I'm glad hunter got shafted. Finally no more hunter face decks.
Can you imagine? Pirate warrior, face hunter, face shaman, anyfin pala.
This game suffers a big disease called aggro and it needs to be toned down. Time for warrior to get the shaft next expansion.
What's the point of all these expensive legendaries when people only play with cheap cards anyway?
You know that current face decks are at least as effective as FH was back in the days right ? And that it is precisely warrior - the supposed "control" class - that is leading the charge ?
Back on topic though, I agree that Hunter's current status is linked to the current meta rather than the class itself (this isn't true for Paladin). It gets out-SMOrced by pirate decks and out-valued by Reno decks. Give Hunter a 1 AND 2 mana weapon and it will join Shaman and Warrior in the SMOrc fiesta.
I totally agree with you - apart from the idea that Warrior is supposed to just be a "Control" class. I'm certain it was never intended to be only this. There were plenty of options for Aggro Warriors even early on - but they were just pants! Heh!
I would have considered Houndmaster as being slightly better, but the amount of times he sits uselessy in your hand due to no beasts available, or you topdeck him on the empty draw and groan.
He's unfortunately too reliant on other factors to be good enough most of the time (for me at least).
My god. Do you go through life constantly offended?
I was answering OP's question and i do believe that emoting is considered BM by most players.
In fairness, you not liking people using emotes (which are a part of the game) does not mean that "most players" consider it BM. It's fine that maybe you do - though that is something of an overreaction tbh. There's nothing BM about greeting a player at the start of a game, or commending a player on a good move or a well fought game afterwards.
Otherwise, by that logic, you could consider anything that happens in the game that you don't happen to like to be BM. Guy plays a minion that's bigger than yours? BM! Guy plays a weapon and hits face? BM!
In fairness, one would hardly call Infested Wolf or Houndmaster "high powered" cards. They are mediocre at best with some usability. A 3/3 for 4 mana (even if it spawns to 1/1s) is pretty terrible!
I certainly think Hunter needs some love (though it's nice not to have to deal with Hunter's OP Hero Power for a while).
They got really shafted on the cards this time round. I'm surprised there wasn't a sort of "Patches" card for beasts. Patches should have been a beast, definitely - being a pirate is just... weird.
There is always a top deck. You either play that deck, or a deck that beats the top deck while having only slightly worse matchups against other decks. The more popular the top deck is, the more you can tech against that deck (which is how we get decks like Control Warrior, with horrible winrate against many classes, but still climbs since its good matchups are so dominant.
Tempo Mage is currently not favored against the top decks, mostly because it can't run the pirate package to compete with Shaman, so it is not a good choice right now.
Mage needs some good pirates that enhance spells and abilities (rather than most of them being about weapons). That would possibly make Mage Pirate a possibility. Maybe.
For the person who lost, it's sarcastic For the person who won, it's a thanks for a good game For the person who beat a cancer deck (Jade, Pirate or Miracle), it's a gloating comment
You were finding it easier because Tempo Mage was OP at the time, and easy to run up the ladder with, not because you were good. Just like the Aggro Warriors now, all excited because they're soaring well above their actual level.
Every deck has it's day. As does every player. Even Pirate Warrior can be played badly and lost with. Good players have good runs. Bad players don't. Simple.

Nice idea, but why 35 rather than 30?
This also makes this card inherently better (and more OP) than Reno because:
- No requirement to deck build
- Has Taunt, so adds protection
- Increases life total beyond the norm (Like Armour)

I thought we were talking about the "Well Played" emote for some reason.

It means something different for everyone.

There's many more as well. :-)

With an Eye for an Eye, the Paladin makes sure the Warlock regrets that move!

Play Millhouse against Pirate Warrior.
Look smug. :-)
