I think you missed my point.  This card is really bad at invalidating combos, and has weak stats, so it won't be played over Dirty Rat.  If people wanted to play this card in Warlock, they should first seriously consider Dirty Rat, (which by the way, did see play in MSG Warlock, but control warlock sucks rn, which is why it isn't played now) which takes cards out of their hand, which is inherently smaller than the deck, meaning you have a higher success rate of wrecking combos.  So if you're playing an exodia mage, or other combo deck, which like I said earlier, don't really exist competitively, you shouldn't really worry about this card because it will likely not be played in a Warlock deck, and if it is played, has a lower success rate than Dirty Rat.

What some of the listed decks? The listed decks that you gave me are unoptimized, and have no proof that they are better than a pirate warrior without shield block.  To answer your question, some better cards in pirate warrior than shield block that are for the most part not in the decks you linked are, Bittertide Hydra, Mortal Strike, heck some of the decks you linked didn't even run Frothing Berserker, which is like one of the best cards in pirate warrior!  Some other decks you linked me ran cards like Deathwing, and taunt packages, meaning they weren't even really "pirate warrior" but more midrange, so yeah I rest my case

None of the decks you linked have either proof of legend, were used in a tournament, or used by a pro hearthstone player.  They were just decks posted on the site.  I've personally also never seen a player use shield block in a true face pirate warrior.  So your argument remains invalid.

I don't think this card is really about drawing Fiery War Axe early guys. This card is more about drawing Arcanite Reaper later on for the last bit of damage, or tutoring for Gorehowl or Blood Razor if you're playing a control, or self damaging deck.

Yeah, I think if you're going to play 2 of this card, you HAVE to be playing jade idol.  Problem is, now there's a tech card for jade idol, meaning you could actually screw yourself out of the game by playing this card, because you'll fatigue way too quickly.  So idk if this card will actually see play or not, this is a super meta dependent card, but it most certainly is powerful!

I have absolutely no idea why on earth this card is getting so much attention.  So the cards only positives are that it has a "chance" to wreck combo decks, and that's pretty much it.  So let me get this straight.  This card if played early in the game gives you about a 1/24 "chance" to wreck their combo.  Okay, so the best case scenario is that you play this card when they have about 10-12 cards left, when they're looking for the last piece of their combo, which is still no better than 10%.  So are we playing poker here, or are we playing hearthstone.  Even in these scenarios, you have to be playing against a "combo" deck which currently don't really exist outside of quest mage, which it doesn't hurt because the quest is always safely played on turn one, and there is no way gnomeferatu can mill time warp.   Sure the card may get rid of a key card in a non combo deck, but because of all the discover/random generation mechanics nowadays, like stonehill defender, you can just make a new win condition from nothing in the late game.  And contrary to peoples' opinions, this card does NOT have solid enough stats, because there's a reason people don't play river crocolisk anymore, which is because it sucks and has no effect!  This card might as well have the text "battlecry: do absolutely nothing, but have a 3-10% chance to laugh super hard against a deck that doesn't exist". Like guys we have to be joking here, this is a meme card at best, it'll be great for highlights but literally nothing else.  Dirty rat does a significantly better job at wrecking combos and it's neutral lol.
