Well, you empty your deck with Myra's Unstable Element. After that, you play that 1/1 Mecha'Thun thanks to Anka, the Buried and give it rush with a broom I suppose. THEN you play Secret Passage and if you do that your cards are technically are not in your hand anymore nor in your deck so now you need to just kill baby mecha'Thun and broom and win the game.

Thanatos2k posted a message on New Expansion Revealed: United In StormwindPosted in: NewsFor a company obsessed with the cards clearly explaining their mechanics, even going so far as to remove keywords because they were "too confusing" - these new quest cards are an absolute disaster. The mechanics are hidden and it's not clear whether the card is worth playing at all. An opponent playing them against you presents an unclear threat.

Yeah, why not? Let's ban every single card you hate! That makes a lot of sense! -.-
C'mon, dude...

etaoinshrldu posted a message on XilinhungHS' Top 10 Legend CTRL PRIEST! Metabreaking!Posted in: XilinhungHS' Top 10 Legend CTRL PRIEST! Metabreaking!I played 20 matches, won 17 lost 3. Mage is a mixed bag, if they go full face we can't outheal their spells and their card draw is way too insane for us to match.
Paladin is easy to beat if you tech in The Nameless One. I don't think I lost a single match against that class.
Warlock is a massive pain but winnable if you can make good use of Mindrender Illucia. I like to steal their Envoy Rustwix using The Nameless One. People say keep pressure on Warlock but thats hardly possible with all the removal they have. Best bet is to hope they either don't draw Tickatus early or try to steal it and play it using Illucia.
Getting a 1 Mana Illucia through Insight means you can try to do this on Turn 7 (Turn 6 with a Coin). If their Tickatus isn't corrupted, you can burn their own deck. Even if it's already corruped, I think playing it is the right choice. it's an 8/8 body + they can't summon it back with y'shaarj.
Overall, this deck seems really strong but card draw is a massive pain in the ass + surviving against aggro decks can be tough. This can't be autopiloted like other decks. One wrong move is the difference between win and loss. Personally, I'd rather play something else since every game turns into a 30 min match.

Today, we see more proof that the HS really has no idea what they're doing with this game.

Yes, they all have to be different. There are 4 different horsemen, and you need all of them to win the game, like Exodia from Yugioh.

I personally love this deck. It's quite fun (probably not for the opponent, but when I have to face secret mages and face hunters all the time, it's a welcome sight to actually be able to play a combo for once.)
1
This combo is stupidly broken. Unfortunately it's wild only, so it'll probably get nerfed after several months, just like Naga Giants.

I bought the $80 preorder for N'Zoth, and while I do think it might've been a bit much, I don't regret the purchase.
Duels was fun for a while, but I'll never get over 10 wins unless I get Robes of Gaudiness. The gamemode's got potential, but I'll be waiting for the HS team to finish it first before making any final judgements.

It took me four tries to beat him.
The first time, I underestimated his hero power boat and got overwhelmed by Walking Fountains and knights.
The second, I cleared his boats early on, but eventually ran out of resources to combat his minions (my 4-damage hero power alone can't clear the 6-hp boat, come on).
The third time, he played two Eye of the Storms back to back cuz he managed to Far Sight one.
The fourth time I guess he just drew poorly, cuz he hardly played any minions and I managed to save up enough removal to take down the Eye of the Storm taunts.

This may work for you at high levels, but at my pleb bronze/silver, it's getting steamrolled. So I had to switch around a few cards to make things work. So far, that's been doing pretty well.
2
It's an amusing deck, but doesn't feel like a good or consistent one. Most games I either lose, or win without being able to use the combo. Not once have I been able to use the combo so far, and I've so far spent my time playing more like a control deck.
1
Priest has a lot more than just Holy Nova and Breath, unfortunately. They can use those to clear our small minions, and then use Shadow Word Death or Shadow Word Ruin to take out our giants. And that's not even mentioning Plague of Death.
Ultimately, I find Priest to be the most difficult matchup.

This is the only Highlander Mage deck I've seen that doesn't run Luna's Pocket Galaxy, which is the only legendary I don't own and yet it seems everyone and their mother wants to run it. I'll definitely give it a try and see where it takes me.
