Quote from MarianoVqz >>I know this is most for legendary cards, but for a dragon deck is more important to have Twilight Acolyte or Twilight Guardian? I'm lacking dust for both

Kovachut posted a message on Legendary Tier List & Crafting GuidePosted in: Card DiscussionGood question.I would personally point to Twilight Acolyte: this you can use in both standard and wild formats + this one enables some combos (pain, cabal) + Aldor Peacekeeper was used in every control and mid-rangy paladin deck, slowing down the opponent tremendously. This one does the same thing, with the price of you making a dragon themed deck, but it gets the buff of that minion. Then again, the Twilight Guardian was always a solid 4*-drop, which the priest player always wants to play on curve. Not just against aggro decks, but also as a way to slowly snowball with its board.I would say - ask for more opinions. -

Kovachut posted a message on Legendary Tier List & Crafting GuidePosted in: Card DiscussionQuote from MarianoVqz >>I got Elise the Trailblazer, any good archetipe or deck to fit her in?
Gratz, she's one of the good ones.Well, the first thing I can thing of are some control decks - priest (including Highlander), Mage, Warlock, people also use her in some value ones as well. Tbh she was way more popular back in Un'goro, but now people found other ways to gain value (cubelock, dead man's hand for example) or the value just wasn't needed, when you care about rushing your opponents. Against Raza priest you don't really care, if you will out-value them by having more cards in hand, they just have to find their winning combo, there a lot of aggro decks as well and yeah...In other words - imho you can make a decent control/value deck out of her, especially in wild, but I'm sure, than in the next expansion there will be a lot more opportunities for slower control decks and thus there will be available slots for Elise. -

Kovachut posted a message on Legendary Tier List & Crafting GuidePosted in: Card DiscussionQuote from MarianoVqz >>1) Today I was a bit in a hurry, I only had time to copy/paste the link.2) Ehm, not quite. While the statistic does show a bigger win-rate for the champion after being played, take a look at the other criteria (% being played, % in played decks and deck win-rate featuring those cards) and see that the things are a bit more complicated. This just reminds me of Ultimate Infestation versus Spreading Plague back before the nerfs. I have seen people linking statistics from hsreplay and comparing those two cards. The first one had a high win-rate, while the second one showed a number slightly above 50%. See the link here - https://hsreplay.net/cards/#text=infestation, plague&gameType=RANKED_WILD&playerClass=DRUID&showSparse=yes - but just imagine this was before the change. So we had a little discussion, some people claimed, that since SP didn't have a high win-rate, it shouldn't be considered as a problematic card. Then there were others, who gave a more accurate explanation for the numbers - UI had a high win-rate percentage, a bigger one than SP, only because you could play it, only when you were already winning. If you played SP, that means you were in a bad shape and if you didn't had other tools in your disposal, if you were low on health and the opponent already had an immense board, there was little you could to to stop them. Why I'm saying is, is the following: Nexus has a bigger win-rate than Elise, because this means that you were already winning, since in order to play him you also have to play Anduin (with Raza). But look at the other criteria - this card isn't played that much, because if you are in a tough spot, this is the last card you want to summon on the board, especially against aggro, as it doesn't do anything to help you (unless you get some killer AoE, but this means relying on RNG).I pasted those links here, because I wanted to supply you with a bit more objective opinion (in the form of statistics). Kinda disappointed, that you didn't get much attention for your crafting question.{edit} I hope I didn't confuse you that much, I will express my opinion quickly:- Elise - gratz for getting her, she is a strong value-generating card, especially in priest. In terms of power level, she can be considered as a standard material.
- Nexus - fits Raza better, he is one of those must-kill cards, but he can be risky and slow sometimes. So be cautious. -

Kovachut posted a message on Legendary Tier List & Crafting GuidePosted in: Card DiscussionQuote from MarianoVqz >>Is keeping my dust a good option until we get new HoF cards?
I would like to give you a more detailed answer, but I don't have much time atm, so I will only say - YES. I think in general, that we have to wait (2 more months), until the next expansion and rotation hit. Some current decks (cubelock) may stay as they are and maybe they can be improved, but I just have a feeling, that not everything is certain and that's why it would be better to be patient, until we see the new cards. After all, it's not like we will lose our dust by waiting, now won't we? -

Kovachut posted a message on Legendary Tier List & Crafting GuidePosted in: Card DiscussionSpamming just to share my post here.
As for your case - I would wait a week or two, before I craft anything. Inb4 I also have a golden legendary (Countess Ashmore), but since I consider her to be a useful one, I don't want to risk at DE her for another legendary.
I just got Tyrantus... fml. Does he have aaany use? Besides being a epic of my choice
Feelsbadman. I don't want to crush your hopes, but sadly he is just a legendary filler.

GameTheory345 posted a message on A PSA for DustingPosted in: General DiscussionMost people probably know this already, and Pay2Win people probably don't care about this. This thread is for more F2P players like yours truly, as a PSA to highlight a mistake that many, many people have made before. This is so that newer players won't make our mistakes.
I'll start off with my story. In Frozen Throne, I opened Hadronox from my first 10 packs. When I saw that people weren't using it, I simply dusted it and sauntered along with my 400 dust. Now, two expansions later, Hadronox + Carnivorous Cube + Witching Hour Druid is rising through the meta and wrecking (almost) all aggro decks. Now because I had dusted my previous copy of Hadronox, I am now unable to make that deck, although I have all the other cards. Same goes (and even more so) for classic legendaries; I dusted Baron Geddon, my first legendary, only to find out that Elemental Mage is really powerful in Frozen Throne, and that Baron Geddon is one of the swing cards in the deck (P.s. I am not the only person to do this my friends have all made the same mistake).
My point is, never, EVER dust cards that have potential just for 400 dust right now. In fact, even if it is a really bad legendary (like Gruul), stave off of dusting it until you need that 400 dust. And I don't mean 400 dust for 4 pretty good rares, I mean like when you're at 1200 dust and you REALLY need to craft up Genn Greymane for that one, really good deck. I'm sure this is a mistake that everyone has done, and I seriously want to bring this into attention, because had I not dusted my legendaries from previous expansion, I would have easily been able to afford my cards now (I did the maths, I could have crafted Cubelock from scratch right now). In general, you want to prioritise crafting legendaries for a deck you REALLY want. And by that, I don't mean something like Lord Godfrey for Cubelock, I mean like Sunkeeper Tarim or Edwin VanCleef.
Once again, P2W players probably don't give 2 shits about this, but I wanted more F2P players to keep off the temptation, and play it safe. This has been a PSA, I don't know how many people still care, but hey.

MetricTrout posted a message on [Top 10 Legend] Ragnaros Cube OTK DruidPosted in: [Top 10 Legend] Ragnaros Cube OTK DruidI personally wouldn't recommend that. As I wrote in my Malygos Druid deck, the main reason Fandral is in the deck is to improve the consistency of Oaken Summons. When including only the 2 Ironwood Golems as 4 mana and below minions, usually you will draw one before one of the Oaken Summons. This reduces the Oaken Summons to essentially 4 mana, gain 6 armor, which is terrible. By including a third 4-drop, the consistency of Oaken Summons is significantly increased.
Fandral Staghelm is in the deck over other early drops because he allows to you to high-roll if you can get him to stick on Turn 4 with a Nourish to play on curve after that. Otherwise, he mainly serves as a 3/5 soft taunt that can also work with the upgraded hero power or Wrath. If you don't have Fandral, I would recommend replacing him with another decently statted 4-mana or below minion. Sicapent's Malygos decklist uses Tar Creeper, which I think is a reasonable choice. Another interesting possibility could be Savage Combatant, which can add value to both the starting and the upgraded hero power. The important thing isn't Fandral himself, it's reducing the possibility that Oaken Summons whiffs.
Starfall wouldn't be a bad inclusion in this deck, I just don't find it necessary, as Poison Seeds also works well along with Spreading Plague. If I was to include Starfall, it would probably be in the slot occupied by the second Poison Seeds. As with any decklist, feel free to experiment.

Can I vote for all of them? They are crazy good!

This deck is screaming for an update

Anxious to see those changes if there are some! Great deck bro
4
Hi dude, do you think Fandral Staghelm could be subbed off?Maybe for Starfall
6
Absolutely loving the new board

What do you think about adding Mirage Caller? Copying Spawn of Shadows or Emperor Thaurissan seems like a good option to find lethal. But I don't know what to remove, maybe Doomsayer?

Voodoomaster Vex + Zola the Gorgon, that's a deck I would really like to try!

Hi bro, me again. I took a time to calculate some possible combos with this deck in case you want to add them to the description:
Combo 1: Spawn of Shadows + Mind Blast + Holy Smite + The Coin
For this one you need to discount Spawn of Shadows and Mind Blast with 1 tick of Emperor Thaurissan
Total DMG: 33 Self DMG: 12 Cost: 10 mana
Combo 2: Spawn of Shadows + Radiant Elemental + Mind Blast + The Coin
For this one you need to discount Spawn of Shadows and Radiant Elemental with 1 tick of Emperor Thaurissan
Total DMG: 31 Self DMG: 12 Cost: 10 mana

I found both, the Sipiwi's one looks more like a combo deck, and seems more fun, but I don't know how it works. Could you please give me a little explanation on how the combo is? I'm sorry if i am a little annoying dude.
(I think this is the one you are talking about)

Guess what, I just got Aluneth in a pack haha. I'm definetitely crafting a burn mage first to enter the "mage world" and then jump to one of your decks. What list do you recomend me in particular? The tempostorm one?
