This card ruined many games before. "Play around MCT lol" because playing a card game without playing cards is the correct way to do so. I remember a smug kid used to argue with me all the time (mostly because he thought he always had to be right and was a contrarian just to feel correct) about this stupid thing back in standard with Quest Battlecry Shaman. So when No-chin saw that it got sent to the Hall of Fame, it was like a defeat he couldn't admit to. This is one of the worst designed cards in HS history, and I hope we never see anything like it again, fringe or not.
This is just my personal take on this kinda stuff, but it's really up for those in the design spots of the game. I hit Legend in Wild every month and it can be quite draining. I personally have no clue how I'd change Secret Mage other than the universal Ice Block change.
The new weapon, Seedcloud Buckler, has proven to be very good when creating a board over time, as it can line up its Deathrattle effect with turns we establish more minions.
Personally, I didn't run into many Reno/Highlander decks on my climb, so I personally would not include Bad Luck Albatross. If you want, however, I'd swap in one copy of it for Rally!.

I have heard a lot about what is wrong with this format. Personally, I'd remove/nerf:
Ice Block (This card can equate to taking extra turns just because it exists)
Loatheb (To make combo and control decks more viable)
Stealer of Souls (To five mana maybe)

Just hate Ice Block to be honest. I think we have enough aggro and control tech cards to fight this deck. Ice Block is hugely a problem.
