For me, the best state of wild was before Sunken City released. I could play any deck I create and score wins (I only play from 2018, but this time was the best). But now... with these decks it is pathetic. You can counter Druids and Shamans to some extent. But this...
It happened few times before and now I got it two times in a row with different opponents. Look at the picture below. Neptulon the Tidehunter arms have charge when resurrected or copied. OTK you on turn 3. This is unbeatable.
Wild needs help from Team5 again.

Of course not EVERY Paladin deck needs to have the hero played in it. Keep in mind at the highest levels of play Paladin isn't that great.
Right now, EVERY Paladin deck needs to have the hero played in it. It's way too good and important to Paladin's lategame goals to justify not running.

Just hate Ice Block to be honest. I think we have enough aggro and control tech cards to fight this deck. Ice Block is hugely a problem.

We need to fight for board most of the time, but if you are ahead by a longshot, then smashing the enemy Hero is definitely the move. At the moment, I would recommend just trying to analyze when you are ahead and consider maybe not trading as much as what I believe you are.

I personally believe Firemancer Flurgl is core to the deck's identity and play. If, however, you must really cut it or just ditch it, you could maybe run Lushwater Murcenary in its place. Of course, this will be far less powerful.
