What do you wanna play? Ie cards/archetype/package.

Starting from those cards, what do you wanna achieve? Trying to smorc? To combo off? Define a wincon, a playstyle.

From your main package, how do you support it? How do you make it shine? Find cards/packages that support your wincon. If the deck needs card draw, find card draw, etc.

Then, lots of trial and error in order to find perfect balance and good synergies between your packages. Remove what isn't working or nonbos and try other thing that might be synergestic, or just huge value standalone cards.

When U get crazy, take a break. Then back to the lab, try again.

A good exercice is to deconstruct meta decks. Analyse them and find the wincon, the main package for the wincon, the playstyle, and the cards that support it. In T1 decks, as they are the best decks, it is fairly obvious. In T4 or meme deck it gets harder to see so start with top meta decks.

Also, always ask yourself about any card: What does it do, what is its purpose in the deck? Also, to assess the strengh of a card, always analyse its floor and its ceiling in the context of the deck. What can it do at worst, and what can it do at best? And how hard is it to achieve on average.

That's a good start.

Exactly, off-meta is the challenge above meta. It is the proof you've started to understand what is it to be a dedicated OG gamer.

Today I reached legend, after facing countless paladins, warriors, DK and a few DH. And you know what happened right after I got legend? I met a rogue off-meta deck.

In D5 to Legend grind, everybody does play meta, to get legend, to play off-meta.

Off-meta is fun m8.

P.S.: I know the struggle, I've reached Legend multiples times but it was my first with an off-meta build.

Wasted art since most of these are accessible only by whales, what a shame.

There's no way to know if this is good yet because we dont know how the mechanic works.

If it works like Rattlegore, it won't be very good. But, maybe you can buff Nyth back up to summon additional beetles; maybe you can buff the beetles to summon back a bigger Nyth; or maybe it's like Mimiron's head where as long as you meet the requirements it summons a base copy. We don't know yet. 

this is a great card. It's at least a 4/5 star card. Guys, this is a 3 mana 3 4 with discover a spell. If you wiff and all 3 options are bad, then you pick the worst one and give it to the opponent and deny them a card draw or worse: you could give a control deck with 9 cards in hand draw, Pocket Dimension or Supernova which will essentially eat a hand slot for the rest of the game and cause them to make inefficient plays to avoid overdrawing. Imo this will probably be a safe auto-include for the entire year unless there's a deck that specifically wants you to not include it i.e. minionless mage

Sad to see people still compare a collectible card game to a regular video game title sold on a console, they aren’t the same and never will be. I guess you can compare a 5 star restaurant to a  McDonald’s restaurant then and say McDonalds only charges $3 bucks for a burger so why should I spend $30 for a burger? Rationalization is one of the strongest human psychological  emotions to exist. We all like to interpret  things and base our choices off of are interpretations. I never understood why I should care about something someone else has that  I do not or the ability of someone else to do things I cannot.  The community that surrounds this game as a whole uses the term “ whale” as a pejorative and the term “f2p” as a meliorative. 

If you buy the bundle,  great if you don’t buy it, great. To suggest buying it is stupid because you can buy a “aaa” title for that much says a lot about the person making the comment. Secretly we all wish we could buy the bundle but everyone cant do that. So really wish the people in this community could get over their psychological issues with people who have something they don’t or choose to do something that they cannot.

I bought the mega-bundle. 

Can we just appreciate the effort Hearthpwn bros make to keep the community alive and post updated information so consistently?

It's a significant downgrade for the game the early access corridor sleeper by pre-ordering and not obtaining a diamond legendary by having all the cards of the set and instead giving us a bad rare and a common signature... I hope they don't keep doing that... At least the Doctor Holli'dae now has coherent color for the frogs. Kek

Twitch Drops may take some time to appear in game. I've seen drops take upwards of a week before they appear. But no matter what, they will appear eventually.

This is a Twitch issue, just be patient.
