Would things like the boar from Razorfen Hunter or other token beasts count towards this?

That's a good question. I'm going to guess and say that it wouldn't work in this regard due to the fact that the boar isn't played but rather a summon from a battle cry. But I may well be wrong.

This card is similar to Gang Up in a sense. Calm down, let me explain.

You invest mana without impacting the board (4 mana 4/4 + 2 mana Gang Up sort of ), for a later benefit in the game ( Gang Up on Sylvanas Windrunner or Archmage Antonidas i.e.).

The question is, will you live enough to benefit from your investment? The answer is, this card at least doesn't need a good minion on the board to copy.

That's all there is about it, imo. We will have to see what the meta is like.

A deck centered around him will definitely need to ward off all the aggro it might receive. I think this is where Healing Wave comes into play. An amazing card with no Overload. Running 2 copies, worst case scenario, you gain back 14 health. Best case scenario you gain back 28 (if you even need that much).

What I wanna know is what is the best combination of minions to run with this Legendary? Frodan cited on stream that this might bring easier targets for Big Game Hunter, so we definitely wanna avoid these misplays.

I dont understand why all of the druid hard removal cards have to have some nasty side effect? I get they want to make it unique but they just end up being very terrible in the end and unplayable *coughNaturalizeCough* I'm not sure this will see much play in constructed, have to wait an see.

I guess the logic is that you get to remove any minion of your choice for 3 mana, so there needs to be a consequential effect tied to it. The thing is, there's RNG tied as well so it's not necessarily a benefit to your opponent. They might get an Angry Chicken or Deathwing. It's definitely a lot better than your opponent drawing 2 cards from their own deck.

Just to clarify, does Knight of the Wild need to be in your hand prior to receiving discounts for playing Beasts? Or can it be in your deck but slowly creep lower as you play Beasts, let's say 3, and upon drawing Knight of the Wild costs 4. I'm guessing it works in the former and not the latter but the couple of us are trying to discern this over on that cards discussion thread.

This would've been alright if it wasn't a Beast minion. The fact that it is, makes it so much stronger.

This card definitely brings out the longer controlish match from the Shaman but it might be a worthwhile change of pace. I'm gonna give this card a go and see how it works out.

This can be a win condition.  No need to wait on tokens. Attack face with your Biggest minion, poly it, and the poly can attack again right after (it is considered a different creature).

Great for control as you can just trade into it since it is a 2hp minion.

Holy crap, this would be so broken.

I'm wondering if this can be used in a defensive way without paying big. Like if you use this on your opponents minion, it might allow them to make a trade ie. Sludge Belcher.

Good point about the giants, but why then be so specific with Bolvar and leave this one vague? I am holding to hope on this one!

That's exactly the problem. Hopefully they'll make an official statement about it on Twitter or Facebook. If it doesn't need to be in hand, man oh man, the value that card would draw in a beast deck. Draws out removal like Fireball or Shadow Word: Death and dodges Big Game Hunter.

I'm definitely going to be running at least 1 of these in my Druid decks. Just hoping the opponent gets a Novice Engineer and not a Dr. Boom

I was really hoping this card read "Destroy a minion. The owner draws a random minion."

It would've made sick Sylvanas Windrunner plays

If it has to be in hand, it kinda sucks.

They always have to be in hand. Only the Giants mana reduction work out of hand. Can you name any other minion that gets mana reduction the way you want it to work? Even Mech Warper requires it to be on board to offer a reduction.

In a beast themed deck, this is probably a 5 mana 6/6, quite possibly 4 mana 6/6. Cards like Savage Combatant and Kodo could strengthen the beast flow. Maybe Malorne could make his debut? Everyone and their aunts run BGH anyways, so there might be some value there.
