That said, if you believe that someone is botting or cheating in any way, you should use the in-game reporting system to let Blizzard know, who will deal with it.
Just stop cards from hitting face. Nerf astalor and shockspitter and other cards to hit enemy minions .
But then you will have the problem that the only ways of winning feasibly are board damage from minions or possibly fatigue, which then makes the whole game become stale and less fun for everyone. Having unexpected and surprising ways to win a game is what makes the game fun and more interactive and immersive.
Everyone? Kindly speak for yourself. I love board-based battles. I'm super happy when I play a control deck and face another board-oriented control deck. I really dislike OTK decks, because then players are just playing their own single player minigames against a clock.
It is just a common phrase. No need to take it personally.
Blizzard added a way to report your last opponent. I suggest you use it when you see signs of botting.
as far as we can tell like most report functions in games this one does not work. or they are going to wait a certain amount of weeks/months to do a big ban wave.
Actually, the report function in the game does indeed work. For example, I have seen firsthand people whose accounts have been silenced for periods of time for flaming (after being reported) and similar. So, report or not, it's up to you - but it definitely has a effect. You just dont get told about it.

Possibly - I also find you cant got wrong if you just look up a well known streamer like Kibler or Savjz, etc and see what they are playing. Kibler is always good for a fun deck or two. Been using his recent Dragon Paladin and Rage Warrior, which both took me all the way to Diamond 5 last month (I don't bother pushing into Legend any more, because the reward to effort ratio is so abysmal)
HSReplay works great for me. And i has plenty of good decks without the need to pay the premium. You dont need to specify diamond and legend to get decent decks. Just check the number of players of a deck against the winrate etc.
This happens when you have an unstable connection (especially if you are playing on wifi). Its always been the case and has nothing to do with people cheating, am afraid. It's frustrating, sure, but nothing dodgy going on there.
Ehhh, I have this on every ledge. The amount of times I have hit 3 stars on rank 1 or 6 of every colour, is ridiculous. It happens to everyone- and the reason it is noticeable is because it is at a point where you pay more attention due to the closeness of moving to the next ledge. No, it's not gatekeeping, no, it's not the game stacked against you, and no, it's not pre-programmed to make sure you don't get to win. Its annoying, but its the same on every game that uses ladder systems and ELO, ranking algorithms, etc.
I can tell you gold 1/2 is no fun either - it has been taken over by aggrostone since the nerf to rene. I wish I would face more DKs.
I am having my own irritating battle trying to get over that Diamond 6 hump to D5. I keep hitting 3 stars only to face a successive number of toxic Frost DK or Mage Aggro decks and slip down repeatedly. Very frustrating,
Just FYI : “Instead of” is perfectly acceptable grammar. It is an abbreviation of “ln the stead of”, referring to one thing taking another’s place.
Anyway, that said, please keep it civil and on topic instead of attacking the OP for voicing their current difficulties. Perhaps make some useful suggestions on how to improve their game and beat the decks they are struggling against.
Nah, it was about the use of the grave accent ( ` ) instead of the usual apostrophe ( ' ) or ( ’ ) I personally also hate it when my keyboard defaults to the former and I have to search for the other one. I admit that I have gone as far as copying it from Wikipedia.
We will never have enough deck slots as more and more deck archetypes come through. This is natural and unfortunately the case all the time. Blizzard have sort of explained why they cant just keep adding more - I honestly cant recall the exact reason, but I vaguely remember it is a space management issue since everything is stored on their servers, which makes sense.

This is hardly a useful thread and I cant see it going anywhere positive.

Zola isnt anywhere near as effective as Brann, so really isnt in the same league in terms of abuse, I would say.
