F'ing had it with priest on wild ladder... can I please just face something else... and before sugesting changing to counter deck, well then you just face another type of f'ing priest....
Hearthstone said they wanted to deviate more from the stories/lore already present in WoW (BRM, WoToG, KotFT).
I myself find The Burning Legion the most interested part/lore from the whole WoW universe, and would love to see some kind of expansion build around it. But afaik Blizzard is going to make expansion based on their own fantasy stories like WW,Boomsday and KaC.
Maybe if i write them email they will consider it :) .
Back in the day I liked the content, but I haven't played it recently, but I think there is some fun to be had with new archetypes against the heroic bosses.
As for cards there are only Loatheb and Kel'Thuzad which I see regularly in wild. I have however encountered Feugen and Stalagg in a deathrattle quest priest once or twice. The rest of any cards from Naxx needed in wild are cheap crafts. So if you want to play with the legendaries listed, then you should buy it. if you only want/need Loatheb then craft him.
This is without considering the the fun you can have with Naxx, and if you have a decent classic collection you can try to see how the game once played. Disclaimer: I know you can not experience a 1 to 1 version of classic as blizzard have nerfed a fair number of cards into the ground
I take it I'll still be able to play through the base adventure to earn the cards without having an extensive old collection though? or are the battles really weird and need me to have old cards to get through them? I have found that this is the case on heroic in the past, but it's always been doable for the base adventure with newer cards.
Yes of course, I do actually believe that some of the bosses will be easier with new cards and effects. I was referring to the heroic part when speaking about getting that classic feel.
I say depends on two things, is there any other card at all you need from naxxramus? even a card in the future? Most of the time spending 20$ on packs nets you 1 legendary, so if you want 2 then naxxramus is good
thing is I'm not sure if I will end up needing cards from it, so it may be better for me to just get the set. I know the adventure is meant to be pretty cool to play anyway, and it does have a decent amount of cards for the money as well (also maybe I can get that lo-fi naxx card back. never managed to get the card backs from any of the adventures yet though, really hard without older card sets)
Basically I wouldn't get many card packs for the same price which most likely wouldn't even give me 1 legendary where as naxx has 4 in it I think.
Even if I just wanted a few of the cards, dusting the rest would probably be more profitable than buying 15 packs of classic set cards or rastakhan
.
PS: how good is Loatheb? I mean I can see what he does and all, does shutting down the opponents ability to cast spells a good play in wild I'm guessing? (I really wish I'd saved my dirty rats now as well for killing reno)
Have been playing a lot of discardlock, trust me Loatheb is a beast when played the turn before you can drop Nether Portal. especially because I often does not have many cards in my hand by then

that rogue shrine is so good, I do not know if I hard hard bosses because I just stole all the key cards... And picking things to ensure that my shrine survived and being able to remove the minions just made it easier
TLDR Arena: Hunter, rogue, warrior average quality pick lowered, the other are raised
Rumble Run: Increased shrine synergy with cards buckets Made it easier as some bosses apparently were crazy You will now always be offered the shrine you just lost with and the shrine of the boss you lost to

Devolve is fine, seriously there are so many bullshit decks in wild, devolve is the least of the problem.

I have been wanting this for a long time too. and we are at a point where there are enough expansions/adventures to do so
