posted a message on [UPDATED] Top 5 NA ShamanPosted in: [UPDATED] Top 5 NA ShamanHaving the best decks is rarely enough to win games consistently. There's the overall meta, but there's also, like, daily sub-metas that you have to ay attention to. Sometimes everyone in queue is playing control warrior and when that's the case it doesn't matter how good your freeze mage deck is you can't burn someone through 25 armor even with Alexstrasza. Likewise there's no aggro deck good enough to consistently win against dragon priest, so if you see three of those in a row you have to either switch decks or make some changes to stay competitive.

Update: I was able to win with this deck while exceedingly intoxicated. Well done!

Decklist or it didn't happen.

Calling Millhouse useless is an insult to useless cards.

It just means that it's been updated to include LoE. An LoE deck doesn't even needto have LoE cards, it just needs to be adjusted for the LoE meta. It being "the current patch" is exactly why it says that.

Came here from your Tempo Mage guide, but this looks just as in-depth... I'd given aggro druid a few tries for giggles, but with this guide I feel like I could make a real go of it! Thanks!

This has to be one of the best tempo mage guides I've ever seen - and a damn solid decklist too.

Well, time to move to another state.

Actually, since its only option is a 5-cost minion, it will probably win more jousts than most decks.
Which is pretty much its only advantage but hey who's counting

I'm having an absolutely wonderful time with Dark Peddler. I'm winning, and I'm having fun doing it. It's what I would call the right kind of RNG - it brings a little unpredictability without being total nonsense.

Eh, I'm kookie for card draw I guess. To my mind it lets me double-dip with Scarab, but I could just as easily play it out and find it totally pointless.
