posted a message on Separate the game mode by implementing total Deck mana cost

Obviously if this didn't replace the current ranked system, it would be a solid idea.

Blizzard isn't ever going to make a control meta, but playing some new game modes with hard limits on how cheap a deck can build sounds solid.

posted a message on Dragon Warrior with The Curator better than the old list?

I'd say the choices change the dynamic of the deck a bit, obviously Malkorok is faster, more aggressive, and can setup lethal for a Rag or Grom on the next turn, where as Curator is safer and can help against heavy control (lul).

A weakness definitely of Dragon Warrior can be running out of steam which Curator helps, it's just you're sacrificing tempo in a tempo deck for card advantage.

posted a message on [Poll] Hearthstone's most powerful class?

    Currently in Standard: Shaman

    Overall: Warrior

Warrior's basic cards are so nice, strong, and flexible it can support any archetype, which probably makes it the best class of the game, they actually need to look to Warrior to improving the other classes the right way.

Nightmarchers and Battle compressor (3 cards foolish burial, really?) are far more broken than any of those two, luckily for us both of them are rotating out in september 1st. N can give you an advantage to your opponent when you are in a good position or becomes unplayable if you happen to reach a leading position too early in the game.
Also Ninja boy so broken it was banned before release (well it was because a bug abuse in the ptcgo but  a really broken bug), also you get like 2 free copies of juni/sycamore and 4 free copies of N just for starting the game.
A broken card is still broken, even if its free and everyone has it.
Bringing up even more broken cards doesn't make Pokemon look any better haha.

posted a message on [POLL] Most boring class of HS?
    Quote from ShadowedToxin >>

Good job Rogue, lowest for both polls. Many games with or against Rogue are very good and close games, which makes them interesting in my opinion.

I think Rogue is really the dream of ideal class design.
By that I mean it's always interacting with the board, it plays a mix of minions and spells, has to make good value trades, all its cards are of appropriate mana cost (except blade flurry), the length of the game varies based on the game itself rather than deck design by the class, so it's usually just the right amount of turns, and has its strengths and weaknesses in class design with a solid hero power that has its drawback. Always playing to your curve is not always the best play and many macro decisions to be made, etc.
The issue is I feel the other classes are poorly designed, Shaman and Priest come to mind, their card balance to hero power is all over the place, the synergy is poorly thought out in the classes.
Shaman getting overstated minions to make up for the fact the hero power is weak and random, while Priest has a hero power that can be strong but no minions to really support it and instead decides to not interact with the board much at all, just removing minions until it draws more removal to fatigue.
It's easy to see why people see those two as boring classes.

posted a message on I did it! First time legend

Congrats dude, must feel like quite a accomplishment after 60 hours.

I tried all this season to make Legend, and I sadly couldn't make it, capping out at rank 3.

Did you stick with just one deck throughout the whole climb?

posted a message on Headed for Legend - S29 August 2016

Well I tried quite hard all this season, and I just couldn't make it to Legend.

Rank 3 was my limit, which I made to rank 3 with full stars multiple times throughout.

I tried many decks, Questing Rogue, Face Rogue, Miracle Giant Rogue, N'zoth Rogue, Midrange Hunter, Secret Hunter, OTK Worgen Warrior, but couldn't pilot any of them to success.

I guess I'm just not skilled enough, and I tilt.

So many games against Shaman just felt out of my hands though.

Every time Yogg has been played on me, he has won the game for my opponent.

Being on the receiving end of Yogg-Saron is probably the worst feeling in this whole game.

posted a message on After playing last 4 months, i think this is enough

    Rotation was a mistake.

I just wish they would do some actual balance patches instead of leaving us to suffer for a year against cards that are obviously too powerful.

Hmm that's interesting. Right now I'm trying out the Pokemon TCG Online and haven't encountered anything broken yet. It seems balanced from when I played it. Of course I might start seeing broken cards as I advance but it's been fun so far.
Let me show you some of my favorite cards.

I'm someone with a lot of time, and still only enough to only play one game at a time.

They all take a lot of devotion to get anywhere.

I've played Duelyst, Elder Scrolls Legends, Faeria, Eternal, Pokemon TCG Online, Spellweaver, and Yugioh over devpro.

I really need to put more time into Faeria, just haven't done so yet, have to build up a collection, and was getting smorc'd, but the game is probably quite deep.

As much as I complain about certain things in Hearthstone, I still think it's a far superior game to that of Yugioh and Pokemon currently, those two games are broken beyond all redemption.

posted a message on Is competitive HS actually fun for anyone?

I'm more interested in actually playing and piloting decks than making it myself.

I used my own deck which was a tweaked version of an existing deck to reach rank 5 earlier this season, but you really need a refined and well tested deck to go beyond rank 5.

I guess you could say most people are racers, they just want to drive their car against other racers, and not have to construct a car from scratch first, reinventing the wheel.

If you're looking to climb with a deck that isn't Aggro Shaman, the best are for your cards is C'thun Warrior and Yogg Druid, those are top tier.

    Everything that is Freeze Mage.

Shaman is a close second at the moment.

posted a message on Can't reach Legend w/ Miracle Rogue
    Quote from HaruAritaRAM >>

For Sanger_Zonvolt, the best rogue decks at the moment are Miracle, N'Zoth and N'Zoth/C'Thun ("Incredible Control Rogue" on Hearthpwn). Mill Rogue is good only against slow classes like Control Warrior and Priest, so I don't think it is worth in this meta.

The real question is which version of miracle is best in this current meta though.
This I really don't know, and it's why I'm stuck at rank 3.
